Second morning in Brussels and we looked for a place to have breakfast and we came across Peck 20. The reviews are great and I trust my fellow yelpers so we checked them out. I can only say that we were seated within 3 minutes of arriving but after 30 minutes of waiting to have our order taken we decided to leave. There were some couples who waited 10 or 15 minutes and left but we wanted to give Peck 20 a chance to live up to the reviews. It didn't happen, we were never approached, told it would be a few minutes...nothing! I can only speak of our experience and I will never be back to Peck 20. The food may be good but my time is more valuable then waiting and waiting and not being acknowledged.

Great service! Breakfast was delicious! I had the Brioche French toast with pears in a pecan maple syrup. My husband had the Eggs Benedict with a side of avocado. The toast was light and airy. Both were absolutely delicious.

Very good food and nice relaxing ambience. The homemade chunky pea soup was so good and big enough for a complete meal. The waffle with fried chicken was fabulous. Also very dog friendly. Fabulous

Stumbled on this gem...as I walked around Brussels. Absolutely enjoyed the French Toast. I will definitely visit Peck 20 again.

A very good brunch spot in Brussels. My favorite is The "speechless" which is a waffle with fried chicken, eggs and bacon. Absolutely delicious. Filling and affordable prices+ a very nice staff Large choices of sandwiches salade or sweet meal like granolas and yogurts.

This place had great food, but it wasn't unforgettable or amazing. I'm not left feeling a need rush back, however it would be interesting to try other things. I LOVE savory waffles, so this is a huge plus. I had the Peck special, which had chorizo in the batter but I couldn't taste the goat cheese. The mimosa seemed like it contained fresh orange juice, which was nice. Service was friendly and fast.

This place was very good to us. We arrived early morning and was greeted nicely and seated right away. The staff was friendly and all spoke English. She took our order and even suggested a few item to write it. I ordered the Hemingway biscuit my husband had the breakfast special which was burrito omelet. Our coffee came in fast and we were given a tall pitcher of water. This is their 2nd location in Brussels. I would definitely come back here again for breakfast.

Came here for lunch on a Friday afternoon with my husband after settling into our hotel. We were able to find a table but there wasn't a lot of staff, so there was a wait. However, the staff was friendly and our patience paid off...the food was absolutely spectacular! I got the magic mushroom waffle and, if you're a truffle lover like me, I can not give it enough praise!! It's really nice to have the option of a healthier breakfast, especially since the sweet waffles, chocolate and fries are never ending in Belgium. I look forward to coming back!

We shared a brunch here. It's 2 poached eggs with sausages on English muffins with tartine sauce and salad. Delicious but expensive at E14. However, the coffee, tea, and fresh orange juice were super nice. Busy time when we're there but service can be better actually. $$$

Great spot for breakfast. Order the fried chicken waffle for a hearty meal or the fruit smoothie bowls for a lighter option. Beautiful presentation of food, great service, and reasonably priced. Would definitely go back!

    Peck burger no bacon

Great service, cozy atmosphere, incredible food. The best burger I've had in my life.

Peck's poached eggs are amazing, especially with goats cheese and bacon on a waffle, which is their special. Eggs-ceptionsl! Oh, and they're Cheesecake was brilliant too. This place just made my A-List. Definitely the place to come in Brussels if you're feeling peckish.

Hemingway with Lemonade (Strawberry-Blueberry-Basil) that unfortunately only tasted like lemon.

It's been a while I haven't made a review and this place forced me to do one. Good thing with this place is that it's in Louise and it's open from 7:00am to 10:00pm! Their main specialty is brunch and for a decent price, it's unbeatable. But that's the only good thing with this place because if I have to enumerate the negative points well it's quite a list (see below) : - No reservation (first come first served basis) - Over crowded - Extreme noise from their loud music and people need to shout so they can hear themselves talking with each other - Cappuccino (4€) taste like burned coffee so it was undrinkable (incomparable with the real Italian cappuccino) - Vegan green tea cake (mentioned on the wall behind the cashier) - I've ordered it but received a Lemon cake instead without the waiter informing me that they don't serve the green cake anymore (what a waste) I have mentioned this to the cashier but all she said is, "oh it's not on the menu card anymore and we don't serve it anymore".. Well why do you still put it on your wall and why your waiter haven't informed me when I've ordered it !!! Unacceptable client service !!! It's rare that I give such a review but the experience I had wasn't what I was expecting from this place especially with all the good reviews from yelp but sad to say that all in all, apart from the brunch (Hemingway for 12€), the rest is mediocre.

Hands down the best sandwhich place in Brussels. One of the best sandwiches I've probably ever had…read more I particularly enjoy any combinations with cooked vegetables. Beware however that there is generally always a very long line, and it takes longer than you expect to purchase an order.

We first learned about Thérèse et Dominique through an article by Derek Blythe in the Brussels…read moreTimes. He's the guy that wrote that 500 Hidden Secrets of Brussels book. In the article, Blythe shared some of his favorite spots to eat, drink, and see around Brussels. We were excited to go back in late February, pre-Covid and sample, what he called, "some of the best Italian-style sandwiches in town." We went at an off peak time and skipped any semblance of a line. My wife and I each tried a different sandwich, ate half, and switched. On our first go in February we tried the Blythe recommended Bonne Maman, made with meatloaf, zucchini, grilled red peppers, arugula and their own homemade cocktail sauce, as well as their Président, made with camernbert cheese, arugula, Granny Smith apples, olive oil, balsamic vinaigrette, honey, and pomegranate arils. Both were spectacular. The bread is very nicely made, and their sauces were really well balanced and complimented each sandwich perfectly. Back in February, this place would have received a five star review. But for some reason, I never reviewed it. Well, we finally went back again, post-lockdown, and, well, they're still on point. This time we ordered the Rodéo, made with roast beef, a three pepper tapenade, arugula, and parmesan cheese. We also tried the Ciccio Bello, a breaded chicken sandwich made with tomatoes, mozzarella, eggplant, arugula and slathered with their homemade tartar sauce. The roast beef was a little tough to get through, but the three pepper tapenade was a great balance of peppery flavor without being spicy. The Ciccio Bello however, was an absolutely perfect sandwich. The chicken was breaded and cooked perfect, very juicy with a nice crunch, and the tartar sauce was impeccable. All in all, in two separate visits, Thérèse et Dominique has left us excited to come back and try another different sandwich each time. Unlike most sandwich places where I would find a favorite and stick to it, I don't see that happening here. Each sandwich is a win!
