Phenomenal! I was so excited to find Arcade Legacy! They have console games and also old style arcade games. $5 and you can play for an hour or $10 and you can play all day. What a concept! There are countless console games. The arcade style games are the old style games and are all set up on freeplay. Once you pay your $5 or $10 that is all you pay. They have Pac Man, Mrs Pacman, Donkey Kong, Centipede, Millipede, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Tetris, Dance Revolution, and countless others. This is definitely being added to my list of entertainment options. read more

I had a blast last night at Arcade Legacy. I felt like I was 16 again playing Tron, Ms. Pacman, pinball and more. They even had Donkey Kong! Been to Arcade Legacy a number of times; when they were located on Boymel, then near the Springdale Theater, and now in Cincinnati Mall. When it comes to arcades, Legacy definitely reminds me of the old mall arcades from years past (though not necessarily the Forest Fair one from years ago where Legacy is located now - that one was huge!). You pay a flat rate up front and you get unlimited play on any of the machines they've got while you're there, and they've got a great selection of arcade games to choose from (a number of them have multiple boards - check out their website to find out which titles they have at the time), ranging from the classics such as Pac-Man and Donkey Kong, a lot of the fun multi-player games such as X-Men, TMNT, and The Simpsons, tons of fighting games and a few titles that you might not have played before. They also have a big screen where they can hook up a 360, PS3 or Wii and play there (typically, you'll see recent fighters like Marvel vs. Capcom 3 or one of the Guitar Hero games). I'd say the only thing I wish they had more of were pinball games but apparently they're getting more difficult to find. Arcade Legacy also has a very good selection of old games and retro consoles - you name it and they've probably got it, and they even have a number of foreign games and consoles if that's your thing. They've also got a decent selection of game soundtracks as well as used CDs, DVDs and Blu-Rays. And their staff is very knowledgeable about video gaming (both home and arcade) and eager to assist if you have any questions. If you're an old school gamer, this is definitely a place to check if you haven't already, and even if you're not, you'll have a fun time regardless! read more

It's ok, I guess. It's $5/hour or $10/day, but you get what you pay for. They had some unique games, especially a couple of hard to find japanese rhythm games, but it seemed like half the machines in there were broken. The guys working the counter were surly at best. They begrudgingly reset machines a couple of times when they froze up, but they accused my friend of not paying when he asked for help once. Come for the cool dead mall, and plop down $5 to try what they've got, but you'd be hard-pressed to make a day of it. read more

A great find in the zombie apocalypse ridden Forrest Fair Mall. Tons of great classic arcade games & virtually every console platform/game known to man (though notably missing one of my favs 3DO) for a very reasonable amount. From 80's kids to the Generation yolos, this place caters. You pay 1 fee and play until your times up or they close. All the games are free play and dont dool out tickets. Which in a sense sucks until you stop and realize the prizes you get with tickets suck anyways. 400,000tickets for an XBOX360 @ Dave and Busters might seem reasonable if you know how to soak the tickets for extra weight, but it's still amount to 3 years tuition at Harvard. They've got games for everyone. Newer stuff, vintage, console, pinball, RPG, Driver. Pros- You can drop the kid off and go shopping in the food court. Prices. Variety. Vintage games for sale with fair prices. Open late. Regular "series" where players compete against one another in games older then most generation yolos. Better than Dave Busters, Game Works and Chuck E Cheese combined. Parkings free and abundant since a majority of the Customers cant drive and the rest of the mall belongs in an episode of "Life after People." Cons- The rest of the mall sucks. The games get heavy use from button smashers, some of the games "feel" leaves something to be desired. Footlockers next door, so if the new J's be coming out the area turns into a Jungle. read more

Where else can you go and play classic arcade games, AND buy cartridges for your Atari 2600, Colecovision, Nintendo Entertainment System, etc? There are tables set up with every console and game you can imagine. They have Mario Kart / Rock Band tournaments and other events. The prices are a bargain. A decent selection of pinball machines too! The mall where they are located is a little creepy, but for me it adds to what is definitely a one-of-a-kind experience. read more

Prices are still the same as previously listed and they have so many old games for home systems for sale, it's not even funny. They have collector items also. I'm in love with this arcade. read more

A dream-filled wonder world in the almost otherwise abandoned Forest Fair Mall. Arcade Legacy is definitely a gem of Cincinnati, the price is right and the game selection is great. Games rotate, but it seems like certain favorites (or at least a few of my favorites) are locked in. It's never too crowded but never empty, but even on busy nights there are enough games to go around. I have yet to personally attend any events here, but in concept they sound great. Great spot for groups and personal/private events or get togethers, more than enough space and the staff is extremely friendly, helpful and all around welcoming. The used console game selection is better than most in the tri-state area and again the prices are more than reasonable. Very pizza friendly and I guess friendly overall. Solid spot for solo hangs, friend days, dates, parties and everything. In the past I had noticed issues with games being out of order, or crucial games and or genres of games being missing, but over my last five trips spanning six or seven months these issues are non-existent. Great fun for all dude! A+ FUN. Also, the hours! They are open late almost every night, which is crazy and a huge plus. read more

It is very easy to spend an entire day hear playing video games. They have just about every video game you can think of and then some. at $10 for all you can play, it is about the cheapest entertainment you can get these days. Also they sell old games as well. What you save in entertainment costs, you can spend to bring old video games home to play. The people working there, including the owner, are all very cool and very laid back. They treat you like they are happy to have you there and if you have any issues, they do their best to solve them. The only drawbacks, as others have mentioned, isn't the business itself but more of the mall it is in. Cincinnati Mills mall is more dead than your average zombie, there is only two businesses in the front before you get back to Arcade Legacy. During the weekdays, there is almost nobody in the mall, so you are unlikely to have any issues. Also of note don't park in the parking garage if you don't have to. That is extremely creepy and I don't believe it is a safe place to be. I park by the front entrance and walk back. read more

As a parent of two teens I must say what a great deal! $10 gets you all day play with no additional charges. People brought in food and coolers. You can play any kind of arcade game or game on shame system including ping pong for a physical activity break. read more

Fun, personable staff. Great, friendly crowd (including a birthday party). Aisles of standup arcade cabinets and tables full of connected consoles. Everyone seemed to enjoy socializing in person while playing popular titles together (rather than being isolated at home on headsets or Kinect with only a few siblings and friends). We were there several hours and still didn't get to every game, although even the busiest ones became available quickly--including an actual, full-sized ping-pong table. A good variety of retro and recent commercial faves and pretty much every popular home system since (and including) NES. Some games are in rough shape (I counted only two working physical pinball machines that night). But, admission price was definitely right: planning to be back soon even if they haven't yet fixed a few buttons or bumpers before we get to return. read more

I've only been here a few times, but I already know it's going to be a standard thing I do once a month or so. I love this place. First, great environment because everybody is playing games and having a good time. There are regulars who mainly play fighting games so the old arcade stuff is usually open, and that's what I like. They have a huge projector with Rock Band set up which is a really fun way to play the game. They host tournaments and you can book the place for parties and stuff. They have energy drinks and bottled water and the prices are super reasonable. (2 bucks for a energy drink, a buck for a bottle of water.) They have a really impressive collection of used games and movies for sale. They even have japanese style famicom games. Cool. Also a huge amount of cds for really cheap. Just all in all a great place, and one that I've personally told almost everybody I know about. read more

Remember when Cinci Mills was"Forest Fair Mall"? Remember how they had the largest arcade ever called"Time Out"? Well I remember the place as our child hood hangout,a time when Arcades were abundant but of this magnitude were few and far between and everyone we knew loved it &everyone we loved knew it! Then the Arcade Apocalypse came and cleared them all out far too soon,giving our future kids no chance of ever experiencing it,real arcades are now memories& just stories us parents try to convey to the Xbox live,PS4 gen&they couldn't imagine much less care about a place thats supposedly a "video game heaven",well now they can experience it at one place,Cinci Mills Malls ARCADE LEGACY,there's no place like it and everything about it is awesome! Our son and his friends love it! They have jus about every console set up along with the cream of the crop,vintage and mid 90'sArcade games,they also buy&sell DVD/Blu-rays,new&vintagecollectables,game consoles &games. The only thing that kinda aggravates me,being that I look through the movies &collectables while the kids are in the arcade is...the place Def could use straightening up a bit,some dusting,definitely organization&ways to better display items they have for sale,but just because I want to completely redesign and clean the place up isn't a reason to not spend an hour or even 10 there,so don't get me wrong because this in noway effects the gaming aspect or cool factor & the arcade is well kept. I always really enjoyed going here with my friends and my younger brother. We always have a blast playing pinball, divekick, and all the console games that are offered. Recently the staff doesn't seem to want any of us there. Acting very rude towards us and always giving us a bad eye. It has made my friends not want to go some where we enjoy and respect everyone around us. My younger brother doesn't even enjoy as much anymore, because of the staff. read more

The arcade part of the place is decent but the actual "store" section kinda sucks. The most annoying thing is stuff is either not priced, or it has a price sticker but it's buried in a stack of games inside of a glass case so that you can't see the price. Let's say there are 4 or 5 NES games you want to get, well they are stacked on top of each other but the price stickers on the FRONT of the games so you can't even see them. Most of the other stuff isn't even priced and there is just random stuff stacked up all over the place, it isn't organized at all. If you are coming in looking for a specific game or item it makes it pretty difficult to find something. I went in there once and I had a stack of movies I wanted to buy and I had to sit there for 30 minutes while they looked each one up on the computer. I don't get it, is it really that hard to just put a price on stuff? If you are coming here looking to buy something to add to your collection then I would probably avoid this place. The fact that it's in a run down decrepit mall in a sketchy part of town doesn't help either. I used to go to their old location late at night to hang out and play arcade games but I wouldn't ever go around this place after dark, even in the DAYTIME this place is sketchy! read more

i absolutely love this place. jessie and his crew are some of the smartest people i have ever met when it comes to video games. my wife amy and i just discovered this place a little over a week ago and have already spent a fortune there, lol. not only do they have a great selection, when i took something back there was no grief whatsoever. i have been to the store several times this week and plan on going again today. i even put off my cable bill just to spend money at this store. for people like me fed up with how simple video games have become, getting to play the games i grew up with has been very satisfying. read more
