Well for starters I'm a learner adult with 0 driving experience. I am new to the country so I don't have friends whom I can piggy back on to help me practice. Now I did attend 5 classes. And well they were pretty bad. The instructor did not even teach me basics of maneuvering. He just took me directly on the road and kept asking me to raise my speed. I agree roads have speed requirements but I'm a beginner driver so do you really think I'd be comfortable driving my first lesson in traffic? The instructor kept yelling and cursing at me. I get it, he's passionate or aggressive as he calls it, but maybe taking that tone with a learner isn't the best. In my fifth lesson the instructor asked me to parallel park without any instructions. And when I tried he said well you sucked. No doy sir! But did you teach me? No! I felt horrible cause I'm all alone here but being professional is not a thing I saw with this school. read more

If I could, I would give them 0 star. The are horrible and scam people. Their system make no sense and they sell you packages that are useless because if you only buy the classes and not behind the wheel they threaten you with revoking the permit because they say the behind the wheel is mandatory. Then why the f. would you sell a package that is worthless. Now they want double the money to do behind the wheel. Of course I will gladly pay double to another company that would actually go by the book. read more

My child only needed extra practice driving lessons for driver's test. March 2023 she had two awesome driving lessons with Donna at the Arcade Driving School. So, I purchased 5 for $295. I was not told that by purchasing 5 lessons that it means I am signing a contract agreeing that all purchases are non-refundable. I purchased them on the phone. I was so happy with the instructor. My daughter used one, then she was sexually assaulted and was not able to go to school nor function for months. Donna (instructor) was very understanding and caring toward my child. She said she would communicate with the office and cancelled all future lessons - and said for us to let her know if and when my child could take a lesson again. My child did not attend more than 8 days of school in two months. I lost so much work. I left messages with Christy(mgr) letting her know the situation and asking for a refund for unused lessons knowing we were not likely to ever use them given our circumstances. Christy did not return my calls. During a few windows when my child felt better she tried to take the driving test. After failing the test two times, she did eventually pass. It's August now, the driving lessons are not needed nor relevant for our purposes in buying them in March. I have not heard back from Christy. I called her today to check on a refund. Christy said because she had a daughter that was sexually assaulted as well, she does not feel we and my child's situation are sufficient grounds for any exceptions to a NOReFund policy I did not even knowingly agree to. So, she will NOT make any exceptions, will NOT refund me for any of the lessons and will take my money of $180 in unused driving lesson credits, PLUS charge me for the missed lesson. Upon my pushing the issue, Christy agreed to refund only one of the driving lesson credits for $59. I filed a complaint with the BBB. I accept paying for short-notice cancelled lesson and think it is fair and good business to refund me $180 for unused services. The driving instructor Donna is excellent. I am so saddened and disappointed to find the Driving School employee/mgr Christy cares more about the money than the person. I found her very uncaring during our conversation. read more

my son was wai for some one for his first drink lesson at 1330 sat afternoon. no one came to pick him up. they told us to call if he didn't come in 10 min. no one answered the phone. I will keep you posted if they charge us or not for the lesson but as of right now! I am not impressed!!!!! read more

I am only giving arcade driving school two stars simply because my son said his behind the wheel instructor has been wonderful. However, do not sign up through arcade if you would like to receive a license within 6 months AFTER completion of classroom/online work. My whole issue with this driving school is it will take over a month to schedule a behind the wheel session. Back in fall it was close to two months in between lessons. For example my son had a lesson mid December and could not get his next lesson scheduled until the second week of February! We were told that the state is now allowing kids at the age of 15 to do behind the wheel (which is insane anyhow) so now arcade is even more booked up. Instead of accommodating the older students who are already 16 and over they are allowing the 15yr olds to book up the behind the wheel appointments. They will also not allow you to book a session in advance. You have to complete one session before they allow you to book another. We did everything in a timely manner and have been trying to schedule behind the wheel sessions since September and we are only half way there. We will be lucky if my son is able to complete behind the wheel this summer! I have friends that went through other driving schools and their students were able to book all sessions at once and were able to complete them all in a timely manner. For my son, we are 4 months into behind the wheel lessons and have only had 3 sessions and our 4th not until February! Just crazy! So I guess if you have a 15 yr old and a whole year to complete lessons then definitely sign up. However if you have a 15 1/2 yr old to adult, go elsewhere so you can complete your training in a timely manner. read more

This school does not communicate everything needed. I signed my child up for a 3 week course that included driving. At the end of 3 weeks were told to book the driving session. At no time did anyone explain that the class AND driving were two different things. This was not a 3 wk course, this ended up being more like a 10 month process. Instructors book one appt at a time and based on their schedules which can be 2-3 weeks in between each session AND only allow you to book one per week. Very poor customer service and highway robbery. Do not recommend for anyone. read more

The front desk lady was very rude and is very slow with doing her job. Other driving schools have info sent to the dmv way faster than arcade. Where it takes arcade 5-7 days other than literally two minutes any where else read more

I have taken a dmv test training for my road test, my trainer Mr D was on time he picked me from my point he was very pleasing and knowledgeable trainer he thought me in detail also kept it very simple and good to understand the skills easily I really thank him also I would recommend him if anyone looking for a good trainer on wheels read more

Daughter took her lessons with this school because they partnered with her school for the behind the wheel portion of the course. She took her road test maybe 3 months after finishing the course( had to split the time behind the wheel with about 3 other students) and she also practiced with mom. Failed the 1st time by things that maybe sitting with the instructor with more time she would have gotten right.. (unnecessary hesitation at uncontrolled intersections) driving too SLOW.. etc. Until someone told us to pay for a mock test and maybe another lesson with "Mr T". Said and done! He was great! She passed and he even came out super early to get her ready for the test! Amazing instructor, who got her ready in just 2 days! read more

My wife is an adult learner. We live in Cudahy. This business sent a very unprofessional instructor who has stalled my wife's ability to learn how to drive. The older male insructor yelled at my wife before she even made her first turn. He proceeded to yell at her during her only lesson. He even told her to pull over and he yelled at people on the street. We did not complain right away but I recently saw him driving with another student. The instructor's unprofessionalism took my wife's motivation away :( read more

I had a good experience with the company overall. Ms. Pasha is definitely the best instructor - make sure you ask for her!!! As an adult learner she really helped me tackle my anxiety, while giving me instruction that was clear and effective. I have had nothing but problems with Arcade. Starting with the online enrollment where we never received a confirmation. I called and was spoken to rudely. I was promised an email confirmation at that time. That email never came. My son showed up to class and was not properly registered despite my phone call. He was given false information about the classthat was not also communicated to us, the parents. Now, he was told to wait 5-7 days for a paper in the mail to take to the DMV to register for his temps. We have waited and waited, now over 10 days out and it never came. I called once again and was told that he should have received it on the last day of class. Now, my 15.5 year old son can not get his license until after his 16th birthday. I understand it will only be about 2 weeks later but the reason that we signed up for the session that we did is so that he could get his temps the day he turned 15.5 and his license the day he turned 16. The timing isn't the end of the world, it is the fact that there has been so much miscommunication coming from Arcade. I should have listened to the reviews that I read before! read more

My Daughter was a very nervous first driver, she couldn't have been more terrified! Well that all changed after the first lesson with the instructor. She said he was very understanding, and took it slow enough for her to actually learn. He was very patient, and took the time to help my daughter get through her first lesson and the eventual lessons. She became a good driver and passed the test on her first attempt.
