I just happened upon this establishment as it was next door to where I was shopping at. I've never been to an arc thrift store but I've heard you can find some interesting items there. Lately, I have been on a thrift store kick. Between the great used books you can find, to the cool unique glassware, to the thing that you see that you didn't know you needed, but now must have, thrift stores can be little treasure troves. I hadn't been to this Arc in a decade or so and it is much improved since the last time I headed it. It has a small, but well organized book section. Tons of plates/glasses. And rows and rows and rows a pretty well organized clothes. This one even has fabrics and crafty items at the back. As thrift shops go it is one that has lots of good stuff. This is one of the cleanest, most organized Arc stores I have been in. It's a bit on the small size compared to others. I enjoy wandering the isles on my lunch break, and I typically do walk away with something-be it a sweater, or tacky coffee mug. Hidden in the back near the restrooms is an awesome game section. The shelves are full of oldies but goodies and newer board games too. The clothes are super organized, but I have trouble finding a dress and skirt section here. Again, it's small, so if you are looking for pants and shirts, here's the place. Anything else is limited, if you can find it at all. read more

I Thrift shop nearly daily. I buy and then sell online and I a brick a mortar store. it is my full tie job, and a good living. I shop Goodwill, Salvation Army, and ARC stores from CO. Springs to Ft. Collins on a rotation. This ARC is HORRIBLE. They Price way over what the value of an item is worth...and I am not complaining because I need to sell at a profit and cannot...that's just part of the game, this store prices like they are a antique store, as so, the product never moves until 50% sales. Today while there, they had dozens of little resin bears from the dollar store. They have them priced at $5.99 putting their pricetag OVER a dollar store stick that says .99 I picked up a wooden egg, the price sticker said $2.49, when I got to the register the cashier says "this is priced wrong it is $5.99" when I asked her where she saw that price, she said "i just know" I then pulled items out of my cart and said "how much is this?" thinking she knew the prices of everything....she didn't. she just wanted to charge me more. The store is filthy, the dirtiest I've been in. the staff is rude. I will not return to this store again. its a waste of time. read more

its OK.. not too bad but not good either. Staff are usually too busy to help long lines at the register.. its usually a total mess as if a F5 Tornado went through the sales floor. Price? wow. they are WAY overpriced on dirty used old electronics and furniture got a bed there 1 year later it collapsed and had to be recycled. This is my favorite thrift store! The staff is very helpful and friendly. The store contains the coolest stuff, from housewares to clothing to books... just about everything you'd want in a thrift store. They have fun sales to get rid of older items. For instance, one sale marks everything 50% off unless it was recently donated. Every item has a colored price tag. The color depends on the week the item was received. So if this week if new items are tagged orange, all the other colored tags (white, blue, pink, etc) are 50% off. They also welcome donations, which are dropped off in the back. They can be tax-deductible. You can get a donation receipt from the website or from the store. Proceeds benefit the adult retarded community. read more

Serendipity and I meet often at this ARC. Every time I am in need of a specific item, I head to this ARC. It's clean, the staff is friendly, and somehow they always have exactly what I'm seeking. For instance: just last week I needed an expandable wine rack and handkerchiefs, and PRESTO, there they were. I've also been lucky to find cheeky shirts and adorable ceramic creatures. To be honest, I have almost stopped going to any other thrift store in town. Maybe it's just a special bond I have with this particular ARC, but I can't recommend it highly enough. read more

The Arc Thrift stores allow a gold picker to go through all of their donated jewelry before any of it goes to the floor for customers. The other charitable thrift stores DO NOT do that. I wonder if those who donate jewelry to this store are aware of this - would they still donate their jewelry here if they knew Arc has shut out all other potential customers of fine jewelry and sells it for scrap to their buddy who's getting rich off the deal. That's just corrupt......period. read more

It's a good store and organized but the rudeness of the staff is very bad. The ones that are taking care of the merchandise in the isles and at the door make you feel as if they don't want to help and they don't have the time! Not a good way to treat your customers!! read more

This is a big thrift store and almost always has what I'm looking for. It's well organized and has a good selection. I drive a little further to get to this one because the one closest to me is a great deal smaller. People are friendly enough, but it can get kind of busy in there depending on the time of day. read more

I love this ARC. I always find good things here. Clothes, furniture, odds & ends; whatever. I literally never leave this location without having found something, or having spent too much. The only thing I would say is that they need someone that knows brands pricing. I have found pieces of shit very over priced, & items of clothing that should be held behind the cashiers, for $2.99. All in all, thrifting is one of my most serious hobbies, & this location almost never disappoints! read more

Bad service, they messed up their price tags and than expected me to pay 5x more at the register due to their own mistakes. Expected me to pay 9.99 for something they priced at 1.99 and then stared at me blankly when I said no thanks. The cashier gave a half apology. I love Arcs! But this one is crappy. Terrible customer service every single time I've been in here, I live right across the street but I'd rather hop in my car and drive to the second closest one. This one rarely has any good finds anyways, so don't even waste your time unless you like getting an attitude from employees and waiting forever for somebody to ring you out. read more

This was the final stop on my recent ARC tour . The cashier was friendly, though I found only one item (destined for my costume bin) worth taking home, a fake small dog stole (as in mink stole) which was too bizarre to pass up. I did find a vintage Sunday church-style hat, which I rarely find at the thrift stores, but sadly it was not my color. read more

Prices are high for clothes. I can get new at Ross for the price they ask. Also not very well trained staff. Very slow at check out. I tried to bring my service dog and had the most horrible experience with their staff approaching my dog and harassing it and then telling me that it was attacking them and even being asked to leave. Mind you this is a certified service dog. read more

As it is the closest thrift store to where i live, I have gone here on several occasions. It is a good, solid thrift store. What more can I or anyone expect, it is what it is. It is organized and when I needed assistance, I was not disappointed. So bottom line, it is a good thrift store and i do not have any negative experiences to report. For the best prices, like its competitors, just go when they have half price sales. On second thought, don't go, so I can then get the best stuff at the lowest costs. read more
