I just had my entire home renewed by ARC. They worked with my insurance to get new roofing, siding, trim and gutters. They took care of everything. I am thrilled with the job. The crews were all neat, professional and clearly skilled. They cleaned up very well. They worked hard to get everything completed before I was leaving out of the country. My 33 year-old home looks like new. Dean was an excellent communicator giving updates and explaining things. He gave great insight when making choices and his follow-up was exceptional. I highly recommend this company. read more

Arc Restoration And Windows - Home towards the end of the project. - Damage Restoration Near Me - Palatine, Illinois

Lori, a Project Manager came to our door 3 times within the same hour! We have a No Soliciting sign on our door window. We ignored the first two times she rang the bell and then answered the 3rd time. She tried to give her sales talk and we quickly questioned her about coming to our door. She said she didn't see the sign, but in our video footage she is clearly reading it and ignoring it each time. Would never use this company. They seem desperate to take advantage of homeowners. read more

I live in Grayslake,IL. Lori one of their project managers chose to break several laws to place their solicitation pamphlet on my front door. I have no trespassing & no solicitation sign very visible on my front. When I called the main number it went to voicemail. I called Lori and she got defensive with her illegal actions. All I want is the respect of my wishes and to not be bothered. An apology would be helpful also. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! After reading reviews, Lori and this company have been doing this a lot! You would think they would learn after the first negative review, or the second. Maybe third time is a charm!!!! read more

I would like to thank ACR for a taking on the repair of the damage I had from a fire to my home. From Chris coming out to work with estimates and making me feel that everything will be fixed, all the way to Nick coordinating 5 different contractors with regular updates, texts and phone calls. Chris and Nick made the process very professional and seamless. read more

We had a wonderful experience with ARC. We did a complete overhaul with them. Anthony was very attentive throughout the process and made sure everything was done to our expectations. We had a more difficult project and they were patient with us throughout the entire process. Also, Elmer their lead contractor is the nicest guy and an extremely meticulously hard worker. Thank you for all your hard work in the crazy heat! We love our house read more

I highly recommend ARC Restoration and Windows. After a strong hail storm came through, an ARC representative came by and offered an inspection. I liked that they were a local company and I saw that they had good reviews so I accepted their inspection offer- and they found significant roof and siding damage on my home. The ARC team assisted with insurance claim filing and were helpful and responsive throughout the installation process. I worked with Project Manager Dean Serdich and he was a great support even answering questions and providing good advice on house issues/problems unrelated to the project- which I greatly appreciated as a recent widow. read more

I have had a great experience with ARC from start to finish. They worked with our insurance company making sure that the roof was replaced at the same quality we expected. Tony was fabulous, upfront and kept me informed on every phase. I am really pleased with my new roof and would recommend ARC to anyone that has a roofing need. read more

Zero stars if I could. Don't appreciate Lori soliciting my house after multiple attempts and demanding to speak to the homeowner and wanting to just go ahead and sign us up for damage to our siding from "recent storms". Definitely haven't had any storms recently. Then leaving a fake warning on my door. We've only spoken to her through our ring doorbell and she was rude and pushy. We will call the police next time. read more

Alright apparently all it takes is a lukewarm yelp review and they are suddenly all over it. While I understand there were issues with emails going to spam folders, when I asked for some additional information and never received it I reached out to them. I emailed them to make sure we had the right address and waited on a response. I got a one sentence response with none of the information requested so I sent a text following up. That was July 16th. Finally we called up another company who has been great. After having a good experience with them, I decided to leave a review. Now I've had them contact me via Yelp and email which is funny because they couldn't get me via email before I left a review. I will give them credit for following up after my first review, but be prepared to go with another contractor if they do not respond. read more

Very positive experience. They did excellent hail damage roof and siding restoration job . Special thanks to Dave for very professional handling of insurance claim. Dave was very professional and helpful throughout the entire process. They even waved my insurance deductible !! Highly recommended. read more

Do not use this company, they wasted my time saying I could get all new siding and roofing...but when push came to shove and the insurance company came out, the ARC worker was completely overmatched. I'm not sure if they were trying to pull a fast one on my insurance company or actually thought the hail claim could get done, but either way, it didn't work. Worst of all, when it came time to help with my minor roof work I did need, they said they don't "do partial jobs" and bolted. Save your time and use a reputable company instead, not these door-to-door charlatans. read more

We had a wonderful experience with ARC. Ours was the 4th home on the cul-de-sac that they did . Their price was very good, they worked with my insurance (USAA) well and they were very accommodating to our schedule. The roofing portion took one day (large roof) and the cleanup was excellent. Siding took a bit longer but that was because the chimney firebox for our fireplace was all rotted out...they completely rebuilt and sided it at no expense to us! Again, cleanup was great. They also installed gutters (great job...guys been doing it for 28 years...a real pro. All the work was done on schedule, they showed up when they said they would, cleanup was great, and no hidden costs. I very, very highly recommend them and, as a homeowner for 40 years, I rarely write these reviews or feel this good about a company. We worked with Dave and he is THE BEST! Took care of all our concerns, was on site every day and paid close attention to every little detail. We resisted all the folks coming around looking to reside our home ( original aluminum siding 40 years old) because we didn't feel we could trust them. ARC is local, stands by their work and does an excellent job...5 Star! UPDATE: It has been a couple of years since ARC sided our home and I wanted to pay them yet another compliment...as sometimes happens in large projects like ours, small details can be left to be finished. ARC was outstanding in returning to our home to ensure every detail was completed to our satisfaction. Jim, one of the owners, personally made sure everything was done correctly and we really appreciated his attention to detail. Our home looks great, several large storms have revealed no imperfections in their work and I can highly recommend them. Unfortunately Dave, the outstanding guy who oversaw our project, has retired but I have no doubt that whoever filled his position will be excellent as well. These guys are not storm chasers...they are local, they are experienced and they do it right! Give them the opportunity to bid your job...I doubt you'll be disappointed. Great company (in case you are wondering, I rarely take the time and effort to write Yelp reviews unless it is something special...these guys were). read more

ARC is finishing up a complete overhaul of the exterior of our house; roof, siding, gutters, and windows. Dean has been so great to work with on this project, and extremely accommodating to any changes we decided, some in the middle of the installation. I truly appreciate his honest advice and he guided us to the perfect selections for all facets of the project, from roof selection to helping us settle on a siding color. They have done a lot of the homes in our subdivision and I highly recommend ARC. read more

Outstanding!!! We just wrapped up a complete replacement of our siding, exterior trim, gutters and downspouts as well as a new roof. We couldn't be happier. Dean was professional and accessible throughout the entire experience. Highest recommendation from us. :) read more

ARC Restoration recently completed my roofing job. Brian was professional courteous and worked directly with the insurance company to handle the claim. The work was done quickly and I really appreciated that they were clean and didn't leave any nails for my dogs to step on! Highly recommend! read more

Work completed: Roof, Siding, Windows, Window trim, gutters, porch pillars, interior & exterior paint Summary and impressions: From start to finish Brian Brown of ARC Restoration & Windows was a pleasure to work with. Brian was excellent at guiding us through this project. Brian made so many recommendations that totally changed the results of this remodeling work. He took a project which would have turned out well and changed it to a project that turned out outstanding. We have all seen homeowners make bad choices in remodeling; choices which have little difference in cost but can have dramatic effects on the finished project. Brian helped to guide us towards those terrific choices. He is the kind of person you want to work with, someone who wants you to end up with great results without only focusing on the financial side of the picture. He makes recommendations that make sense and are affordable. Details about the work completed: This project started as a hail claim for siding replacement. Another company came out to the property to assess damage, but missed most of the damage. Brian found substantial damage in all sort of places that a less experienced assessor did not. Brian has a great deal of construction and this experience made him that much more of an asset on this project. The insurance company agreed with Brian's assessment and covered new siding, roof, and gutters. Now with many other construction companies, the work paid for by the insurance claim is the only work that would have been done. Other companies may not recommend well timed upgrades as Brian did. Brian pointed out that while the siding was off was an excellent time to replace the windows. He gave us competitive quotes on a good quality replacement window. Then Brian also made the recommendation to upgrade our window wrap material from the standard aluminum (which dents easily) to LP Board (which looks like high quality wood work, but is maintenance free). At the same time all the other work was being done, the front porch pillars were also replaced and wrapped with matching LP Board. This gave the house a nice overall finished look. Matching paint was also used to tie in the front door and garage door. For the window replacement, work was done on all the window sills to correct any imperfections in the old, damaged, woodwork and dry wall was patched and repainted. The end result is a clean finished project. I highly recommend ARC Restoration & Windows!!! read more

I hired ARC for a new roof and siding following hail/wind damage. From the first interaction (before filing an insurance claim) to the last (after they had been paid in full), I was 100% impressed with how everything was handled, including fully dealing with the insurance company, impeccable communication throughout the entire process, respectful laborers, a work environment kept clean, and a fantastic finished product. I've give them 10 stars if I could! I liked them so much that I hired them to complete a siding job on a rental house I own, and I experienced the same highly satisfied results. read more

We have had ARC do a full roof and siding change for our home a few years ago and they did a great job, on time, and at a reasonable cost. Recently, we had a freak of nature occur and ARC was there for us even though it was not a profitable job. We are impressed with their commitment to customer satisfaction. A special thanks to Dave for seeing the completion of our job this summer! read more

A wonderful experience from start to finish! Fantastic job and our roof looks great!

We have nothing but positive praise for this company. From our first contact with Dave who explained the no obligation policy, everything ran smooth. After the damage was assessed, the claim specialist Dean, and our insurance adjuster handled all the details. We could not be more pleased with how beautiful our home looks and how professional all involved were. They were prompt in arriving at our home to replace siding and after everything was done, the cleanup was if no one was ever there. Thanks ARC! Brian, your design suggestions were amazing! Dave, Dean, Elmer, Gustavo, Ignacio, Ever, Cory, Jaylen, Rutilio, & Jesus, you guys are artists!!!!! We are 150% pleased. Our #1 rating goes to ARC. read more

This is a first rate company, that does great work (as shown by the positive reviews by folks that had work done). All the bad reviews are from people that can't get approved for free siding or roofs. Their insurance company decides that, not ARC. I would definitely recommend them. read more

ARC Restoration is awesome. Brian from ARC walked me through the entire process from start to finish. He contacted the insurance company for me to get the hail damage approved. The team of workers who did the house were great. They were efficient and cleaned up really well after they finished They replaced my entire siding and wrapped all my wood with Aluminum. They used the best material and even replaced my gutters and fascia. I would highly recommended ARC to all my neighbours, family and friends. Thank you ARC. read more

Wasted our time for two years. ARC Restoration rep knocked on our door to see if we were interested in getting a free evaluation of our siding and roofing, after that was completed, we were told that roof is fine, but siding has hail damage and could be replaced thru the insurance company. The rep took all of our insurance information and told us that he will be in contact with the insurance company and with us. We have not heard from anyone for almost a month, then I started calling the ARC Restoration, I was getting a run around, and then after promises and promises of someone calling me back, no one called and they just disappeared. Then the next year came, the rep knocked on our door again, wanting to see if we are still interested, we said that we were and then the story repeated itself. I spoke to two people over at that company, Cornell and Dean, and both of them disappear as soon as they tell you that they will be in touch. The bottom line is this these people just lie and waste your time! read more

ARC contacted us after a hail storm late this spring and, after inspecting our siding and roof, said we had hail damage. Worked with the claims specialist, Dean, who was great about contacting our insurance company and meeting the insurance adjuster at our home for the insurance inspection. However, when the insurance adjuster said we had no hail damage but did have damage from a leak in the roof, Dean could not be contacted by phone or by e-mail when I tried to reach him to see if ARC wanted to do the repair. It would seem this company is more interested in the quicker turnover of replacing siding and roofing from hail damage and getting reimbursed for that then dealing with more substantial roofing issues. Not saying they are a bad company, just saying to be cautious. Yes, they did not charge us anything for the preliminary work they did, but they should communicate better- i.e. say when they are not interested in doing a job. That is what a good company does. read more

ARC recently completed our siding, gutters and some roof work. They were helpful from the beginning in identifying the hail damage and working with the insurance company to pay for the work that needed to be done. Dean was very responsive to us and managed and coordinated the specialized workers that came out to do the work, which was started and completed quickly. We are very pleased with the materials and workmanship of the siding, trim and gutters. The workers went beyond our expectations and all of the worn wood around the windows and garage door were replaced and beautifully trimmed. The gutters are larger, attractive and more functional. The roofer thoroughly inspected the roof and fixed what was needed and did some extra caulking. I will call Dean when I need more work done. Highly recommend them!! read more

I was very satisfied with the work that ARC Restoration in Palatine, IL performed on my home in Hoffman Estates, Il They did an outstanding job and held the highest professional standards. They were very patient, helpful, and organized in helping me in installing a new roof coupled with the aluminum siding. I could not have asked for better work on my home. Their work made my home more attractive to potential buyers and I was able to get a contract on my home within 3 months after placing it on the market. I was so satisfied with the work that Dean Serdich and his crew did on my house that I referred Dean and his crew to my younger brother for work on his home and they did an outstanding job there as well. As homeowners and consumers we have choices in who to select to do restoration projects on our homes and I would refer Dean and his crew to anyone. They were superb and my wife and I are eternally grateful to Dean and his crew for the work that they did. They used the best material and I would highly and enthusiastically recommend Dean to all my friends, relatives, neighbors, and colleagues at work. They are first rate. ARC Restoration was given to us by our neighbor, and was one of the professional experience of our home owners life. We have never had a claim before and with the help of our insurance company, adjuster and Brian Brown from ARC Restoration we have been able to have our home repaired. The roofing crew was great. Very clean and detailed and even with our weather conditions they were ble to finish in two days. The siding crew was just as great, taking time to wrap the end caps and windows, also very clean. The gutter guy was very professional and customer friendly. And every day Brian was there to oversee the workers and explain to us what was happening . We would highly recomend this company and especially Brian Brown to any and all home repairs , Lorri and Wes Woodall read more
