I started working out at Game Changing Performance about 6 months prior to the pandemic shutdowns…read more After bouncing between numerous gyms, fitness studios, and random barre classes, I have found my way back to GCP 2 years later as GCP is literally the only gym where I have found the results that I am always seeking. As someone who hates cardio, sweating, and literally everything that revolves around the gym, GCP has this homey, friendly vibe that sucks you in and keeps you coming back. Don't know how to explain it, but you can walk into this gym in the worst mood possible, and you will walk out with a sweaty, shaky smile every. single. time. This gym will make you look forward to every workout (even the ones that include 500 million burpees). Desiree, Ashley, Nathan and the entire crew will get your heart rate up, that sweat dripping, and will safely push your limits even when you think your legs cannot hold you up any longer. GCP offers group classes with various timed stations with the perk of having a trainer to help guide you to ensure that you are using the proper form (super important for those of us who are athletically challenged). GCP has also expanded to include nutritional supplements that you can purchase onsite to add to their nutrition guides. I also like the fun (hard) little (big) challenges that you can choose to signup for throughout the year. Game Changing Performance is definitely unique to the area and unless you actively try to fail, you WILL see results. I wish the program was a little more customizable, as I do feel it to be a "one size fits most" program, and having a special plant based diet has made some of the transformation challenges in the past a bit more difficult, but I survived with a little extra work and creativity and a little extra guidance from Trevor who helped as much as he possibly could. If you're looking for a positive change with a supportive team that will hold you accountable, this is 100% the place for you.

The trainer, Stephanie, was literally the best trainer ever. So motivational, encouraging, positive, understanding, and just overall incredible. Definitely take a class with her! The studio itself is bigger than it looks like from the outside. It's so clean, modern, and the staff definitely takes care of you. The actual rooms where the workouts take place are pitch black with colored low lights and you can hear the music blasting from them when you pass by. I loved it! Stephanie played great, heart pumping music for our class, too. I will definitely be back here for another class with Stephanie or with other instructors. I'd love to try another cycling class and also different classes since they have so many. Thank you Inspyr for a powerful workout!

The trainers are patient and motivate you to achieve the maximum your body allows you to. There's absolutely no pressure through their training and after your 20 minute workout, your body feels like you've been at the gym for an hour. My hesitation is with the staff. I'm not sure the trainers are all actually certified. I've worked the past few sessions with one trainer who truly does not know the answers to basic questions. My sister who is also a trainer was appalled to hear some of the responses I received to my questions. As a Groupon, it's definitely worth it, but I would never pay their normal prices. It is REALLY expensive and again, I'm concerned by the quality of the trainers. Fortunately, since the machines do most of the work, I don't feel I'm putting myself in harm with the uneducated trainer.
