For dessert we got an apple cobbler. She warned us that it will take 10 minutes to prepare. The cobbler however was pretty disappointing. The dough was ether made with salty butter or a bunch of salt was added to it by mistake. I doubt I will ever go back.

Outstanding service! We were seated and the hostess took our drink orders. My wife wanted orange juice and she said they were out of OJ. We placed our orders. While we were waiting for our orders, the hostess came back over to tell us that they just got some Orange juice in. My wife ordered it and it was delivered a short time later. My wife liked her multi-grain pancakes. My omelette was good as were the new potatoes. The gravy for the biscuits and gravy had a very nice hint of black pepper in it. I had to wait about 5 to be seated (totally normal) but I was seated and just ignored for a long time, the waiters/waitresses kept getting mixed up on my things (except for Sam, he was great) and it took a while for things I asked for (like a water) to show up. It's totally fine, not a deal-breaker for me but not the usual five star Cattlemen's experience. Inside is great. I don't know why, but I had never seen the gallery, and inside was a handful of artwork, averaging around $150 - $200 per work. The restaurant is clean and comfortable in many ways, and that's really nice to come to after a long day.
