Service - both the bar and the table service was very good. Food - from the bread and butter, the Hush Puppies and the Bone-In Pork Chop, everything was very good. Overall - come for the bourbon and stay for the food! This place is a gem.

We had a 6:30 reservation and showed up at 6 to have a drink at the bar and there were actually empty seats, which never happens. We had lemon drop martinis and old fashioneds and everyone was happy. Once seated, it took awhile for our server to arrive and we wanted more drinks. The bar was extremely slow getting drinks to the table. There are loads of appetizers and we chose to share the hush puppies as we had them last time and liked them. They arrived quickly and weren't nearly as good as before. These were barely warm and much more chewy. For my entree I chose the roasted chicken. It came with mashed potatoes and broccoli. Our meals arrived timely and the food was hot. My meal was good. Service was decent during our time there. As time went on, the crowd got busier and the room got louder and louder. That's a Friday night for you!

Ordered the Butterburger combo with cheese. It was good. Comes with crinkle cut fries. However, the burger presentation could have been better , bun was smashed on one end, and while the patties were good they weren't fresh. Took off two stars for those reasons. Surprising due to how busy they were I expected a better. I should have read the Yelp reviews for this location first.. lots of 1 star reviews.

My lunch date had the BCB which a regular cheeseburger fully dressed out. She said it was the best burger she's ever had. The owner, Corey, was quick with the order which is made after you order. Everything tasted fresh. Seating is outside on 1 of 2 picnic tables. They are in the shade. No music or anything, just the noise of the traffic going by. It's a total hole in the wall kind of place - all outdoor seating, yet you have it fairly busy with people waiting on their food. We ordered kids' ham and turkey sandwiches, a regular Cuban, and the Philly. All were excellent. This is what I was looking for when I wanted a Cuban, and this definitely hits the spot close to home. I wasn't expecting much of the milkshake, but they are some the best we've had. It's mostly just Cubans with different options and a soup and a few salad options along with the milkshakes. Their milkshakes are made with real fruit too. You can place your order ahead online - which we will do in the future to help with the wait time. I also saw they have party/catering trays.
