Always been a big fan of Arby's with all the competition I don't eat there often but do enjoy my meal every time. Hit the drive thru and the wife needed a little extra time to view the menu, the girl working the window was patient and pleasant. Disappointing to say the least. First visit was not great. My father. Wanted to visit so we went for our first time Long wait time, cold fries and a manager who just doesn't care. He won't even acknowledge your there or smile So I figured I would try a second time. Whomever schedules staff for this store does a TERRIBLE job. Friday evening I waited over FORTY minutes for three classic roast beef sandwiches and an order of fries. Judith tried to give me the wrong order twice, insisting it was mine. Classic roast beef sandwiches are NOT square in shape, FYI.And the person working the drive thru, named Sierra, took an attitude with me when I said as much. She got very snotty with the one person handling the lobby, telling her she "needs to stop taking orders until she gets caught up." Umm. How about YOU pause the drive thru for a minute and HELP her??? Jen, who was handling the lobby WITHOUT ANY HELP FROM ANYONE NO MATTER HOW MANY TIMES SHE ASKED FOR IT, was doing the best she could, considering she was called in from another location. Good food. Terrible service. I was a drive through order . The woman taking my order was short with me over the intercom which was frustrating because my basic questions weren't getting answered. Then when I got to the window she purposely didn't extend the card reader far enough out of the window for me to swipe my card. When I asked her to please extend the card reader, she turned it so I could swipe my card but didn't extend it any further lol! Then after she gave me my food and receipt, she looked at me and walked away with out saying thank you, or any thing Hahahaha. It was so rude it's quite comical. My family and I love Arby's, but we moved and now the one on eastern is the closest ... everytime we drive through we have to wait out front for our order.. not that big of a deal but this time.. not only did they not hear our whole order, they didn't repeat our order back to us. After they gave us our drinks they asked what we were still waiting on . . We told them "our food?" Mind you, none of them at the window had their noses coverd, and they asked us to park and wait for our food. We got it quickly and left but halfway home we realized they missed part of the order, it wasn't charged. So we drove all the way back but the line was really long. We asked one of the workers out side if they could do the transaction for us inside so we don't have to wait in the line again and they said no... but it was their mistake in the first place for not adding it to the order.. so we said forget it and went home.. but the best part!! I am genuinely confused as to why this Arby's sucks so much and why Arby's corporate offices aren't stepping in at this point. The other night, I swung through the drive thru for a Diet Coke because it was the only empty drive thru in the parking lot. The young woman working was super rude. Tonight I had a craving for a roast beef sandwich and headed over. When I pulled up to the menu board, I was asked to wait. Totally cool. But as I say waiting, I noticed that the lobby was empty and there was only two cars ahead of me and I had been waiting to simply order for a good little while. I finally decided to skip ordering all together to go elsewhere, but I was stuck in the drive thru waiting for the other two cars to get their food. It took me a solid 10-15 minutes of wasting gas only to not order anything. I'm so over this location. They legit make like three things... why is it so difficult and why do their attitudes always suck? :-/ Just a fun update! Tonight I needed to eat but nothing was sounding super great, though a roast beef sandwich sounded nice enough, and I was talking to a friend about the past two trips to this location. We took a bet on whether or not tonight would suck as bad as all the other nights I've gone. We decided to time the whole experience. There were two cars ahead of me. I pulled in at 8:21. A gentleman said to order when ready, and as I began to speak, a girl cut me off and asked me to hold on a moment. (Same as the last few times.) At 8:28, no one had ever told me to go ahead and order again, and I was looking to see if anyone was inside. Again, totally empty. I decided to leave at this point and expected to get stuck behind the cars in front of me. No one was there as I pulled out to leave. I tried to see if I could see any employees through the window. No one. The place was empty. I know a man and woman were working as two people responded at the menu board, but I have no idea where they went or what they were doing for 8 minutes while I sat at the menu board. Out of pure curiosity, I tried calling the restaurant. No answer. I got a voicemail that sounded like someone's home answering machine. At this point, I feel like I'm trolling the place because I'm not even mad, I'm just dumbfounded. Like, is there not an owner who is aware that his/her store has a 1.5 star review on Yelp? Are they even making enough money to afford rent in this area? Like... so many questions! Will I ever get a roast beef sandwich? Terrible service! Would not recommend anyone visiting this establishment for obvious reasons. First of all, you should have a person that is keen to an order being placed and not having your customer constantly repeat themselves on top of the fact that when asked to repeat the order back not be able to duplicate the order properly. Drove 1/2 hour from mountain's edge to get Arbys, were waited on by a guy who was definitely high... Found that they didn't have the sandwich I wanted (even though it appears in the advertisement) and then they only took cash, girls don't carry cash. Guy behind us took down the manager's name and took pics of the franchise plaques. This was our second trip there in the past year, the first time they had no meats- seriously, no meat. The customer service is horrible. I ordered a medium fry and it was fresh and good but I also ordered a Jamocha shake and it was so thick it didn't even look blended it looked like ice cream and it didn't taste like a Jamocha at all the last time I had one it tasted like a frozen coffee shake and was so good at another location. This one at this location just tasted like vanilla ice cream mixed with a small amount of chocolate. I told the Hispanic guy at the window and told him it was too thick and he said the machine made it not me so I don't know what you want me to do so I just left upset. Beware of this location! Not only is management rude and very condescending but the audacity of these people is beyond me! I came to management with an issue of fraud and they made me feel like I did something wrong! My debit card numbers were used to make a purchase while I was in possession of my card and at work! I have used my card at this location many times over the past ten years or so. When my bank first made me aware of a fraudulent transaction, I called to get help and the assistant manager was extremely rude and passes the phone to the "head" manager mid conversation, no warning! The "higher up" as he called himself half listens and hangs up on me!! I called back a few times and they did not answer. So I had to physically drive to the restaurant after they ignored my calls and hold up the drive thru to conduct business and get the proper attention my matter deserved! The assistant manager charges at the window a like a elephant through the jungle and screams at me to take it up with my bank and then she just dropped the mic and walked away?! Who does that?? Then Mike the "higher up" decides to refuse to help me even though I could provide the specific amount stolen out of my account, the exact time of the theft, the last four of card used, etc.. he didn't even deny that he purposely hung up on me!!! Mike refused to review the recent transactions of the day and basically treated me like my problem wasn't his... these managers must have come out of a cracker jack box because there is no way they were trained to treat people like this especially when the customer is a victim of a crime that happened on their watch!!? They definitely gave me another reason to go vegan!! I did, of course, cancel my card and submitted a fraud claim with my bank but the lack of empathy from these two and the lack of concern, the lack of professionalism handling the matter... what a shame! read more
