Harrison OHIO on the map?!? I've been around this area a lot for the last year and I've never found…read morea good steak. Lo and behold, this hidden gem.... The Pomodoro, yes. The Calamari? Yes. The stuffed mushrooms? Yes! But the 8oz. Filet (medium plus) F*********** yes! Not only did the food serve well beyond my taste buds needs, the service was 10/10, the ambiance was, as they say, Lit, and the evening was great. If you haven't been here for dinner, stop trying to impress your partner with O'Charley's. I promise you, she'll enjoy the steak here more. ** visit the men's restroom for a weird chair **

I went for lunch with two friends following a visit to nearby St. John's Cemetery. We arrived just…read morefive minutes after they opened at 11 am and were attended promptly. We were surprised the place got nearly full before noon on a Tuesday. Very classy old school ambiance including an attractive bar. It was romantically dark inside. We had just come in from a blazing summer morning and this atmosphere was welcome. I had the fettuccine Alfredo with added chicken. It was comforting but the chicken was pretty bland chunks. I was disappointed it did not have grill marks as my friend's grilled chicken sandwich did. My dish would have been so much more appealing with a little bit of parsley garnish and an offer of cracked pepper. My other friend had the soup & salad lunch and the goat cheese salad was a beautiful presentation. We all agreed the food was good, though there was no wow factor - other than those wavy French fries. Our waitress was pleasant and checked on us appropriately. She also cleared up the mystery of the restaurant's name; turns out that once upon a time, Harrison Avenue was known as Market Street. We couldn't help but notice the crowd was overwhelmingly in their golden years. I am early Generation X and I felt like I was in the youngest 10 percent of the patrons. This was a weekday early lunch so I'm sure the crowd is different at other times. I would likely check this place out again if in the vicinity.

Brand new location. We went opening night and the place was packed! The inside is beautiful, you…read morefeel like you are in a fire station. Because it was opening night, the owners were present and making sure everything was going over well and everyone was taken care of. The subs here are delicious, my favorite is the Italian but the meatball is good as well. Good it good, think of the sandwiches like a step up from Subway. Had some tv's inside too so you could watch whatever was on (in our case it was opening day for the Reds, so that was on). One of the biggest pluses to this is that they give back. The whole reason they were founded and how they give to the firemen and the community is great. This is a great establishment and I'm sure it will do great in our tiny town!

The last few subs I ordered have been soggy due to an excessive amount of ranch/mayo. After a 10 minute wait I asked and they said "oh here it is" and it was behind the counter in the kitchen area. Now it was soggy and cold. Why wouldn't they put the bag on the pick-up shelf?! I asked for the Miss Vickie's Spicy Pickle potato chips. They said they no longer carry them, so they tried to just put a bag of regular Lays in. Um, no...I wouldn't have ordered chips had I known the pickle ones weren't available. I completed the survey and asked to be contacted....never heard from them.

I enjoyed their freshly made chicken salad (with grapes) on a croissant. My sister loved the grilled Brie cheese sandwich. The oatmeal cream pie was so good! I'll definitely be back to try more food. They have daily specials and the prices are really reasonable.

I don't know how I missed writing a review for Mill Town Market. It's been over a week!…read more I wanted to give this place five stars, but some of the food just didn't hit the mark. That said, I had the Blackened Salmon Salad which was outstanding. The piece is salmon was huge and perfectly cooked. The dressing complimented everyone on the plate beautifully. Just yum! Mark had the daily special - meatloaf. He said the mashed potatoes had the taste of box potatoes and the meatloaf was just okay. Some gravy would have gone a long way in improving the overall flavor of the dish. Someone had a Simple Sammy breakfast sandwich. It was nothing to write home about. The place is small and cute. There is a restaurant next door with additional tables. I'm not sure how all that work. Our server was super nice and helpful. We took Brownie Cheesecake Covered in Chocolate and a piece of Peanut Butter Pie home. The desserts were fantastic! A home run! If you go, either leave room for dessert or order something to take home. You will not be disappointed.

It's Cincinnati. If you're an out-of-towner you have to have Skyline chili. Right?…read more Cincinnati chili must be tried: No description can adequately capture its unique flavor. This was my first taste. Though I didn't dislike it, I'm not sure the Mediterranean-spiced flavor taste appealed either. However, sampling the chili was challenging as the signature mound of cheddar cheese made it difficult to taste anything but cheese. In the COVID era Skyline operates pretty much like it did pre-COVID. Menus are delivered; masked servers take your order; and, food is served on reusable plates and utensils. The diner addresses COVID-19 by separating each table or booth with a plexiglass shield. That also keeps all tables available so for a mid-week, afternoon meal Skyline was nearly full.

It typically takes 10-15 minutes before anyone even takes our order, they usually forget something, and most of the staff seem to be on their phones or standing by the carryout window. The employees are generally unfriendly, and the hot dogs are often undercooked. If you're willing to drive a little farther, the Montfort Heights location is great and provides a much better experience. Update: my two year old got sick shortly after getting home due to the undercooked hot dogs. Very disappointing experience. I can't recommend spending your money at this location.
