Many thanks to Kevin, Pedro and the entire crew for their outstanding work completed recently on my property in Vista. Kevin has an unbridled passion for his business and an uncompromising commitment to excellence and exceeding customer expectations. My project encompassed a significant amount of tree and limb removal, tree shaping, cleaning, stump grinding, onsite chipping and material removal to the dump. For two full weeks, the Arbor Artistry team executed superbly, helping to remove decades of overgrowth to my recently purchased two acre property, restoring and enhancing the natural beauty of these wonderful old growth trees and most certainly adding value to my investment. Kevin was onsite everyday without fail, to make sure the project plan was moving the right direction and unhesitatingly adjusted course as we made a few changes to the project plan based upon his expert advice during the course of the project. I am so thankful that I was referred to Kevin and Arbor Artistry and very grateful to him and his entire team for completing such excellent work! I highly recommend Kevin and Arbor Artistry and will certainly utilize their services in the future! Thanks very much Kevin and team! read more

Great crew here! The owner is fantastic and the workers are experts. I would highly recommend these guys. They know exactly what they are doing, everything about every plant and are so efficient. 5/5 stars. read more

I am so happy with Kevin and his team headed by Pedro and his guys who are saving my beautiful Primrose tree which is quite tall, magnificent and beautiful. The tree was attacked by bugs and I tried my local landscaper who sprayed it with something, then my knowledgeable handyman who sprayed it and trimmed it back severely. All to no avail. I finally bit the bullet and looked up an arborist and found Kevin at Arbor Artistry. I feared the worst when asking the price but found Kevin's cost quite reasonable. The guys came in the cherry picker and spent a couple of hours delicately pruning my tree until it was free to sway in the wind again. They put nitrogen into the ground around it and sprayed neem oil into it. I can see how happy my tree is already! The team also pruned some trees which abut my neighbor's home so as not to infringe on their siding and keep the trees' roots from creating a problem. Something I didn't recognize until Kevin brought it to my attention. I very much appreciated his advice and counsel. I dreaded the thought of losing my Primrose nor would I want to cause a problem for my neighbor's foundation! Thank you Kevin, Pedro and Team for helping me! read more

I love these guys. The owner is a certified arborist and veteran, very responsive and just a nice guy. I've used this company twice and the owner provided valuable consultation and education about my trees as well as reasonable pricing and great value for their work both times. The work team is respectful, friendly and efficient. Pedro, the work team leader communicates well with you. The expertise of this company shows in the work. I have several large, tall bottle brush trees, a large liquid amber, two large bushy Yates trees as well as some smaller trees. My trees and I are very happy. Thank you so much! read more

Arbor Artistry trimmed our trees in June 2023. I waited to review because I wanted to see how the trees did to give a start to finish review of their services. Excellent all around! Our trees have never looked so wonderful. They did an amazing job, on time, fair pricing, and got the job done faster than I thought they would. There's a lot of trees in our yard. I have other properties and I will call them for all my tree needs from now on. read more

We highly recommend Arbor Artistry for tree trimming and removal. Reasonable price Highly skilled Excellent cleanup A true passion for what they do Kevin and the crew at Arbor Artistry were amazing! Kevin responded promptly to our request for a quote for removal of a tree. While here, he recommended lacing two other trees that we didn't realize needed work. His quote for removal of one tree and lacing of two others was so reasonable that we accepted. We're so glad we did! Watching his crew was like watching a choreographed dance. The worked together flawlessly, quickly, and efficiently. It was fascinating to watch. They were very careful while making cuts to avoid damage to anything in our yard. In a few hours they were done, and they cleaned the area meticulously. All in all, a great experience. read more

Arbor Artistry came to our house and did an amazing job. Kevin, who is very experienced and a great communicator, brought in Pedro and his crew, who were top-notch. They beautifully cleaned up our overgrown quarter-acre. They safely and efficiently removed a huge jacaranda that was overgrowing the house and expertly cleaned up our enormous live oak that was growing into some wires. They also pruned and shaped several mid-size trees and trimmed a number of native shrubs that were blocking our view. It was a huge amount of work, and they exceeded expectations. With great communication, efficient work, expert skills, beautiful results, and fair fees, our yard is very happy. Thank you! read more

I have used Arbor Artistry to expertly trim my 11 specimen trees for the 4th time. Also, i just had Kevin and his crew take down a diseased 30' high Liquid Ambar and grind the stump - a major job. They planted a new 30" box tree in it's place and also planted a Eureka Lemon box tree in another area of my yard. They do excellent work cutting down trees, planting trees, trimming trees. They also clean up all of the debris. Kevin is an experienced arborist and has an expert crew. I highly recommend Arbor Artistry. read more

I have lived on this family property my whole life. We have several trees that are heirlooms and precious including a gigantic magnolia tree. Kevin is a true arborist in that he is extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of all trees and how they should be trimmed and cared for. He spent a lot of time explaining what had been done wrong in the past with regular tree trimmers and what he would do. We had the work done yesterday to three trees and then extras that weren't even on the order. We are absolutely thrilled with his crew and the care they took with our trees. They have never looked better. I am happy to give Kevin and Arbor Artistry my highest recommendation and will only use them for our trees in the future. read more

Couldn't be happier with our trees after Kevin and his team came! We just moved into our house and had a bit of a forest going. Kevin came in and took the time to talk to me about the trees and give me advice. He is very knowledgeable but also listens to what you want. I liked his passion for trees. When it came time to do the work, they spent two days transforming our home and going above and beyond what we expected. I highly recommend Kevin and his team for your tree needs. read more

I recently had Arbor Artistry trim 3 large trees and a few small fruit trees. This is the 3rd time I've used them for tree services, and every time, they've done a great job! They arrived at my place promptly at the scheduled time. Kevin and his crew are very knowledgeable and helpful. They listened to what I wanted and did the job the way I requested. They also shared a lot of good tips and useful information which I was interested in. They were professional and courteous, and cleaned up well at the end of the job. I highly recommend them. read more

ZERO STARS. Avoid this business! The owner Kevin is nothing 'short' of unprofessional, to say the absolute least. Several other tree services denounce him as well. Citing verbal abuse, not a man of his word, instigating fights (yeah that's right, one spoke of a time when Kevin challenged him to a fist fight and threatened he'd go to the guys house). General consensus is he's an asshole. And I'll vouch for that. When I brought the following to his attention - The guys staff killed my tree - he took zero responsibility, became instantly hostile and threatened me with attorneys and spoke with more anger, foul language and a complete lack of respect than I've ever encountered in my 50+ years. Do yourself a favor and work with another business. There's too many great ones out there to trust than award an undeserving, uncaring and nasty guy like Kevin with your business let alone chance your unreplacable trees etc in his and his staffs hands. Because if any issues arise, you're guaranteed to be treated with disrespect. Your choice, make the right one. read more

When we had to finally face the fact that the drought had destroyed some of our trees, I went on the hunt for a reputable arborist to help us. There was a question about whether to remove or trim trees. One company I talked to was all about removing trees, with no thought to salvaging any of them. That seemed pretty scorched earth to me. After a great deal of searching, I found Kevin at Arbor Artistry. I liked that others had said he was an up front, honest guy with a great deal of knowledge about trees, from where certain kinds would thrive to how best to trim. I called him, told him I had new trees to replace ones that were dead beyond saving, due to be delivered within the week, and asked if he could help us. Not only did he come out the very next day, but he had his crew on site a couple of days later for a full property trim/removal/transplant experience. When you work with Kevin, you know you're working with someone who will bend over backwards to make sure you're a happy customer. His crew is a phenomenal group of guys, easy to talk to and ready to do whatever it takes to do things right. Their's is not a tree trimming company just looking to haul trees out of the ground, though if you are looking for that, they will do it well. Kevin listens to what you want, and counsels on the best course of action, at a reasonable price. He also readily provides his license, proof of insurance, and is a veteran. All in all, if you are in doubt of finding a good tree guy, look no further. He's Kevin at Arbor Artistry! read more

This team of men did an absolutely amazing job on two of my 30 foot trees. They are experienced and full of knowledge, they will NOT butcher a tree. If you want the job done correctly hire them. My 30 foot tree was laced from the inside out. They seriously look like works of art, adding MUCH value to our property. There was 1 negative review, I would disregard it, that is how confident I am about this well done job! Thank you Arbor Artistry for giving us this gift!!!! read more

I'm the owner of Pope Tree Service. A well respected company in the San Diego County area for over 25 years. Kevin and I have worked together on multiple projects through the years. He's one of the good guys. Very professional, extremely knowledgeable and has great guys working for him. The comments from the person who gave the bad review are not in line with person I know and work with. He must have had mistaken which services he used. read more

I just had my entire property taken care of. Trees stumped/trimmed/etc. his team did a fantastic job! Kevin listened to what I wanted & offered advice too. The whole team was great, courteous & helpful. Kevin stayed the entire time, overseeing & helping. After 5.5 hrs of hard work, they did a full cleanup & there was not one branch left behind. I would hire him again in a second & will be referring my friends to him. Thanks Kevin! read more

We've lived in our house for six years and had not had our trees trimmed in that time, so you can imagine how out of control they were. I called Arbor Artistry on the recommendation of a friend, and Kevin got back to me within the hour, had my estimate done within two hours, and he and his crew had the work done in two days. We had three large California Pepper Trees and two Chinese Elms that were so overgrown they were causing hazards to our home and our neighbors. Kevin and his crew were friendly, polite, professional, and did a wonderful job. The trees look great and I will definitely be calling Kevin back the next time we need work done! His prices are fair and competitive. read more

Recently had numerous trees including palms trimmed on my La Jolla property. Excellent job - the best we've ever had in our 26 years in this house. On time: check. Easy to work with: check. reasonable pricing: check. Full clean up: check. All that I was quoted for was done and done very well. Our Chinese elm has never looked better plus Kevin reshaped another tree that a previous trimmer had butchered - and likely saved it. Kevin is very knowledgeable and cares about the health of trees. No need to call anyone else! read more

Kevin recently did a job for me & saved me hundreds of $$$ from these other scandalous large corporate tree trimming businesses. They had additional charges for work that, either was not required, or wasn't going to be done. He answered all my questions, comments and concerns. James M (on the previous post) is correct when he says "Do your homework & verify current certification(s) on other tree trimming businesses." If they just have a State Contractors License, that's not enough for all jobs. For example, I had trees covering in the electrical lines above my house. In order to trim those, the company must have & show proof of proper certification to trim around those high voltage wires. The two prior companies who submitted bids never mention that certification. Kevin did and produced the proper, current documents/certifications. Just ask as many questions that concern what you're requesting. Trust me, if they have any integrity, they'll be honest, fair & should have no problem answering your questions with vigor and confidence. If they don't provide you with logical, reasonable and professional answer(s) from your inquiries, they're probably not legit. Save yourself precious time & call Kevin @ Arbor Artistry. He'll get it done for you. read more

Kevin Bejma, founder & owner of Arbor Artistry has been in this field of work for 30 years. He ran the Tree Trimming Division for the City of Vista for 10 years before opening up his own business. His workers are top notch, from standard trimming to custom cuts, Arbor Artistry gets it done. I've used other tree trimming companies, but they're either too big or too incompetent to listen to what the customer is asking for. So at the end of the day, you're left with their version & not your request. Kevin will answer all your questions & concerns & will double & triple check that his worker's understand what needs to be done. Finally, he is honest & works with integrity. I requested a certain (large) tree be trimmed during the winter months & I knew it would cost a pretty good pennie to have it done. Kevin could have easily charged me to have it done, instead, he gave me a basic education on that particular tree. If he were to trim it in the winter, it would not have survived & would have died by summer. He could have easily charged me to trim it in the Winter, then charged me to remove it in the Summer & finally charged me to plant another one or something similar around Fall & TRIPLED his cost. But he did the right thing. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you, at the VERY least, have Kevin give you a bid. I'm confident he can beat it. Finally, he's a small family, veteran owned business with all the required insurance & updated. "Mandatory" State Certification for certain "special" jobs that require a particular certification. Do your homework and always asked to see the company's current certifications. If they don't have them, they LEGALLY can not perform the work, which could be "neglect" on your part if take them to court later. Kevin's the Man!!!! Call him for a bid at the very least. His work is professional, cost effective with no headaches. Been using him for over 10 years now on my personal home & professional properties. Thank You. James M. read more

I had Kevin come out and give me a quote on some King Palms I needed removed. I had already got a few other quotes from other companies. I told Kevin what the lowest one had been. He didn't even bother to ask me to see the lower quote, just that he'd beat it by $50.00. We set a date for the work to be done. Kevin's crew showed up on time, did the work quickly and professionally and left the area cleaner than they had found it. They even put my potted patio plants back in place before they left. Top Notch! I highly recommend Arbor Artistry. read more

Kevin and crew of Arbor Artistry showed up on time and began their "Artistry" tree work on our 8 pine trees. The attitude of the crew was outstanding. They love tree's! You can really damage/harm your tree's if you do not hire an ISA Certified Arborist like "Arbor Artistry". Kevin answered all of my questions and is well educated/experienced with deciduous and coniferous tree's so it is IMPORTANT that you hire a validated arborist---Arbor Artistry--for professional tree care. I just had Kevin Bejma ( a fully licensed, insured and trained arborist..knows his trade and local flora) from Arbor Artistry trim all the trees on my one acre property. His Team did an outstanding, professional job; the workers (3) arrived every day as scheduled; they labored relentlessly and completed job on-time; they gave me no hassle whatsoever when I requested several modifications to the scope of work; they removed all the tree trimmings and green yard debris; and they effectively cleaned the job site after they were finished. My trees and yard looks fantastic! Kevin gave me a fair price for the 3-day job with no 'up-front' deposit required. He is a man of high integrity and keeper of his word...which is a rare quality today in the 'contractor world'! Plus, Kevin is a US Military veteran which I was glad to support. I would definitely recommend you consider Arbor Artistry if you desire top-notch tree services! Alan V.B. read more
