Called and was informed the third would ship. On 9/6, I e-mailed to request a refund since I still didn't have the third bottle. Was informed the shipment arrived 8/26. Do not buy from this company. I ordered an item and it was "delivered" by Fedex to someones front gate (not mine) and even though we were home AND the phone number supplied during checkout process Fedex failed to call us to come out the front and collect the parcel. Instead they left it at a random front gate, took a photo as proof of delivery and that is now considered "delivered". I reached out to ARBICO but they keep sending the same image as proof of delivery with the item being placed against a random persons front gate and now they fail to reply to emails. I purchased their Triple Threat Beneficial Nematodes in June at a cost of $86.87, which included overnight delivery. They need to be kept cool, so I set a cooler full of ice packs in my delivery box so that they would stay cool. When they arrived, I immediately put them in the refrigerator. The next day I followed the instructions and sprayed them in my garden beds. Two weeks later I sprayed another application in my garden, and I diligently watered EVERY DAY for a month straight to make sure they stayed moist in the soil. They have done NOTHING to kill off any insects at all. There are still grubs, pincer bugs, pill bugs, aphids, beetles, etc. in the garden soil. So I don't think that the nematodes they sold me were viable. They were probably dead on arrival. And, it looked like moisture had gotten into the package that contained the Steinernema carpocapsae nematodes. The outer cardboard cover was totally dry, so that must have happened before they were sent to me. This company does NOT guarantee their nemaodes, so I wasted $86.87 and a whole lot of time and water. So, I do not think that this is a reputable company and I will NEVER buy anything from them again. Next time I will buy nematodes from Buglogical instead and hope that their nematodes are actually alive and viable. In addition, I posted a 1 star review for the Triple Threat nematodes on their website, and they NEVER published it. So, I wouldn't trust any of their reviews. read more

I am a happy customer twice I have mail ordered nemitoads and beneficial bugs. I always call in and get my order in two or three days the blue ice they use was still frozen the day they were delivered. My fungus gnats are all gone The green lace wings are eating the Aphids on my roses. Will order with them again. I have used this company before to control bugs on my Cannibus plants this season the company sent a canister with bran/vermiculite but the beneficial bugs I paid 50 dollars plus 45 dollars in shipping we not on the canister. Not impressed with the tone and professionalism of the manager, Candace. I spoke with Samantha on the phone first, and she was lovely. Long story short, I didn't get my nematode order within the timeframe of what the Arbico Organics website states. I contacted them on 05/19 and was told my order would ship nextday since there was an 'issue' with the nematode batch. It didn't ship. I contacted them the next week, and was told my order was 'lost' internally but would ship tomorrow. I have received my order, but it is the wrong one (Triple Threat 10M instead of 50M).  I order them appropriately according to when it will rain so that the nematodes have the best chance of survival and effectiveness. Fast forward to now, it's June and about to be sunny and 90 for the next 2 weeks. Candace incorrectly informed me that nematodes only need 3-4 days of constant soil moisture. Per the website, "After application, check the application area regularly and water as needed to maintain soil moisture. Generally speaking, water every 3-4 days if rainfall does not occur." This is not the same as what she stated. I tried to correct her to tell her that scholarly articles and research suggest that the soil needs to maintain constant moisture for 7-10 days for best effectiveness - (Kaya & Gaugler (1993); Shapiro-Ilan et al. (2002), Yadav & Lalramliana (2011). I would highly suggest that personnel are educated on specific products as to not provide inaccurate information. If they don't know, THAT'S OK! But they should not provide matter-of-fact information when it is indeed false. read more

DISCLAIMER: My experience is from July 2021 I ordered Phytoseiulus Persimilis to deal with a spider mite infestation. There were very few live insects in the container. I counted approximately 5 dead Persimilis for every live one. Compare this to a batch of Persimilis that I ordered from elsewhere, which was teeming with live insects. I contacted customer service. They were a bit slow to respond. Once I was able to talk to them on the phone, they were extremely helpful and promptly sent me a new order with expedited shipping. I was really pleased with this, and hopeful that the first batch was a fluke. Unfortunately, the second batch was also filled with dead insects. Arbico clearly has quality control issues. Again, my experience with them was in July 2021, so it is possible they have improved since then. read more

I set up a program for Green Lacewings recieving them every couple weeks for I believe three weeks. I never saw one alive. They were shipped in 110° heat and dead on arrival every time. Again, never saw one out of thousands. I wrote that off and later placed an order for another program same setup by weekly for three different shipments 9nly rhis time being predator mites as the lacewings didnt work. Ive recieved whats basically a bottle of gravel for weeks now. Ive never seen any progress ot any slowdown in my spider mite infestation. I ended up just buying lost coast plant therapy to get rid of them as all of these beneficial insects did literally nothing. We purchased the Solar Fly Trap for a common area outdoors in an urban neighborhood. Upon opening the box, we found the material flimsy and not solid quality or visually appealing for a common area with foot traffic. It was summer and we were out of the country so reached out to customer service about 45 days later to return and apologized for the late request and that we had been out of town, also that this was unused with all original packaging. C/S responded plainly and advised of 30 day return window. I emailed again to explain the circumstances and expecting some understanding, and re-emphasizing the product was unused with original packaging. I did not get a response. I tried another week later and copied both the rep that responded, Candice, and the general C/S email, again with no response. I was very tactful in my requests but now warn other buyers, this product was very overpriced ($150 including taxes and shipping) and they have poor customer service. We were struggling with fleas and I didn't want to use any chemicals on my property as I grow vegetables and I asked about getting nematodes for my 1/3 acre lot. They stated that they didn't have the $35 amount for this size lot so I had to buy the $99 which was for an acre. I asked her what I could do with the remainder of the product and she said to reapply it several times after a few days. It fried my St Augustine grass. I also ordered a $13 spray for the dogs which was shipped without the lid being tightened and it spilled out before getting delivered. I am so discouraged with Arbico Orangics. We have used them for 5 years and had outstanding fly predators and great customer service. This year has been anything but good. We have only had 3 batches that hatched, and 9 that have been moldy or did not hatch. It has been horrible and when I have called, they have said "yeah, sorry" Not can we make it better? Can we replace them for you, we know you are a great customer and have never complained in the past. DO.NOT.BOTHER. I called several times over several months to research Fly Eliminators. I finally chose my product, and called because they offer a pay-per-shipment option, but it does not appear on the online order form. Becky, who answered, told me that she processes the online orders, and all I needed to do was write a note, instructions, in the box provided, that I wanted my Fly Eliminator to begin right away (which would have meant they would ship the first month supply on the upcoming Monday), and that I wanted to pay per shipment. I wrote those instructions, and waited. 2 weeks later, nothing had happened. I called. Dave told me my Fly Eliminator program was set to start July 6. I explained the above; he said Oops, and told me he set it right. They were supposed to ship today. I got up, and saw that the card I originally used was declined. I had transferred $$ this weekend, but it had not yet landed in the account. I called. I got Dave again. I gave him another card. I asked him to please run the card so I could be sure these would ship today. He said, "They run those upstairs". A couple of hours later, someone AGAIN tried to debit the original payment method, and of course that was declined. When I noticed this I called AGAIN. I got Becky, and told her the whole story, this time fairly well agitated. She started telling me about a previous charge that went through just fine for mosquito repellant products; a complete dodge of the issue at hand, but it was only ever devised for Becky to get her mojo back. I asked her to focus on the Fly Eliminator part of the order. I confirmed that she understood (who the fuck knows????), and then asked her to confirm that this product would ship TODAY. First words out of her mouth: "If your payment goes through...." Second clown-car stunt: somehow blame the customer. It is all semantics to benefit the rep who dropped the ball in the first place. I ordered beneficial insects online. They delete bad reviews on their products! How telling is that? Only positive reviews on the website. I examined the nematodes microscopically (I am a veterinarian). Not one was moving. They refunded the price, but removed my negative review. They don't want people to know they're spraying on dead nematodes. The package was dated last year and they said it was "the date the package was printed". Why would they date printing the package? Nematodes were priced with 2-day shipping included, but they charged full price for 2-day shipping to add ladybugs. Apparently, they couldn't just put the ladybugs in the same package for free or reduced cost. They weigh nearly nothing. Other items were shipped separately by mail, but arrived the same day, of course, an additional charge for the 2nd package. We ordered 5,000 green lacewings eggs but only a few were viable. The remaining larvae were dead -- they never hatched. We reached out to customer service and they gave us excuse after excuse why the larvae weren't viable. They did not care, nor attempted to resolve the issue which was no fault of our own. We have a houseful of plants so we certainly would've been repeat customers but there is no way I would ever repurchase from this company. Kirsten was pushy on product, impatient, and condescending. The predatory mites didn't work, even though I followed all release instructions, including using a knockdown beforehand. Do yourself a favor and buy a variety of organic sprays to combat pests, and stay away from Arbico, or you'll find a hole in your wallet from unnecessary purchases. I've purchased lacewing eggs from 4-5 different websites with good experiences, so i tried ARBICO to compare. They say that lacewing eggs will ship out mon-Friday so I place my order on a Saturday. I wait the entire next week with nothing, I finally call the next Monday and they tell me my order still hasn't shipped but if I place another order that it will ship the next day. "The system is down" is the excuse that they keep giving me. Problems happen and that's fine, but when you know the system is down and can't fulfill orders correctly but still take peoples money who assume that their order will be filled timely then that is wrong. Once the lacewing eggs arrived, you sure couldn't tell. The 1000 count eggs from other vendors have proven so much more effective. Only went with ARBICO because I though they'd ship quick. I have ordered predatory mites every year from this company that seemed to provide the desired results however, this year my order arrived overheated. The cool pack was hot to my touch and the entire package was too hot for the mites to survive. I paid extra money to ship the package overnight but, apparently that was a waste considering the lack of insulation and cooling media. I called to report the issue only to find out that a person must call within 24 hours AND produce a video of some sort to prove the claim. I'll try the other company next. Inferior product and no product support! I have been successfully using Nematodes to combat "grubs" for over 10 years. This year I changed suppliers and ordered from Arbico .... I lost my lawn to grubs, a $1,500 loss! Arbicos only comment was, You must have done something wrong and we will not give you a credit, coupon or replacement product. As I mentioned, I normally order from another supplier but I was intrigued by their triple threat product, so I ordered from Arbico (a more expensive product). I applied in the rain so they soaked in and we had a wetter than normal Summer (good for Nematodes). I'm new to bio controls and she really made me feel like none of my questions were stupid and took her time to go over everything with me. She also gave me an amazing tip for releasing persimilis onto flowering plants by using Dixie cups or coffee filters spread throughout the canopy to prevent the vermiculite from sticking to the resinous flowers. Almost every summer when the weather is still on the cooler end I introduce the Hypoaspis miles to my houseplants to ensure the dreaded fungus ghats stays put. I have been ordering the beneficial bugs from Arbico since 2015 and while the bugs have been decent to deal with the pesky gnats. However, the order I placed last month was a complete bummer. I don't think I got a single live bug and a month later my house has been overrun by gnats(proof is in the picture included and that's only from one plant :(....I have about 30 indoor plants) I had also ordered another organic gnat control product from Arbico, called SNS 209, which I feel works the opposite of what was promised. Every time I watered the plants with it, the more I see gnats flying. I trusted their product for years and now I am not sure if I will be back. I'm really surprised by the 3 reviews citing poor customer service. That has not been my experience. I've been ordering from this company for over 6 years now and have always received excellent customer service. Everything is always well packaged, timely and if I have questions I can always get a friendly, helpful person on the phone. Never had a single problem in 6 years. I've ordered the fly eliminators, the mantis eggs, lacewings, fly traps and nematodes as well as a few soil amendments. I'm currently using the fly eliminator program for our ten chickens, who's coop is fairly close to the house. Super happy with the results. I think these folks are great. I wish I could buy stock in the company, they're that good! read more
