I really liked him but he left and probably to a better situation. They gave me a new doctor in that office and after seeing her once they informed me she left and canceled any further appointments. I currently have no general care doctor. I still get emails saying I should have certain preventative care procedures done and that they care about my health. I know they care nothing about my health and these are just computer generated messages to try to make money. Also, the office staff are not polite and seem to lack some common sense.

Most medical facilities struggle to keep good reviews because lack of staffing cause long wait times and quick interactions. Secondly, I was shocked that the urgent care wasn't extremely busy and that I was brought into the back within 15 minutes of my arrival. Thirdly, I was so so IMPRESSED with how kind, and just happy my doctor was. I don't meet too many doctors who really strike a cord with me, but DR.KERR was genuinely just such a nice doctor. I was seen for a kidney infection, I knew the symptoms, had experienced them a year before, after a quick urine test he agreed. He said he'd prescribe a tablet to take once a day for 10 days, if I experienced fever to go to the ER. I asked if he knew how fast the CVS right next door would possibly fill that prescription (dumb question-that isn't something most doctors are really going to know, but I have word vomit sometimes) and he said it could take anywhere from an hour to longer. He asked if I ever used them before and I said no. He then said he wanted to give me an antibiotic shot that would at least cover me for 24 hours in case they didn't get the prescription filled that night, which was AMAZING. He didn't have to do that at all. I am so thankful that he did, though. CVS didn't get the prescription filled until late. I went to bed in a lot of pain due to the kidney infection, but that shot did it's job and by this morning I am as good as new!!!!! I'm still going to grab my prescription after work today, because following the treatment plan all the way through is how it gets fixed and doesn't just flare back up in a couple days, but I cannot express how fantastic Dr. Kerr and really ALL of the staff was.

So being without a GP or GYN I came to this location because I feel like I have a kidney infection. The lack of any kind of attempt at human connection in this office is astounding. There's no one to help you with check-in, you're immediately pointed to a QR code where you fill out all of the paperwork yourself. Once the receptionist has that, she points you to a machine IN THE WAITING ROOM to get your vitals. Everything from weight and temperature to blood pressure and oxygen numbers is done by one of those machines you generally see at Walmart that you sit and put your arm in. WTF? That machine prints out a paper that you give to the receptionist. Because I was there thinking I have a kidney infection, she handed me a urine specimen cup, and told me to go into the bathroom, again, in the waiting room. A basket in the waiting room for the collection of your investments already had someone else's specimen in it. With their information on it. I'm sorry but HIPAA who? I then sat back down until called back to go to a room. A nurse didn't come in the room to talk to me or anything. I sent to room 3 to wait. I sat in my room for half an hour, listening to the full exam of a kid in the room next to me because the walls are really thin, before a doctor come in to tell me that because I drink a lot of water, my urine was clear... dilute ... and that it could be an ovarian cyst or even appendicitis, she doesn't know what's causing the pain in my lower back, that I should go to the emergency room to get imagining done and they could tell me what's causing the pain in my back around my kidneys and the malaise. So not only did I just pay my co-pay, but I was also charged an extra fee for urinalysis, something I've never had done before in any doctors office in my life. I walked out feeling like I just wasted my money and my time. If you've got something really simple like a sinus infection, I feel like this would be a good option. But for anything else? I used to really trust Dr. Lorenzo Lopez. He cared for me through seven pregnancies, starting when…read moreI was just 14 and a first-time mom. Back then, he was working at the Women's Center in Reedley, and I continued with him through the years--even after switching to private insurance and later to Medi-Cal. He made an exception for me, and I followed him from Reedley to Clovis. Keep in mind, this office doesn't accept Medi-Cal and never has, but he continued seeing me and delivered three of my children there. He delivered my daughter in 2019 and my son in 2020. But even then, I started noticing issues--like when he missed my daughter's delivery because he was still in the office. A nurse had to deliver her, and his excuse was that he wasn't called in time. In 2022, I became pregnant again, and unfortunately, I miscarried at almost six months. Dr. Lopez saw me only once afterward, with no empathy and no real explanation--just, "You're halfway through; this is what happened." Shortly after, his office called to tell me he would no longer see me because of my Medi-Cal coverage. After all those years and all those pregnancies, I felt completely abandoned. Thankfully, I was referred to UCSF in San Francisco. The drive was long, but the level of care was on a whole different level. They supported me through a surgical procedure during my next pregnancy in 2023, which helped me carry my rainbow baby safely. Later, I learned from my new OB-GYN that being induced in my past pregnancies carried risks that were never fully explained to me. That was hard to hear. I always believed Dr. Lopez had my best interest at heart, but looking back, I question how informed I really was. I do want to acknowledge his medical assistant, she is amazing and so kind. But I can no longer recommend Dr. Lopez. What hurt the most was being dropped after my miscarriage and being told I couldn't be seen anymore because of my insurance, despite being a loyal patient for years. Shame on you, Dr. Lopez. I don't forget where you came from--and I never expected to be treated like that. To anyone reading this: do your research. If you can, look into doctors in the Bay Area or at Cedars-Sinai. It may be a drive, but it's worth it to receive real care. I felt I had to leave this review because a couple of girlfriends recently asked me for OB recommendations--and I gave them my honest answer. Personally, I would feel more comfortable having Dr. Dan Dorough (He delivered my son when Dr.Lopez was on vacation) take care of me than Dr. Lorenzo Lopez at this point. Thank you, Dr. Lopez, for the care you did provide, but also for letting me go when I was at my lowest. I ended up receiving amazing care at UCSF in San Francisco, and today I have my rainbow baby. I called Dr Lopez, he spoke with me on the phone, calmed my nerves and was very empathetic. I went on their website to order some refill. The Fresno medical offices was out of stock of my child's medication. I notified his doctor right away. His staff contacted me via telephone to inform me that I was able to pick it up at an another Kaiser Medical location. They called the Clovis offices and they had the medication in stock for my child. I was able to pick it up the same day I appreciated the staff member of that called me and assisted me by locating a Kaiser pharmacy that has my child's medication in stock overall as highly please with the customer experience I received from the Kaiser staff. The quality of care was excellent.

They also won't pay my ophthalmologist even though he is a preferred provider. My PCP refuses to refill my hormone replacement therapy and told me to go to an OB/gyn. What for? I am 68 years old and I don't need a gynecological exam! Unbelievable.
