The receptionist stated they could not give me an official estimate since their estimators were 3 weeks out but would send me an estimate based on the information I provided right away. I called 3 times requesting this information prior to my appointment 29 Jan 2025 and didn't appear that the estimate would make it prior to my appointment. I stopped checking my email the day before since didn't think an estimate would be sent at this point. After talking to my wife the day of our appointment I called Raven Electric and she mentioned the estimate had been sent. Our time block was scheduled between 10:00 - 1:00 and asked if the technician would be able to finish during this time frame. The receptionist stated she could not guarantee the work could be finished. I let her know we were going to the airport later this afternoon and would probably need to reschedule. I understand time blocks but was just trying to see if she knew when the technician would arrive to complete the work prior to us leaving the house. Raven did send me an email yesterday that had a basic quote but at this point I stopped checking my email since I'd given up on getting the quote prior to our appointment. I did apologize for the late cancelation and asked to reschedule. She abruptly stated canceling just before your time slot is unacceptable and we'd need to find someone else to do business with. I've never encountered a business before that treats customers this way and throughout my interactions with the receptionist even from the beginning had been very terse at best. Afterwards I located other reviews that mentioned scheduling issues, technicians not showing up on time and appointments being lost. That tells me they expect the customer to be understanding with them but any issues on the client side is unacceptable. I definitely believe with this additional knowledge about their customer service issues I've dodged potential problems working with them in the future.

I was really taken aback by his harsh attitude. But they were recommended by a trusted contractor, so I proceeded. He begrudgingly continued to talk to me only after I name dropped. He would not answer questions about trip charges or if they accept credit cards. And then did not show up for the appointment after we waited three hours. They sent me an automated text to detail the appointment time. Then sent me another, nearly identical, automated text the day of to detail the appointment time again. Only this one had a small link to confirm. I did not see this and thought I already had the details. I was preparing for their arrival. I texted a photo of the breaker box the day we set the appointment, as requested. And then I sent a text requesting they text their arrival so I could let them in the secured building. So I didn't "confirm" on there automated link that I didn't see until later, but my text to them clearly confirmed my intentions to keep the appointment with instructions on how to gain access to the apartment. We waited three hours (an hour past the the two hour time block for arrival) and they never showed, they never texted, they never called. Completely unprofessional. I finally texted it was too late in the day for them to arrive. I never heard a word.

Mark and TJ were fantastic technicians! Very knowledgeable and helpful. 5/5 for their work. But the…read moreowner Trey is a cheat! If you have HSA warranty, he will try and scam money from you. What is suppose to happen is when the technician comes to your property to diagnose the issue, they are suppose to upload the info to HSA. HSA will then grant authorization to start the job. Once the job is completed, the plumber is suppose to send the invoice to HSA. Based on the repair, HSA will either pay them or will bill you if it's not covered under warranty. Trey did not upload the diagnosis that was completed 2 weeks ago and had his service tech complete the repair. I called HSA 3 times that day of the repair to ask if I had to pay. They told me that "until he uploads the diagnosis we cannot do anything." So, I asked "then what do I do if they ask for payment once job is completed?" They advised "do NOT pay and explain to them to reach out to HSA." Trey explained to Mark that I had two different work orders 1) for the leak and 2) main shut off valve, saying that HSA will only cover the leak and not the main shut off. That didn't make sense to me because to fix the leak you need to fix the shut off valve. So after the repair was completed, I got on the phone with HSA to confirm AGAIN. Unfortunately, the tech waited with me and eventually left. This was a 4 hour repair. I didn't get to talk to a rep until being on the phone for 1 hour. After I explained my situation, I asked if the diagnosis was uploaded and the rep said "No. We're still waiting for their diagnosis..." That confirms to me that he is trying to double dip or perform fraud. Trey has no integrity. It's sad because I am all for supporting small family local businesses. But Trey is trying to take more money from customers who give up and don't want to handle the guilt. When this was happening, Trey did not call me once. He had his technicians fighting on his behalf. As other reviews have stated, he only communicates through text messaging. I attempted to call him once and he did not pick up or return my call. But texting him, he will respond easily. If you're like me and you have HSA warranty, and they use this plumbing service (because you have no choice), do NOT pay them! What you do is get an HSA rep on the phone on standby when their close to finishing the repair and have HSA tell them that the customer will NOT pay. I saved my family $475. The funny thing is that the next day, the technician (not the owner) called me and said "HSA is covering the costs. So don't worry about the payment." Please be aware and please treat his technicians well. The technicians are hard working and their just following what Trey says. Trey should be handling the issues between customers and HSA but he's having his technicians do it.
