Her demeanor was unfriendly from the start no greeting, no smile, and she looked me over with a slight frown. When I asked about the Arrata brand, she told me they no longer carry it, then directed me to the back area and said the items there were 50% off and that I could check the rack in case something was there. After spending about ten minutes searching, I found an item. At that point she changed her story and said the price on the tag was not 50% off and that it was full price. This was completely different from what she originally told me. My family and I have shopped here before, so this experience was disappointing and unprofessional. I came specifically to purchase a Mother's Day gift, and the lack of courtesy, clarity, and consistency made the visit unnecessarily frustrating. After I found my conditioner I started to peruse their massive selection of fragrances, which I honestly did not realize they carried. I asked Laura what her favorite fragrance was and she shared about six different perfumes with me that were all unique and chic - she was super familiar with so many of the choices which I appreciated. That was unrealistic thinking because there are just too many individual products and brands, I suppose. The store is beautiful and is minimalist in design and which gives clean vibes and natural energy. There are a multitude of glass containers to buy and products can be poured in from larger containers, with very reasonable prices for the products themselves. The store smelled wonderful with their soaps in the bins doing the talking. I chose not to purchase anything because for me, it would mean abandoning the brands I love to take a chance on entirely different products that I just wasn't willing to make a leap for. I get that their products are more natural with less chemicals, which is a great thing. But for me, I will keep on the lookout for someday finding a store that refills brand name products to reduce the plastic waste in my environmental footprint.
