A colleague was in town for meetings from Brussels and so ended up coming here in his company so we could have a working dinner. We came here as were told the staff had no issues with splitting bills, which in some restaurants here in NL, you just can't do.
This place got busy pretty quickly for a weeknight and so reservations are definitely recommended! We were shown to our table and started discussing work but unfortunately our table was quite close to a date night couple and so that dynamic was....interesting(?) as they were also speaking in English if lovey-Dover stuff and then there we were, speaking of work.
Anyway, our server got us the amuse bouche which consisted of lovely dip and a cucumber salad (great tart dressing in this one) and some lovely soft pita bread. I was hungry and so scarfed this down and because it was a fair while (25 minutes I reckon?) Before our meal came out, requested the server to being out some more of the dip, which he did.
For the main, I got the Machaoui (€23.50) which was a mixed grill consisting of chicken and lamb. I though this dish had clean bold flavors and I really liked how well cooked the meat was.
But my colleague's dish was enormous and truly good value for money - he ordered the Tajine with vegetables (€ 16.50). I didn't taste the dish, but he said it was pretty decent! For drinks I got a Ginger ale (€2.50) and it was super small and didn't like the taste that much.
When we left, there was a bit of an issue with our coats - they don't have a system and took some time to find ours and we were rushed as the Uber was waiting for us.
Overall pretty good food and decent service, so wouldn't mind coming back again.
