I stopped by Arabella Park Beer Bar on a Thursday evening and it was busy! The atmosphere was lively and the outdoor patio area was large enough to accommodate many people. You place your order inside at the bar for both beer and food. I like that the beers and prices are displayed above the bar. All of the servers were super personable and worked hard to make sure everyone got their drinks quickly. I ordered the Honey Ginger Chicken Sandwich, which was really tasty and made with homemade ingredients (I love the spicy pickles!). This is a great place to go for drinks! read more

Cozy beer bar in Kitchener's Belmont village. Awesome beer list with local Ontario brews on tap and occasionally out of province or country. The staff are great with tidbits of knowledge and tasters to help you pick the perfect brew. Theres a snack menu with some great beer pairings including the dill fries (with hot peppers) and halloumi tacos. The kitchen serves up some serious flavour. A great spot to relax with a cold one, try a series of local treasures or have a bite. read more

Arabella park is nestled inside Belmont Village. There's a good amount of parking available and if you're not familiar with this area, just be very very cautious when driving! I came here with a friend after hearing about the wonderful reviews to check things out. The foodie in me was excited for a sensational experience. Upon walking in, the whole beer menu is written on the wall. It's actually a very nice concept. It's a beer bar, they serve beer and lots of it. If you're not a beer person, they do have one or two ciders on tap as well. My review today will solely be on food itself however - I'm not a big beer drinker, so this was a slight miss for me. Ambiance was awesome. Decor was minimal, and comfortable. The patio was very nice! Just watch that you don't lean too far back on the benches. They move slightly, but I didn't want to risk breaking the chair. You order from the bar. They bring the food out to you and are very very kind and attentive. A+ for service! They had very few menu items available. Monday is hot dog special day, so they do a few different toppings for it. Somewhat mediterranean-esk feel to it. We ordered the lamb kofta that came with a chimichurri sauce - three pieces. The lamb was good but slightly dry. This is my first time having a kofta so i don't know if it's suppose to be like that. The chimichurri lacked a little flavour though. Also had the bread and butter as a safe option to share. Nothing to special about it. Butter with salt and a tint of sweetness... very thinly sliced and toasted baguette. If I were to come back again, I'd try another dish. From what I understand, their menu changes constantly. Menu this time around was a miss for me, but maybe the next would be better? Or, I'll just order a few more dishes to make a better judgment. read more

My girlfriend and I went here while I was up visiting her. Neither of us can drink alcohol for differing medical reasons, so we came for the food. I have moderate sensory issues, but I would've been fine inside. As it was, we sat at one of the picnic tables. Service was amiable and efficient. You order and pay at the bar inside, then find a table with your drinks. (Unfortunately, they didn't have much non-alcoholic, so we got water.) We each got a burger and split an order of fries, which came with some of their excellent house-made ketchup and aoili. We enjoyed all, though my patty had a bit of a hard time staying together. All in all, we recommend this place and intend to go again. read more

If your looking for an interesting beer that you won't find just anywhere - you have found your spot. This place has a very minimalist millennial aesthetic with a bold blue wall announcing their constantly rotating taps. Order at the bar - both food and beer. Patio is great when the suns out - you won't even mind that it's in the parking lot. Can be busy in the evenings but really chill place to hang out most of the time. read more

Good beer selection, horrible customer service. Consistency of cooking mid rare between the two burgers we ordered were visibly different. Wouldn't recommend burgers as they come rare with bunch of fat. You have to talk to two different waitresses and trying to be convinced that it is the right way to cook a burger before being offered a solution. Wouldn't recommend for food. read more

First time here. We went with some friends, and we all had a good time. 18 draught options, all of them were craft local brews, 2 of them were hard cider. They have a small food menu, there are no real servers like a restaurant would have, you just walk up to the bar and order drinks and food off the bar tending staff, and they'll bring food to your table when it's ready. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. The seating area is a mix of padded benches on the walls, and "picnic table" style tables in the middle; it fills up fast in the small-ish space. The food was great and the beer selection was great. It was a good time. Will be back. read more

The selection of beer is always incredible, I believe they change it every month. The inside is decorated beautifully with lots of plants, so there's a general relaxing atmosphere that surrounds this place. The food I've had so far has been amazing as well, the nachos, dip, the burgers, etc. Overall, this is top 5 favourite places in KW. - they also have parking! read more

Lunch on the patio - perfect. They have taken over most of the parking lot so the tables are well spaced, most in the shade but there are sunny ones of that is what you want. It opens at 2 and the four of us were first and when we left at 3:30 or so it was nearly full on a Friday. Great mix of people, a couple of families, some young couples, some guys. You get a paper menu, choose what you like mostly burgers with a "beyond patty" option. Arabella Park is a great place to be whether it be a lunch or grabbing drinks, and it's in the very charming Belmont Village! The servers really have a good understanding of the IPAs they serve and how they taste in relation to the food items, which is super helpful. Their food is absolutely delicious- although I'd recommend ordering a few items if you're hungry since the portion sizes are small (but the price reflects this!). The new place to go in Waterloo if you like craft beer. Some beers are more expensive than others so what they do is make the pints differing sizes so that the prices are all around $7 each. Great food we got fries and burgers. Bartenders know their stuff, pours were all great. Will be back, way too often this summer. read more
