Came here for lunch as we were exploring the Appian Way around 1:30pm on a Sunday. We didn't have a reservation but quickly got seated. The location is built in an old farmhouse and is very quaint. There is a parking lot. There's indoor and outdoor seating. Credit cards are accepted. The food was delicious. The carbonara had a great texture, the brick chicken was tender and juicy, the pappardelle came with a tasty bolognese, and the fettucine ale cicale di mare (a type of shellfish) was my sister's favorite dish of Rome. We ended the meal with tiramisu, which was somehow light yet still decadent.
Our waiter Daniele was impeccable. He was kind and checked in on us periodically. He also spoke good English, which was nice given that the restaurant seemed to cater more towards locals (as evidenced by how pizza was only served in the evenings). We had a very enjoyable meal overall and vibes all around were good. read more
