This is a review on the Window Tinting service from the other gentleman that works there--Francisco. First, I should say that Adrian (the owner) is a cool guy. I knew about this place because I needed a Interlock Device installed here & it was Adrian who installed it. There were no problems. He installed it perfectly & took it out perfectly. It was this time where I was curious in getting my windows tinted. Adrian did a fantastic job with everything, so I thought the same would be extended to the guy does the tint. At first, I was thrilled with my tint (got it done at the end of July). Since I don't roll down my windows, I followed his instructions to not roll them down for 2 days (he said). Everything was fine, until I started to see debris (i.e. lint, hair, dust) between the film & the window glass. This was weeks after I got the tint. I wash & wax my car myself, so I notice EVERYTHING & started to see additional small specs of dust that formed small (didn't notice these until after the first replacement)., CALL ME CRAZY! But, when you pay for a service ( a service I did not try to haggle--he gave me a price & I respected him enough to not try & talk him down), you expect the service to be done WELL & properly. After noticing these things, I went back to him & showed him the debris on the two windows I saw the most imperfections on & asked if this was normal (weeks after) & he said he would do it again & for me to come back at a later date. I did. He did it free of charge despite passive aggressively joking that I get bothered by the slightest imperfection. AGAIN! I am paying for a service. After those two were replaced, I thought everything was fine, but noticed that there were other imperfections on the other two windows. I should also note he ACKNOWLEDGED the debris & imperfections, so he was & is aware of his subpar work. I go back two Fridays ago & ask what can be done about this. This whole time I am courteous & cordial to this man & never came across as rude. We talked about when would be the next time he could get out the debris or replace the film, we agreed on next Friday. We both agreed next Friday at 9am! Friday came (the Friday before Labor Day), I am there at 9am! He sees me & I walk towards him & he asks me if I made an appointment...He never said I had to call & follow up to make an appointment. This is when I get pissed because now he's deliberately trying to get out of fixing his subpar work! If he is unable to do a clean install why not state that from the very beginning?! He says his guarantee doesn't cover small debris or small bubbles, but he NEVER said this from the beginning. After giving me attitude & being aggressive towards me because I APOLOGIZED for keep coming back & coming off as difficult, but explained I did not like his work; He then tries to have me come another date...which I was fine with. I just wanted my windows done correctly. I did not want to come back this often. Had he done his job right the first time, there would be no issue. He decided to quickly remove (some of the debris). I would have been fine with this until I got home & saw he did not install my door panel correctly. It is no longer attaching to the slot it needs to; therefore, when you pull on it, you can see it wasn't put on correctly & therefore loose. This was not like this before as the car is a new lease, so I know it was him as he's the only person I have been to. Had he just taken the time to install it CAREFULLY one last time, I could have been out of his hair, but he CHOSE to not put my door panel correctly, haphazardly, & broke something as the door panel won't clip back on! Coincidence? I am pissed! He is upset because I wanted him to redo his work because if he had been up front with me about the debris & the air bubbles that don't go away due to dust he got on the film, & chose to take it out on my car by not scratching & breaking clips. I am not going back to him to have him re-do it because he has proven that his ego is too small for criticism. If he was aware of these things, he should have been upfront about it & I would have just gone somewhere else & not keep these vital things from me so that he can get my money first. I should have just got it done at the dealership at the premium price because they are actual professionals who can at least stand by their work & not give attitude or purposefully & knowingly messing with the door panel. You don't damage a customer's car because you get called out for subpar work. YOU DON'T F*** WITH SOMEONE'S CAR LIKE THAT! read more

Came to this shop a 2 years ago and Adrian helped me out. He did an amazing job fixing my system in my car.I guess the amp went out. He tested it and was able to tell me that it was bad and needed replacement. There was a hissing sound also. I had bought an amp off offer up and came back another day.Adrian ran new wires to the amp I had and he hooked everything up. My system sounded really good. No more hissing sound when I accelerate. He only charged me like $40 or $60.00 for the labor which I thought was a deal. I also took him the car like 9 months later because one of fuses blew for the red cable that's in the engine . He replaced the fuse and only charged me $20.00. This was another great deal. I will continue to come to this place. Adrian knows his stuff and is honest and reasonable. read more

Worst install I've ever seen done.! The install didn't even last 19days & the main fuse in my car was blown by them as a single father working 2 jobs not cool.!! Then took it back to give him a second change at fixing his mistake & yet he wired it the exact same way & didn't double check anything which was asked of him to do then hours later the amp blew from being starved from power ended up take the car to stereo city to see Jose & manny.! They took me in on short notice. Had to gut all the wiring & start from scratch do to the poor(sh*tty) work quality.! Definitely wouldn't recommend this place.! I went to AR Auto Sound after doing my research: Auto Sound places have a trust factor like a used car dealer with their own financing. Like a Sociopath with Roofies in his pocket, don't take your eyes off your drink! After calling several stereo shops, I settled on a 4 Star Auto Sound place that wasn't AR Auto sound. I took photos of the products I wanted and left with a qote because I still wasn't ready to pull the trigger and buy... Shortly thereafter, I stopped by AR to see what he would offer me. Based on my star-score, you can see I was VERY SATISFIED with what AR Auto Sound offered me for a higher quality sound system versus the "other" place. AR quoted me higher quality speakers, without me disclosing what the other shop quoted me, $25 under the "other" guy. I knew this deal was a go! Called store on Monday the the 19th of April gave shop owner a full rundown of what I had to have them install. Was very thorough on explanation it was a full system double din, rear camera, 2 sets door speakers, a sub, and 2 amps. Had wiring for sub amp already. Was made a appt for 9am on 4/22 came in and my job was immediately put behind a alarm job he ripped some guy off for. Owner came out examined everything and said lets go get a estimate for you. Already walking back in I knew what was about to happen. None the less we went in and boom immediately just the 2 numbers I heard for wiring for sub and door amps exceeded my full price that was given over the phone. Owner was in awww when I had our call recorded for assurance I wouldnt get ripped off. The guy gives you a good price over the phone and screws you when you show up. Taking my business elsewhere and def would not recommend this shop. Probably does great work and if was told real price would of still came and had work done but since he blatantly lied ill choose another shop to give my business to. read more

This review is for both audio and tinting services here. Adrian handles the audio, Francisco handles the tinting. The tinting was done extremely well. No bubbles, frayed edges, peeling, rolling, or anything out of the ordinary. On top of that a warranty is included, just keep the receipt! The audio was also done extremely clean and professionally. All wires hidden, everything properly crimped, no steps were skipped, and everything turned out great. It took a while for Adrian to finish up my system seeing as how the previous installer messed some things up, but he handled regardless without complaint. He spent extra time fixing the car and I felt like I got an excellent value out of both his and Francisco's services. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone interested in audio or tinting. Just know that if you leave your car here, expect the service to take at least a few hours since both of them are usually busy. However being busy means their services are top notch and in my opinion it's worth the wait and definitely the money. read more

I had some issues with my Compustar alarm system on my wife's car after trying to do a new PTS secure takeover upgrade from the original install from 3 years earlier. That option wasn't available then. The original installer and Compustar Pro dealer wasn't able to resolve my problems. Compustar referred me here which is a Compustar Pro dealer. Went AR auto sounds today to get my 2 front windows tinted. Asked the gentleman how long it would be, he told me no more than 45min. It's 107 degrees outside! He told to go get a bite to eat and be back by 1:30 and we did. We got back right around 1:25. Pulled and asked if we were next he said yes just park the car and they would get started on it. We waiting in side the AC shop at 2:30 I came outside to see the progress only to find the tint guy eating a burrito and my car was just sitting there!!!!!! so from 12:45 to 2:30 I completely wasted my time. we couldn't wait any longer we needed to pick up my daughter from school. thanks AR for wasting my DAY OFF in heat!!! After wasting my money at a different ghetto shop, Adrian at AR Autosounds hook all the wiring out that was done incorrectly and hooked everything up correctly.
