Horrible Experience at Valley Clinic in Bergenfield!…read more I had a horrible experience at Valley Clinic in Bergenfield when I brought my sick daughter in for medical care. First, the receptionist took an extremely long time to check us in, even after I provided my insurance information. When I expressed my frustration about the delay, he seemed unwilling to help me and called another staff member, who then asked me for the exact same information all over again. After providing the information again, my daughter was taken into a room, and her temperature was checked. The reading was 100°F. About five minutes later, a physician came into the room and told me my daughter's temperature was 107°F. I do not believe this was an accurate reading, and I felt that I was being given false information about my daughter's condition. The physician then told me that my daughter needed further evaluation in the emergency room. The entire experience left me feeling dismissed, disrespected, and as though my daughter was not receiving the proper attention she deserved. I had insurance and came to this clinic seeking medical care for my sick child, yet I left feeling that my concerns were not taken seriously. I decided to leave and take my daughter to AM/PM Urgent Care in Bergenfield, where we were attended to right away without any problems. I am extremely disappointed with the staff and physician at Valley Clinic. The slow check-in process, repeated questions, and conflicting temperature readings made this an upsetting experience. No parent should have to go through this when seeking medical care for their sick child. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this clinic. The staff and physicians need to demonstrate better communication, professionalism, honesty, and compassion toward patients.

The admin staff here are under educated over paid union employees that think they can speak to people in any manner they wish. The appointment system they have is 10 steps past archaic. I you want to get regular therapy for your kid at the same time each week you would have a better chance having an ongoing conversation with a burning bush. the mngmt there has no balls to put the staff in check. Doctors will tell you to go get an appoint in two weeks then the "staff" tells you nothing for a month. This place is a joke. It wont be long before people start going to the ADA about this outfit.

My glucose was never regulated while she treated me. It's important to see an Endocrinologist for diabetes. GP's don't stay up to date with treatments. I have no diabetes, my osteoporosis has been stopped, but now I have stage 3, non-alcoholic cirrhosis because of her poor care. You may think you're getting the best care, but you are not. Was told to fast (lack of review of previous records); then told it wasn't necessary by her seemingly bored PA. A new CBC administered (after private discussion between MD & PA. A complete physical involves EKG, checking for any glandular conditions, ears, throat (none given). Have always had all from previous physicals. Dr.Zeveloff seemed totally bored with issues that were my concern and felt she couldn't wait to exit on to the next patient. There was absolutely no one-on-one as a new patient to get to know me. When my so called "exam" was over, the PA said in the hallway "see you in 6 months" but no visit to front desk to possible schedule. (please do not send me your carbon copy of apology letter as I have already seen it on other disappointed reviews)

She takes the time to listen to all of my concerns and always gives me answers to every question in a easy to understand way without making me feel like I'm asking stupid questions.
