I have been seeing Dr. Mudry since 2020. I wasn't feeling well and Dr. Mudry came recommended by my mom. I am SO happy I listened to my mother because Dr. Mudry is amazing. She is thorough, attentive, and always made me feel like I was being listen to and heard. I never felt rushed during my sessions. She answered every question I had and always responded quickly if I messaged through the patient portal. To say I am sad about her no longer being at Summit Health is an understatement. Dr. Carolyn Mudry is one of the most compassionate caring Drs. that I know. She spent a lot of time in the hospital answering all my questions and calming my fears. I have been really happy with Dr. Mudry's services up until recently when I visited to consult about an overseas trip and the proper vaccines. She agreed that the Typhoid vaccine was worth pursuing, but when I asked for a prescription, she said she wasn't comfortable providing it? I am not sure why I came in for a $50 consultation just to be directed to Passport Health Clinic when she could have written me a prescription for the very thing she agreed was important to protect against: Typhoid! I told the receptionist that my schedule won't allow for waiting for an appt at Passport Health, not to mention their overblown prices. Everyone else attending this trip has gotten a rx from their GP and gotten it filled at the local pharmacy without issue. I wish I had saved myself the hour of time and $50 and gone to a different GP for this. It's a shame, because ordinarily I really like Dr. Mudry. Very disappointing. read more
