I was definitely pleasantly surprised! They were so quick & responsive & efficient! Incredible. Did the online training and live training with Jeremy & Yuraisi - they were so great and I can't believe it but I actually learnt a lot and had fun in this training! Have done certifications like this every two years but honestly this is the best one I've had! The online portion was surprisingly good too and interactive and useful. Thank you!

Rosalia & Katherine were wonderful in keeping us on topic and making the training session engaging. Getting hands-on training along with the course material helped give me confidence in applying what I learned here out in the real world. Thank you for keeping it to the point and making it as pleasant an experience as one could giving the subject matter.

I love that the Red Cross has the option to do half online at home and do the hands on training in person.

oh my god, where do i begin. if you are reading this and you thinking why is she yelling (all caps)…read morethat's because i am. i am a single woman raising 3 children with the youngest being just 9 years old. first let me say this, if you are lazy, or weak. this course is not for you. i repeat, this course is not for you. this will even make you cry and question your choices. however, yes i did cry a couple of times. but sarah literally took me under her wings and reassured me that i can do it. and that i indeed made the right choice by one going to the school and choosing emt as a new career. sarah really helped get through it. thank you much sarah. you are one of the best instructor i have ever had. to mr. ben aka "benny" the school director, thank you so much for listening and watched me break down in the office and still told me "you can't give up now" and i did not. marysol thank you for not giving up on me with my 1 million questions. mr. lawrence thank you for being tough on me, i will take that with me to pa school. i appreciate it. to all the other instructors, thank you. to the phenomenal executive assistant, ms toby... you are an amazing young lady and thank you so much for being prompt with answering my 2 millions emails a day, always so polite and very professional. don't plan nothing for the next month or so, this requires lots of studying. but if you are doing your part, you will succeed. they will answer any questions, spend that extra time with you to explain things, will even come in on their days off to go over the hands on skills with you. lastly, if this is what you want, make the time, have a plan when it comes to studying and be very strategic. plan, plan, plan. i one million percent recommend this school to anyone who is willing to put the work in and some tears and sweats. :) and some elbow grease :) god bless:) your future pa....

I am currently taking the EMT Original 139 accelerated course with this agency, and the academic…read morestructure is phenomenal, with online learning and interactive lectures. Marisol, Benny, and Ze are the best instructors while Patrick Meyers is not so good. Instructor Patrick Meyers who is new to B&H the last two days has not been able to get fully through the complete chapters on time. Patrick has shown a little disrespect towards me while showing his dislike of me by disregarding my comment when he asked what some kinds of airway obstructions and I listed Hyperoxia, and he never acknowledged my comment to confirm or deny if that was one but he did acknowledge everyone else's response. Later in the day, when discussing airway assistive devices, I asked if NPA's are required to be sterile, and Patrick chose to address two other students' questions first when I asked my question before everyone else. Regardless if he likes me or not Is moot because I really don't care enough about his petty behavior. Some other issues I have are the lack of organization during class, there are 31 students in this class, and when answering or asking questions, students are over-talking one another because they are not raising their hand, and it's very distracting while showing a lack of regard for classroom etiquette. As per the course schedule for this class, we were supposed to have our first quiz on chapters one through 5 today, but because other students are not prepared and don't have the materials, the students who are prepared, like myself have to pay the price, and now we will have two quizzes on Monday instead of one which is not fair at all. B&H and its EMT course need some restructuring regarding testing procedures and communication adjustments. I sent an e-mail on Tuesday August 12th a day after the first day of class and I had requested promises to be swapped out of this accelerated EMT program and into the non-accelerated program that starts in October after realizing that between work, attending college and attending this class Monday through Thursday from 9:00 to 5:00 I'm having a hard time finding study time and am struggling to retain and process some of the information as a result of that. I have not received an email from B&H in almost 48 hours, and there is nothing in the contract that I signed regarding the payment of the program that says I can be switched to another program or cannot. It is often very hard to get a hold of anyone from this office, whether you're calling them or sending an email, and I am not the first person to say this. Despite these minor operations and testing issues, which are fixable, B&H is one of the best training locations to take your EMT Original Course in NYC!

My time as a Head Start Teacher required a lot of training and preparation. I went to this training…read morecenter for training in CPR, safety and first aid, nutrition and many other subjects. As added information I want those to know about the program. Head Start is a government program that provides early childhood education, health, nutrition, and parent services to low-income children and their families. It is the oldest and largest program of its kind. The program's services and resources are designed to foster stable family relationships, enhance children's physical and emotional well-being, and establish an environment to develop strong cognitive skills. A child's transition from preschool to elementary school imposes a variety of developmental challenges that include requiring the children to engage successfully with their peers outside the family network, adjust to the space of a classroom, and meet the expectations of a school setting. As a Head Start Teacher I made home visits and also was involved with other aspects of the children's well being like nutrition and basic reading writing and math. I really enjoyed taking the class on field trips to give them the opportunity to visit places like the zoo, fire station, library and more. Naturally we had to raise our own funds to take them on field trips. That's how I met my future husband at a fundraiser. My experience with Head Start was a great time in my life. Maybe you can visit a classroom and do some volunteer activities. The families and teachers need all the help they can get. When I moved back to NYC I attended this center hoping to revive my career with Head Start. I received all of my certificates once again. My photo is when I worked in Head Start in Kentucky.

However, I decided to give him the benefit of the doubt since I had just met him. That all changed though when we started the class and he unprofessionally yells at my classmate for being unsure of an answer. We thought we came to learn but the teacher made it clear we were there to be his personal outlet for whatever he was going through. Would not recommend, please for your own sake go somewhere else.

Stay away from this business and if you must interact with this business avoid contact with Leah…read moreshe engages in deceptive, bias and bait and switch business practices. She/this business will likely waste you time in the end.... I have been a licensed HHA since 2019 by the Department of Heath and currently attend college for Social Work and am a 4.0 college student and without a doubt dodged a bullet with potentially being trained with inaccurate information and or not all of the pertinent information as it pertains to the classes. If a program fails to provide basic pertinent information such as their will be a quiz during this orientation/ interview what else are they gonna leave out... That's dangerous and creates unprepared and potentially misinformed future EMT's I was invited to attend the Senior Care sponsored EMT program Orientation/ Interview in February of 2025 it was never mentioned that I would have to take a test and upon taking that test I scored a 9/10 and was invited to continue to interview with Senior Care on another day which it was never mentioned that their is a two part interview. I ended up getting covid and was unable to attend that second interview and had sent an email and requested to reschedule that second interview however, nobody replied to me. I signed up for the next sponsored orientation and was invited to attend again Thursday, May 22nd, 2025 and attended. There was no mention yet again that I was required to take the same test that I took last time I came in less than 6 months ago, Obviously I was not aiming to score high on the same test I was aiming to simply pass which I did and got a 7/10 not knowing that that this program does not accept those that score 8 or lower which I found out literally yesterday after I pressed Leah for the truth on the phone yesterday which is bias. Upon speaking to Leah on the phone yesterday I wanted to follow up and see if they would be letting me in this sponsored class and explained to her why I scored low and to advocate for myself to start the conversation off she stated " why did you call us for this you could have sent an email" I felt like saying well i would have if you guys had replied to my last one but kept it to myself. Long story short she stated that we do not accept people into the program who score 8 or below. I argued that passing is passing and that my college GPA and my healthcare experience should trump that exam which is logical and practical argument she indicated that they would not accept and being very cloak and dagger and I asked flat out are you accepting me into this program yes or no and she stated no. My time and money was wasted traveling from Far Rockaway. This program has no respect for my time at all but in the end I do not want to be associated with with a program that engages in the shady and bias business practices but in the end it worked out for the best. A snake will always be a snake no matter how many times it sheds its skin.........
