My course was approximately…read more6.5 hours long, however I learned so much from our instructor Moises who has extensive experience as an EMT. The instructors are great and knowledgeable and we received our certificate and completion card immediately. The facility has all the necessary equipment to conduct the course and also sells various first aid and AED equipment. The owner of the Company, Scott also was very nice and talked to me about the various products they have for sale. I highly recommend going to SafetyNJ for your certification needs and for emergency supplies.

I've taken eight classes for my annual 8 hour training with Liberty. The training is okay, but the…read moretwo white instructors I had insisted on injecting their political views on the class whereas the two Black instructors did not. The first instructor I had was a middle aged White guy who kept saying, "Vote for Trump, Vote for Trump." This was before Trump even ran for President. He talked more about his Fox News sounding political views than the course material. The second white instructor I recently took the course with was a 67-years-old retired detective who declared, "There is no more racism since we had a Black President." I kid you not. This old guy also repeated many of Fox News greatest hits: Blame everything on the BLM riots, the open border, the Gays and transgenders, etc. He claimed "insider" knowledge about the horrific police killing of Tyre Nichols suggesting that Mr. Nichols took the cops on a high speed chase and that the media has an agenda against cops. I wouldn't say this conservative instructor was racist, just delusional. The two Black instructors (also retired law enforcement) simply taught the course material. They told personal stories, but for the most part they kept their personal political views to themselves. Hopefully this is the last year I need this course. Sheesh.

These guys do this for a living and hence, have a knowledge base beyond that of the typical certified instructor. I worked with Thomas who in addition to being a Paramedic is also a Long Island Fireman so, what you get are individuals who are able to fill the gaps with real-life experiences rather than Text-Book responses. This program is ideal to keep your certifications up to date or to become a certified lifeguard. However, if you plan on working as a New York City Lifeguard (Rockaway, Coney Island, Orchard Beach, Staten Island) or Federal - Lifeguard (Jacob Riis Park, Queens; Great Kills Park and Sandy Hook, New Jersey), you may want to check first before taking their classes....to the best of my knowledge, you will be required to take the challenge exam despite already being certified through them. Nevertheless, they are a good organization to get your certification(s) from. Thomas took me to the fire-house to demonstrate proper usage of the O2 Tank, BVM including the use of the EMI Emergency Oral Airway Kit. They were clearly knowledgeable and knowledgeable beyond the typical text-book instructors and I therefore highly recommend this group.

He…read morehugged Miss Lily on the first day he started because Miss Lily, like the rest of the staff, is warm and genuine and make the kids feel at ease right away. I was also impressed by their approach to tackling the bi-lingual aspect and teaching the same curriculum in the morning in English and in the afternoon in Spanish or French, which helps them avoid mixing and confusing the two languages. My son was in the Spanish-English track and picked up so much of the Spanish in such a short period. I love how warm and inviting the space is and how extensive the resources are. It feels like nothing is lacking, and the kids have access to all of what Montessori offers. Atelier de la casa is also makes a point to take the kids to the local playground when weather permits, which was very important to me since I don't want my son to be confined to one space and a backyard for a full day. We are taking a short break for family reasons are the moment but can't wait to have Neo rejoin in a couple of months.
