Increase beginning April 2021 and now another starting January 2022.

Another increase this year...$25 more per month going forward!! Unfortunately, I don't have another option or choice. 17.8% increase!!!! This is not what is told when you sign up.

Attending aqua tech started off great and then it became very disappointing. We moved to the area a couple years ago and welcomed a baby boy last summer. We have a pool at our home and decided that a pool gate may not be enough safety. So we decided to look at infant swim classes in the area for extra precautions. When googling we found that AquaTech had a deal on Groupon for 4 classes. We bought the Groupon and then contacted AquaTech through email for booking the set of 4 classes. (Since I'm home with a baby and working, it's hard to talk on the phone. Emails and texts can be easier since I can get to it once I have time.) It seemed to be a no brainer over email. I provided the Groupon info like they asked and I was told to then create a "customer portal". I created the Log In and proceeded with booking the 4 classes. Of course it requires a credit card on file. As a hairdresser myself, I understand that. We completed the 4, 30 minute classes and enjoyed it! Once we were leaving our 4th class, we spoke to someone at the front desk ensuring our Groupon would be used versus the credit card on file. I had received a text about the "monthly billing cycle". A few days later I received voicemails and emails explaining that the Groupon WOULD NOT be validated. I could "give to a friend or use on another sibling." I don't have another child, and no friend of mine wants to come here to use a Groupon and end up in the same situation. What kind of friend would I be by telling them what happened to us, but go ahead try it?? Yeah go ahead! Put your card on file and get charged twice? No thanks! We payed AquaTech $40, $140 We payed Groupon $68.40 Total 248.40 for 4 classes As a new mother I'm learning what to do with your infant, so I thought maybe trying swim class would be a good idea! Especially through Groupon. What if my son hates it? Or if he loves it, I'd come back for another 4! Just saying. You lost a future client. So be aware of this scam. I find it absurd to charge an infant that amount for 4 classes. Below I will attach all photo for proof.

Coach Fio, Ryan, and Devon have been incredibly patient, encouraging, and kind with our kids. And Conor, the manager, truly sets the tone. He goes above and beyond to make families feel supported and welcomed, and it is clear he genuinely cares about each child's experience. Our kids can be tough customers and there have been plenty of lessons where they did not want to get in the water at all. The team never gets frustrated or makes it feel like a problem. They stay patient, meet the kids where they are, and keep the focus on helping them feel safe, comfortable, and happy. What we appreciate most is that they make learning fun while still teaching real water safety and swimming skills. That balance is not easy, and this team does it so well. We are very grateful for the care, consistency, and heart they bring every week. Highly recommend Splash Swim School, especially this Walnut Creek team.

The tools in the wood shop are great, and the instructors really know their stuff. What's more, those guys sure know how to keep a sharp edge on their equipment. Tuition is, in my opinion, up to what one would expect to pay in today's economy, especially considering that everyone is scrambling for cash to stay afloat, even the local government and its affiliated programs. The registration process on the archaic website is a touch on the byzantine side, though. It looks a lot like the very first website I ever coded when I was 16 years old. Uhh, now that I think about it, it looks like the website I designed a few years ago. But I'm no web designer, so hah! Point being, you're gonna have to dig around a little bit to find what you're looking for, but once you've found it, the actual act of registering for a class is pretty straightforward. Now, back to the woodworking instructors: Between the Bill and Dave, they've got about 70 years experience, 20 fingers, 20 toes, and 8 eyes (they both wear glasses). So I trust them to teach me the ways. I don't know if I'll ever be able to snatch the pebble from their hands, but I'm confident that they're showing me how to keep all my phalanges and body parts so that I could snatch that pebble, even if only in theory. I plan on taking many more courses here, especially in the "Working with Wood" category of classes. Now go forth and learn something new!
