The portions were huge, especially the turkey club. All the food was above average. The service was lovely and the decor is quaint.

This place was so good that we decided to visit a second time just a week after our very first…read morevisit! The decor inside has a lot of personality, it's like an Italian market and has nice music playing throughout the entire restaurant. We ordered the Clams Casino for appetizer and it was so delicious. It was crispy and savory; the perfect way to start the meal. I think it was my favorite dish we had. We also really liked the anchovies with the garlic sauce. Both had a strong flavor that really went well together. Our next visit, we came during the early bird special which is a great value by the way. Our server explained what comes in the early bird along with their other specials which was the Prime Rib that night (we didn't get that, but I saw it at another table, it looked mouthwatering good!). Two dishes stood out to me on our second visit: the Chicken Marsala and the Cannoli. The chicken marsala came in a very good portion, the chicken was cooked perfectly (soft and tender) with a very savory sauce. The cannoli which was complimentary with the early bird is shockingly one of the better cannolis I have had. Pretty much everything we got from Little Italy tasted great. The only dud for me is their salad. I'm personally not a fan of the complimentary salad unfortunately. I think the dressing is a little too strong but I seem to be in the minority reading the other reviews. Other than that, everything else is amazing. Even their complimentary bread/butter is good.

Went for an early bird dinner, early birds are $20.00. Not bad including a cannoli. We got the…read morechicken Marsala and hubby got the sweetheart deal. Both very good. My sister got the stuffed shells (3) she said were very good.

Walked into this Mediterranean restaurant and immediately thought, "Ah yes... the Mediterranean…read moreSea... also known as Italy." The menu was giving pasta, parmesan, and maybe a distant cousin of the actual Mediterranean. First things first: the bread. Soft. Warm. Fluffy. Honestly the kind of bread that makes you consider abandoning your life responsibilities and just living in a basket. And the butter? Elite. I was two bites away from writing it a love letter. The real MVP? Penne vodka. Get it. Trust me. It's the Beyoncé of the menu. Now, the truffle beef chops... listen. If the truffle was there, it was hiding, wearing camouflage, whispering from another room. Didn't taste it at all. The chicken parm was fine--like the guy in the friend group who's not the funniest or cutest but he's always there and you appreciate him. The place itself? Adorable. Cute colors, great vibes, and lighting that makes you feel like your selfies will come out 20% hotter. I didn't get dessert because I was one forkful away from imploding, but I fully believe it would've been good. The vibes said "trust us." Overall: not the Mediterranean getaway I expected, but still a delicious little identity crisis. And honestly, I'd return just for the bread

Our appetisers were grilled Octopus, shrimp and Spanakopita. The lemon sauce on the grilled Octopus was so good that everyone was dipping bread. The bread was also great. For dinner we had risotto with lobster and Moussaka. The flavours and sauces on both were fabulous. We topped it off with Tiramisu. Really enjoyed dinning here and the atmosphere was lovely. We are from North Jersey.

We ordered: the…read moresausage polenta, crab and corn chowder, rigatoni bolognese, linguini carbonara, veal cutlet, filet mignon with risotto, ice box parfait, and limoncello cake. The chowder was a nice thick hearty soup. The polenta was delightful- with a light and creamy corn flavor. The linguini was a very light and airy pasta. The filet mignon was cooked perfectly medium and was so tender. The risotto and spinach went really well with the steak too. The veal was lightly breaded and melted right in my mouth. The limoncello tasted lemony and sweet, smooth and refreshing with a prominent aroma of lemon. The yellow dessert looked and tasted like a ray of sunshine. The ice box parfait was a refreshing end to my meal. As you can probably tell, we thoroughly enjoyed the entire dinner. The place was packed when we visited. Service was a tad slow but our server Faith did great. The meal more than made up for the slightly slow service. The portion sizes were generous too, we had to box one of the entrees to go. This definitely one of the better restaurant week deals, I would definitely recommend it and this place in general.

Never seen it square before. That was cool. Like Minecraft chicken jockey I enjoyed the decor as well. There was a picture of Venice & it reminded me of Italian Brainrot. I have never been disappointed in anything I've ever ordered from here. This is a great place to get lunch, especially because their lunch specials are a very good value. The service here is incredibly quick, I've always been able to eat here and get back to work within an hour. I have to really give them props for their salads. For some reason, it is very hard to find a good salad in this area and theirs are delicious. The pizzas are a good size too, even the personal sized ones. Poppi's is a great lunch ant dinner spot and I would highly recommend it.

However, it was not much better inside. It was quite warm. They started us with some bread and garlic infused oil. The bread was soft and the oil was very good and flavorful. We ordered the 'Bruschetta' which was VERY definitely my highlight. I wish it had more cheese on it, but the tomatoes were super fresh and the balsamic was delicious. For our entrees, my husband got the 'Diavolo' pizza which was homemade tomato sauce, hot soppressata, homemade mozzarella, chopped garlic, oregano & parmesan cheese. He loved it. He said the bread was soft and it was super cheesy. I did not try it, nor did I order pizza because I just had some a few days ago. I ordered the 'Three Mushroom Pasta' which was shiitaki, cremini & portobello mushrooms sautéed with garlic butter & marsala wine sauce topped with parmesan cheese served over pappardelle pasta. The mushrooms were delicious. However, the pasta itself was rather bland. I will say the portion was BIG and I definitely had left overs. The staff was quick and friendly. I probably would not come back again but it was nice to try, and I'm sure the pizza was better than boardwalk pizza. I would give this a 3.5, but since I can't do halfs.. 3 it is.
