Both were very good, but the calamari was only the rings and didn't come with any sort of dipping sauce which I think would have been nice. Everything ordered was good and so was the portion size. All the plates came in around $40 each. I had the spicy salmon. The salmon was cooked perfectly. IMO, it wasn't that spicy. It seemed like they used a crunchy chili oil to give it the heat. It was serves with rich which had no taste and asparagus which was fibrous and undercooked. The bread and dipping oil was absolutely delicious and the mini pumpkin cheesecake was rich and velvety. In addition to the 1 dessert, we had 2 cappuccino's and 2 coffees, No drinks or alcohol. For 5 people, tax and tip (20%) ended up coming in at just under $350. A bit much, but it is Cape May.

More crab than any other restaurant in South Jersey (really, more than any other restaurant in the entire state of New Jersey...I order this dish everywhere). The red gravy was balanced (more tart than sweet, which is what I prefer). The house salad that arrived ahead of the entrees was delicious. Creamy yet light dressing, if that even makes sense. Our party of 7 raved about everything we ordered. The garlic bread was even insanely delicious. There are so many restaurants in the area, but THIS is one we will return to time and time again. I also had a bit of an issue with the appetizer menu. Very little of substance there to suggest high end Italian. It takes a special kind of lunatic to order chicken fingers and honey mustard before eating Veal Oscar. Biggest issue is not taking Credit Cards. It's 2025. Johnnies has somehow mastered the art of online reservations, but not the 70 year old concept of the credit card? There's an onsite ATM with a $120 maximum withdrawal limit, which makes no sense when your standard ticket must be over $100.

They were very good. We both went with the veal Adriatica entrée special. It was fabulous. Bella said it used to be on the menu but now they just have it on certain days as a special. It got our vote to be a regular menu item again. Perfectly tender veal scallopini with a delicious and light sauce, topped with crab meat, and shrimp, accompanied by spaghetti with their fantastic marinara. For dessert we had the Italian cream cake. Has a little coconut in it and it was exceptional. It's a huge piece of cake and the two of us did not get close to finishing it. Could easily be shared by four in our opinion.
