The receptionist at the office is the worst. You call to set up appointments or ask for blood work and she never sends it in.

After COVID my thyroid gland went nuts - I experienced a lot "more" .. hair loss, insomnia, fatigue, muscle weakness and loss, extreme sensitivity to cold, numbness in a few fingers and toes, a hoarse voice, anxiety, no libido, and excessively dry skin, to name a few issues. Doctor Shah spent 1.5 hours with me on my first office visit, treated me as an individual (not an age), and listened attentively to the pain, suffering, and frustration I was going thru. He reviewed all the medical records I brought with me, and requested a panel of other lab work, along with a couple thyroid tests I never heard of before. Nine months later almost to the day, I am sleeping better, I awake each morning lighter and happier, my hair loss has stopped, I am back at the gym able to workout, and my hoarse voice is gone. Since the first visit, I have had 2 additional teledoc calls with Dr. Shah. He always ends by saying: "Don't hesitate to call me - on my cell - if you have any questions or concerns." What doctor do you know who cares about you as a "individual and not a number," gets you the results you are seeking, and provides you direct contact, anytime, via his private line..?!

I paid over $500 for appointments, all for Dr Shah to not finish my phone consultation. We got interrupted and he said he would call back. He had his receptionist call me about a payment needed and then when she mentioned his notes they were things he did not tell me. I mentioned how paying for an open ended consultation wasn't okay, she told me that it was open ended on my end because "it sounds like i want to have the surgery". But mind you I came to him telling him i didn't want to have the surgery. I don't mind paying for results, but not for an open ended consultation with no solutions.

If you are struggling with recurrent pregnancy loss or infertility and want to find out the root…read morecause? Please reach out to Dr. Rubal! I suffered from 3 pregnancy losses and didn't know where to turn until a friend of mine told me about Dr. Rubal and how she helped her become pregnant. I saw Dr. Rubal in May 2025, where she intentionally listened to me and my husband and our experience with loss. She was kind and compassionate but also straightforward and to the point when it came to the diagnoses. We saw her 3 times to create a game plan, which included taking supplements and also changing lifestyle factors. She was aways available via her patient portal to talk about next steps. 4 months later, I am so happy to say I am 8 weeks pregnant and finally got to hear that precious heart beat! IVF wasn't an option since it is a financial stressor as well as something that didn't align with my values. IVF isn't a 100% success rate or guarantee you will be blessed with a baby. Going with more holistic approach will save you a ton of money and you will learn a lot about your health and body. I encourage you to listen to Dr. Rubal on several podcasts before hand so you can gain a sense of how much it may cost you vs IVF and compare the success rates between the two approaches. Please keep in mind, Dr. Rubal in a one woman show, so it may take 2-3 weeks for her to get back to your initial message. You may also have to wait a bit for your appointment time because she it so committed to all of her patients, she takes time with them and will do the same for you. And I know waiting any amount of time while trying to conceive it like a lifetime but be patient because she is worth it! Good luck!

After struggling with infertility for 8 years and experiencing a failed IVF cycle, I came to Dr…read more Rubal feeling discouraged and searching for answers. From the very beginning, she truly listened to my concerns and took the time to investigate the root causes affecting my health and fertility. Dr. Rubal quickly identified several underlying conditions, including endometriosis, PCOS, insulin resistance, prediabetes, high cholesterol, and other issues that had gone undiagnosed for years. She recommended a GLP-1 medication as part of my treatment plan, and after just three months, I feel like a completely different person. While I am still on my journey toward pregnancy, I finally feel hopeful because Dr. Rubal is helping me heal the underlying causes rather than simply treating symptoms. She is an exceptional physician with extensive medical knowledge, profound empathy, and a truly compassionate approach to patient care. She listens carefully, communicates clearly, and makes you feel genuinely supported every step of the way. I highly recommend Dr. Rubal to anyone seeking a knowledgeable and caring doctor who truly advocates for her patients.

I appreciated how clearly she explained everything to my aunt and made sure she understood her options. The office was well-organized, and the staff was professional and friendly, which made the whole visit smooth from start to finish. It's not always easy to find a doctor who combines expertise with genuine care, but Dr. Goldfarb does exactly that. Overall, I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a skilled and compassionate specialist.

I would NOT recommend Dr Goldfarb for parathyroid surgery. She performed parathyroid surgery on my…read morefamily member and first of all blatantly lied after surgery about how many parathyroids she took out. Right after surgery she said they took one "and a little bit", then in the following days tells my family member 3 were taken out. She also failed to send my family member home taking calcium after the surgery (standard procedure at the best in the country Norman Parathryroid center in Tampa, we have a family member who had parathyroid surgery here). She waited for calcium to get low and have symptoms before treating rather than trying to prevent from going low in the first place. Since then we have had nothing but issues and almost a year later now my family member is suffering from hypoparathyroidism and having to take calcium everyday to prevent symptoms of low calcium, which the internet says this is usually a result of damage caused during surgery. I am convinced she is the cause of all of this. The said she had to dig around and go almost to the spine to find one and I think she damaged something causing the patient to now have a life long issue. The endocrinologist are now saying the parathyroid may never come back and my family member may have to be on calcium for the rest of their life (risking kidney stones) or medication which is a shot every day to manage the PTH levels. On top of that, Dr Goldfarb's surgery left a huge noticeable scar on the neck of the patient. We are now questioning whether the surgery was even necessary. Prior to this, there were no symptoms no issues besides slightly high calcium and slightly elevated PTH showing up on bloodwork and now it is a daily struggle to manage and no doctor in town seems to know what is going on. Dr Goldfarb was cocky and over confident and dismissive when questions were asked about difficulties with parathyroid surgeries. She was also not proactive in working with the endocrinologist to help with these issues. I would never send anyone to this surgeon and certainly would NEVER allow her to cut my neck open. People need to be aware that parathyroid surgery isn't as simple as doctors make it out to be. I just wish my family member would have gone to UCLA or even Norman Parathyroid Center in Tampa or maybe didn't really even need the surgery to begin with but...surgeons make money off of surgery, dont they?

When she had called to double check, it turns out that the appointment was never set, and the next available date isn't until February 2025. When questioned about why the appointment was never set, the receptionist states "that's why we encourage our patients to call in and check". So, based on this, Inland Endocrine expects their patients to double check their work and make sure they are doing their job? No patient should have to wonder if the office staff is accountable or not, and that they can properly set schedules. Now she has to wait an additional 3 months for an office visit. It's clear that patient care and accountability is not a priority here. Save yourself from the hassle and scheduling incompetencies and find an endocrine office that actually cares about their patients.

Interesting information about Dr. R. Alrezk, MD and Professional Bio:…read moreDr. Rami Alrezk, MD, MS, FACP is a triple-board-certified specialist in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism, Geriatric Medicine, and Internal Medicine. He is the founder of the California Endocrine Center in Murrieta, CA. His pedigree is elite; He served as a Medical Director at the Cleveland Clinic and completed advanced fellowships at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), UCSF, and UCLA. Dr. Alrezk is not just a clinician but a researcher who developed the Geriatric-Sensitive Cardiac Risk Index, a tool now utilized by major health organizations to improve surgical safety for seniors. He is widely considered an expert in high-complexity cases, including neuroendocrine tumors and rare adrenal disorders. Peer Review: 5/5 Stars The Verdict: Dr. Alrezk represents the rare "physician-scientist" who successfully bridges the gap between high-level academic research and compassionate patient care. What Stands Out The "Triple Threat" Perspective: His background in Geriatrics, Internal Medicine, and Endocrinology allows him to see the "whole picture." He doesn't just treat a thyroid; he understands how that treatment impacts the heart and the aging process. Scientific Precision: Having trained at the NIH and Caltech, his diagnostic approach is more rigorous than a standard community endocrinologist. He is the doctor other doctors send their "mystery cases" to. Patient Accessibility: Despite his world-class credentials, patient feedback consistently highlights his humility and clarity. He has a knack for explaining complex hormonal feedback loops in simple, everyday language. Conclusion: If you are in Southern California and dealing with a complex endocrine issue--especially if you are an older adult--Dr. Alrezk is arguably the most over-qualified (in a good way) and capable specialist in the region. My Review: Dr. Rami Alrezk is one of the best physicians I have in my care team. He is very knowledgeable not only as an Endocrinologist and Neuro Endocrinologist, but he understands the importance of treating the whole body. For years, many physicians I have had in the past, wanted to just jump in and put me on medication that I couldn't tolerate. There was a reason for that, but he was the only one who knew why. He also does ultrasounds, liver scans and Dexa scans in his office himself, which saves time on a diagnosis. I have never experienced the level of care he has for his patience from any other doctor. I guarantee you will get the best care if you establish with Dr. Rami Alrezk. He's one of a kind and quite impressive. Thank you Dr. Rami, for your caring attitude and expertise.
