Should have taken a hint then, but we rescheduled. When they did show up, they basically sprayed water on the windows and called it done. There were streaks, spots, etc.... all over the glass, they didn't even remove the screens until I asked about it, then left the job with the dirty screens laying on my carpet. When I asked the people to revisit their work they basically said they've never had anyone complain before and left. Do not use APS for pressure washing unless you want a layer of concrete blasted off of your driveway revealing the stone aggreagte!! This is exactly what happened to me. We've had our windows cleaned by APS every year since 2017. They have always done a wonderful job. The receptionist is very polite when I call or she calls back at in a reasonable time frame. The workers arrive when expected. They are very polite, hard working people who actually seem to take pride in their work. When cleaning inside they are very respectful of my furnishings. They leave our windows spotless with a brilliant shine. I recommend them to my neighbors who use them as well. The price is extremely reasonable and the service is exceptional ! They say 3rd time's a charm and I believe it! APS is the 3rd company we have hired to pressure wash our house, clean windows (45 of them!) inside and out, and clean roof and gutters. They scheduled us promptly, arrived when they said they would, were friendly and professional with clear communication about the job and the pricing is more than fair. I wanted to give APS a high rating because they did a great job washing my outside windows. However, customer service sucks. My windows look great. They haven't looked this good since we stopped washing them ourselves. My problem is that there was one window which I would look at every morning when the sun was shining that was not washed. They must have skipped that one. When I talked to Amanda to ask if the crew could come over to finish the job (I had to leave a VM) she told me when she called me back that they would be over on such and such a day. They never showed. I called again. They never showed. I kept calling for two weeks before I told her I felt forced to leave a bad review and I really wanted to use them again, but of course I won't anymore and I am leaving a poor review. read more

APS did pressure washing, gutter cleaning, and outside window washing at my house. I have no complaints about the work done other than one of their employees fell on a patio table and destroyed it. When I attempted to discuss with one the workers when I arrived home no one could speak English. I took pictures. Pay attention there is no local street address on their website and the 1 time I got someone on the phone she refused to give me owner contact information. She did confirm the worker was ok which is most important. She did say the worker I spoke told her I had said there was no issue which is wrong again no one could speak English. I think they can speak some English but if a problem arises maybe not so much. read more

This is real review from a real customer. I wish I could rate them for their actual service, but like another Yelper, NO CALL, NO SHOW. I called them 2 days before the scheduled appointment to verify. I called 3 times on the day of scheduled service. The window crew would not call anyone to even say they would be late. This company spends a lot of money advertising in VALPAK coupon mailings. All that money just got them a one star review. Just goes to show how over rated money is.... lol. Anyway, we wasted an entire afternoon, we also had to move furniture back in place....for no reason. This company is unprofessional and I only guess what the service would be like! Setup window cleaning 9/3/21 as a repeat customer. On 9/2 called and confirmed they were coming 9/3 between 12-2pm. By 1:30 pm 9/3, no calls or shows. Contacted the manager who promised to find out the problem and call right back. Never happened! About a week later the manager finally called me back, after numerous calls on my part. She rescheduled me for 9/13 between 12-2. At 1235 on 9/13, I called and again around 3:30. They never showed up or returned my calls on this rescheduled work. This company is unreliable and irresponsible. Damaged windows during cleaning, forced cleaning solution into void between double pane insulated windows fogging the glass resulting in an estimated repair cost of over $1000(professional repair company estimate to replace fogged window glass). They also failed to perform the advertised bagging and removal of debris from the gutters as well as the stated inclusion of flushing of the downspouts they post on their flyer in two different places. "Asphalt shingle sand" and sticks being removed from the gutters was thrown to the ground and left. Only after I saw the service man doing this did he pull a bag from his back pocket and complete the remaining 20 feet of gutter. This was done by hand so it is highly unlikely they were thoroughly cleaned. Finally I was contacted after almost two weeks of touching base with them via texts by someone representing themselves as management and they denied they could have damaged and fogged the windows even though they were intact and clear before their service. They then refused to cover any repair and even stated they would not return to remedy the incomplete gutter job because of my accusation of damage. They were paid in full for the job before the window damage was discovered. This is a window that is viewed dozens of times a day so I can assure you they were without this damage prior to the APS service call. APS windows and gutter cleaning Jacksonville FL, did a horrible job. I paid APS to pressure wash my 1600 sq ft house for 279 and they left dark marks on one side of the house and killed some of our plants that were close to the house. I was working and in meetings and didn't check the work well before writing the check and now regret that. Once my wife checked she immediately asked the service technician to clean up the mess and he sprayed bleach on the dark marks and left it with out rinsing it off and left. My wife asked me to call and complain about the unfinished job. I called and complained, luckily getting someone to answer only to be told the technician would return after another job which he never did. Then calls went unanswered. I usually like to tip to support the workers but now regret doing that. I paid the 279 plus a tip only to get horrible work In return. read more

They were supposed to arrive at my house between 12 PM and 2 PM. I made a special effort to be home during that window. However, I need to leave promptly at 2:00. Not only did they not show up, I did not receive a courtesy phone call or text to say that they were going to be late. At 3:00 PM. My doorbell rang repeatedly. Since I have Ring, I was receiving information on my cell phone. The video showed the workmen wandering around on my lawn. They then stayed in my driveway for about 15 minutes. Just got another text message from them advertising a "special." Tried calling this time instead of replying to the text after I confirmed the phone number because the last THREE TIMES I replied to the text and it told me "someone will call you to set up the appointment," all I got were.... crickets. So when I called the phone, no answer; didn't even get a business recording telling me to leave a message; it was the standard phone company "not available at this time." I used APS a couple of times LONG ago, and I vaguely remember the first service was OK and the second had some issues regarding cleanup and bagging. Those visits probably would have gotten three stars out of me. But since all of my attempts to interact with them for the last TWO YEARS have resulted in NOTHING.... well.... they've earned this one. read more

I had them come out to do a gutter cleaning. They spent less than 15 minutes there. They left the trash from the gutters on my upholstered patio furniture in a leaky bag, and didn't bother to clean up the 50+ rusty roofing nails that got washed out of the downspouts. They didn't clean out the downspouts completely either. So when it rained 2 weeks later, my gutters are still overflowing. When I contacted them it took 2 text messages a week apart to get a response, and the response was that they would charge me again to come out since it had been more than 5-7 days since the service was performed. When I responded that it hadn't rained within that time period to see that the gutters were still clogged, I have had no response from them. Radio silence. A very unreliable company I would say, and they don't do the job right the first time, and don't fix it if it isn't right. read more

I asked him to clean the sills: "No problem!" At the end, when I saw that the sills were filthy, he told me that he only did windows. Many windows still have smudges and he told me it was in the glass (Wrong answer as smudges are not a class defect nor are squeegee marks). Was in a hurry to leave and when I told him that I would show him the marks from his cleaning marks he said he had to go. Last year when we used APS, they sent a 4 person crew who a great job, including the sills. He used the hose and did not recoil or put the freezer cap back on. Moved the Porch furniture and did not move back. We picked up a lot of his dirty paper towels. There is enough competition that I wouldn't use them again. I had my windows cleaned this morning by APS and am very disappointed in their work, it was just sloppy. I questioned the dirty screens and was told they don't do screen cleaning but will for an extra charge. I've had my windows cleaned professionally for years and screens are part of the job, what good are clean windows but dirty screens! They finished and I paid them begrudgingly. I soon discovered that they left the bottom halves of 3 of my double hung windows dirty and never even did the window in my garage on the front of my house even though I asked them to clean it. They coudn't pull the double hung when they came inside to clean because the hardware for the cord for blinds was in the way. They should have gone outside again and cleaned those, but they left and never told me that they left all those windows dirty, I spent an hour and a half cleaning what they didn't myself, plus they oversprayed the window cleaner onto my wood floors and tracked that mess all over! I do NOT recommend their service. Here is why: I was referred to APS by a friend , but was not happy at all with their service nor their communications and problem solving skills. I requested the service and was clear about how many windows , Chandeliers i have and asked if they have their ladders and all their equipments with them before they showed up. On the day of the service, they did the outside windows, then told me they will do the inside on another day??? i was upset because i cleared my schedule to be at home for the service.But, said fine do it the next day since i needed this to be over with.He agreed to do the Chandeliers for me at the same day. First they use only a small damp cloth with water coz haven't see any detergents, no rags or cloths underneath the Crystal Chandelier to protect the falling pieces. Two men were doing that, and i brought to their attention not to turn the Chandelier , but instead they turn around it to avoid any unexpected fall. After 2 minutes of starting i hear the glass breaking sound, he broke one Crystal, and was fine with it.Just looked at me in ( So what look?? ). After talking to the manger and complaining he stopped and they promised to contact the store and get me a replacement. Till here was fine, but i requested they come next time more prepared since i pulled my son's comforter to put underneath the ladder in case any fell from the other one. After two days they show up, telling me THEY have decided not clean the rest of the Chandelier and after calling the manger again she said WE DECIDED that you were not happy with us so we will not clean the rest ???? Decided and acted on my behalf?? without letting the customer knows??? I told her if i knew i would cancel the indoor service and pay only for the outdoors one. That was ridicules , and very unprofessional of them to deal with a customer or a problem this way, instead of improving their service they decided not to do it after three days of delay. Beside, they cleaned the window nice, but they left dirty hand prints all of my white walls. If I were to clean the walls with the pressed wash, it's going to get the windows all dirty again. Wow, wish I had read these reviews before hiring them. 2 guys come to my house, very nice but did not speak any English so nearly impossible to communicate with them. Service was awful. They didn't even understand that with tilt-in windows you have to clean them from inside the home, so one guy thinks the other guy cleaned them and of course the other guy thinks he did it. Had to go around to all the bottom windows and show them that neither one of them did it. Sloppy work, drips everywhere. Didn't do corners of windows, no attention to detail. Smudge marks in several areas. Call the office to tell them and she apologizes, says someone will call to fix this. Nobody calls. I call again. She says manager isn't there and owner won't call anyone. Only thing she can do is send the same 2 guys back. Ugh. Do not work with this company. read more

This company (Raleigh/Durham location)for the third year in a row has littered my entire neighborhood with their clothespinned marketing flyers. I take no issue with a small business trying to solicit and grow their customer base however, both myself and several of my neighbors have repeatedly asked them to stop doing it this way. Our complaints were never responded to and the behavior continues. If it happens again next year, we will have no option but to get authorities involved and file formal complaints for littering, trespassing, loitering, and soliciting in a neighborhood clearly marked "no soliciting". However, they left such a mess after that I had to go out & blow everything myself so that my sidewalk and patios were clean again. I made an appointment to have my gutters cleaned after receiving a flyer for a $109 limited-time special price (which, by the way, is the every day price on their website and not a special, limited-time offer). The guy was on time, he was finished in about fifteen minutes, my husband paid the guy and he left. Then we noticed our downspouts were clogged, my van was covered in gunk from the gutters, and he left a bag of trash at the road next to our driveway. I called APS immediately, there was no answer, so I left a message, detailing the issues. When I hadn't received a return call the two days later, I left another message, again detailing the issues, and said I'd like a return call before I left my Yelp review. They called back within the hour. The girl said something along the lines of, "Oh, they didn't come out yesterday? They were supposed to come out yesterday to finish the job." Really? Lol, okay... She said they would come out the next week to finish it up. Yesterday was the end of the 'next week' and our downspouts are still clogged, the bag of trash is still out at the road, and I haven't heard from them. Charged multiple times for the same service and poor re-installation of existing equipment. I had my gutters cleaned a couple months ago and a few days after the service the gutter guards they were to reinstall fell off with a slight wind. I talked to the company and it was outside the window whereby they would address the issue and now I have just discovered I have been charged multiple times for a service already paid for. They ares stating they are providing reimbursement and admit the multiple charges were in error, but I should not have to manage their billings to ensure they are not ripping me off. read more

Workers arrived on time and began with outside window washing. I have a lot of very small windows above the regular windows and was charged full price to clean them. Naturally, at $3 each this added a lot to the charge. Washing was "acceptable" at best. Pressure washing my lanai, driveway, sidewalk, and entryway was also "acceptable" at best. The charge for these services was over $500. This company is reliable for appointments, but pressure washing could be improved. read more
