I stopped into Sonoma County Auto Care to ask where the sound was coming from, and they showed me that one of our lug nuts had fallen off and all the others were only finger tight. They said that if I had driven it on the highway like that the wheels likely would have come off. They fixed it for me for free. When we called GreenTech they denied all responsibility on the basis that they hadn't worked on our tires, even though the brake work they did clearly requires taking the wheels off.

These Gentlemen were a God send!…read more So prior to contacting MPB for emergency work needed on my vehicle, I previously attempted to work with another repair shop regarding some emergency work that needed due to what I thought, was major damage to my car. Thinking what was provided at my initial diagnosis and what I was quoted, scared, stressed and worried is putting how I was feeling about my predicament, lightly. So, strapped for what I thought was going to be close to 5 grand (Yes, that's what the other shop quoted me) and a LONG list of work that was advised "Needed" to ensure my vehicle ran properly, I became worried that I wouldn't be able to drive my car. So, I searched for somewhere who could work with me in what I actually needed and came across MPB Auto Repair. I called and spoke with Tony (I'm sorry if I misspelled it!) and gave him the rundown. I went on a business trip and left my car there to have all the work performed while I was out of town. I was shown all of the new parts that were original BMW parts, and he explained why we were going to use original BMW parts. When I picked up the car he showed me all of the old parts they took out, the condition they were in, and explained each piece to me and the why behind needing to replace it. I've never experienced anything like this with any repair shop I've used in the Bay Area or here in Elk Grove. Again, I could not be more impressed with the level of professionalism, communication, and transparency. I was literally blown away. On top of all of this communication, I received photographs before and after the repairs were completed, as well as video - very much like a dealer would give you. Juan took extra time to go on the test drive with me when I felt I was experiencing a little bit of weirdness when I was driving it, and this is standard practice for this shop.
