I will most definitely return to and refer others to JR Auto Repair! Exceptional work at a fair and reasonable price is very hard to find. He located the problem quickly, ordered and installed the new parts needed. He only charged me for labor, and the actual cost of the parts -- no markup. He only charged me for an hour ... Jorge is a straight-shooter: he tells it like it is without embellishment. I recommend him highly.

I have been taking my car to Donati automotive for close to 20 years now and I couldn't ask for a…read morebetter mechanic! I first found out about Mark Donati when I asked one of my clients who worked for a major insurance company who was the best mechanic in the area and client had told me that Mark was the most honest and affordable mechanic in the area. She said that they had several problems with automotive repair shops using aftermarket parts but charging dealer prices for those poor quality parts and she assured me that this was not the case with Mark. Mark Donati is a master mechanic he is highly trained, he is certified and he has worked for larger dealerships in the beginning of his career as a mechanic. I assure you......if your car is making a weird noise he will figure what it is! One of the things that I always have loved about Mark is that when he repairs my vehicle he will show me the part that he removed and he will explain to me the way it's supposed to work and why it wasn't working correctly as this assures me that I'm not paying for a repair service that wasn't done like my experience at other automotive repair shops! I have sent numerous friends and family members to Mark and not one of them has ever been disappointed they always come back as regular customer.

I have a 2001 Honda Civic which has over 200,000 miles on it and the reason why I believe that this…read morecar has lasted so long is because of Marc. The way I found Marc was that I had a current leak that was draining my car battery but after going through several different mechanics and changing both the battery and alternator the current leak was still there which would drain my battery overnight causing my car not to start in the morning. I was about to give up and just get a new car when a friend of mine recommended Marc, he said Marc had been working on cars for 40 years and he had seen everything under the sun and if anyone could solve this problem Marc could, so I decided what the heck, it would cost me much more money for a new car so why not give this guy a shot. Within one day Marc had diagnosed the problem as a faulty frayed wiring from the alternator to the battery and splice in a new cable and viola the problem was fixed, we did not need to change the battery or the alternator and most importantly for me, I did not need to buy a new car! This problem happened in 2012-2013 when my car had a 100,000 miles on it and I've been going to him ever since, now that I found Marc I would never go to another mechanic. I go to him to do all the maintenance on my car including but not limited to oil changes, AC, brakes etc. Marc Donati is truly an amazing mechanic, he's one of those old school mechanics from a simpler time when your word was your bond and integrity actually meant something, he provides reliable estimates, he recommends what additional maintenance is needed on your car but doesn't pressure you unlike less ethical mechanics, like a great doctor he tells you what is needed to keep your car in peak physical condition. My plan is to drive my 2001 Honda Civic to a 1 million mile and with Marc's help I believe it can happen!

This one by far is the most reasonably priced one and I was given a through explanation on the diagnosis of the car and had the patience to tell me in terms I could understand. They took it in super last minute and were able to get it up and running just before I had to go to work. Highly recommend it, and they speak Spanish as well!

Not that you could have picked out that one dent from all the others, but it caused the door to make a noise upon opening and closing. Bob fixed it in ten minutes and I was out. But, I'm telling the story in the wrong order. One of our cars had been diagnosed with a bad head gasket by our beloved mechanics although it wasn't exhibiting any of the classic signs of a bad head gasket. A friend told me about Bob so I brought the car to him for a second opinion. Bob is a super nice guy who loves helping people and also loves car puzzles. He did some diagnostics and determined it was a couple of bad sensors, which I suspected all along. It's been two months and about 1400 miles and the car runs great. Bob saved me well over $2,000 or potentially getting rid of a perfectly good car and I will be eternally grateful to him. He tries to save you as much money as he can while giving you good, honest advice and his labor rates are about half of most shops. The shop set up is a little funky, he's a one man show and there's not a lot of room for cars or a fancy waiting room, but I'll take funky if I can save hundreds or thousands on car repair. Plus, I trust him and that's priceless.
