My landlord tried to fix the broken refrigerator and microwave multiple times, but he just made it worse. Finally after his multiple attempts he gave up and asked me to look for companies locally for repair. I called so many companies for sameday repair especially that have big headline 'Sameday Repair', but no luck. I turned to my friend and he recommend me to these folks. I was afraid of my food going bad, so I asked them for sameday service. They originally gave me late afternoon window I wasn't completely happy but they were the only ones who were willing to come sameday, so I couldn't complain. Two hours later one of the technician called me and asked if he could come sooner because one of his customer rescheduled their appointment. I was so happy and ask them to come. The technician was well uniformed and had proper tools with him. He gave me diagnoses of the refrigerator and repair cost. I asked him to call my landlord for approval since he was paying. After his approval, the technician went straight to repair. It took him about 45 mins for repair. He was very well spoken. He was journeymen technician still completing training at local school. He did excellent job! At end he took pictures and sent it to my landlord. I was little disappointed that my microwave couldn't be repaired. The technician told me they only service built-in microwave, but the person at their office said they did service my microwave. he quickly looked and said it best to just replace it. its worth it getting repaired w/ labor and parts cost. Appliances Pro, Inc. went beyond the call of duty to help me find a similar part for a discontinued refrigerator.​I was ready to take my old refrigerator to the land fill. I could not find a new replacement that was the same height that I needed so purchased a smaller one. Then discovered it did not have a defrost mechanism . So fortunately Home Depot allowed me to return it even though box was torn, That is when I called Appliances Pro to get an estimate on a repair. I expressed some concerns about the company and they sent the owner, Nick along with the technician. He addressed my concerns and determined the problem quickly. Then he had to go to 5 different places to find a part that would be a good substitute for my discontinued one. He only needed a timer and not both timer and thermostat so reduced my price. He also reduced my price as a senior and helped me bring the refrigerator down to my basement and bring the other one back up. Hired this "company" to repair the lighting on my Viking ventilation hood and conduct a basic service of my Viking range (their website indicates that they service Viking). They came out next day and disassembled the range, but sad they would need to get parts and come out in two days to repair it. They did not show up again (despite many calls on my behalf) for over two weeks - leaving us without an oven for this time. They did eventually fix the range, but after disassembling and replacing some parts for the ventilation hood, they said they were unable to fix it. They did not charge us for the hood (which is fair). Unfortunately, while they were working on the hood, the made several large scratches in the sheet metal, bent the metal because they disassembles it incorrectly, and reassembled it incorrectly. Not surprisingly, they have been unresponsive with my requests for them to come out and repair the damage. This company is dishonest, unreliable, and incompetent - stay away at all cost! read more

Great Work on high end unit appliances... As a new homeowner, my budget is very limited. But that's doesnt mean Im cheap I gladly pay more if I know I'm getting a good service I found Appliances pro online and what a GREAT find it is! The Appliances pro technician got to my house when he said he would. Also, as I requested, he called me 20 min. before arriving. The rear burner on my cooktop wasnt lighting and since neither my husband or I know anything about appliances, I thought I should just pay a reliable appliance Repair Company to take care of it. I had problem with my AC unit in mid summer and that too was a long weekend. When I called them and requested for a service call same day, they responded very nicely and scheduled for an immediate appointment. They gave an 3 hour window for the technician to come out and see the problem. The technician arrived on time, quickly analyzed the problem and told the AC need a part to be replaced. Later after 3 days, the technician showed up with the new part to be replaced and fixed it and gave me the instructions of what to do and what not to do and asked me to give him a call in case of any problem. I had other companies at my house before for my appliances but none of them really gave the good experience like appliances pro did. The were able to come on sameday and on time for my appliance. I told them my ref was not working it seems to not cool enough. The tech did his thing and finally told me my ref was low on freeon. So my questions was do you have the freeon he said yes i was extremely happy because if hadn't had it my food was going to go bad. The price he told me was in my affordable. Great serivce. Nicks tech came out jay. He was great. He told me my ref need a board. Total was 285. The board was (150). I ask the tech after the job why couple of reviews on yelp are bad in Arlington area and in bristow you 3.8 stars and google in manassas location 4.2 stars and 4.2 on yellow pages with 65 reviews. He told me the reviews in Arlington area are old back than nick hire lot people because he was getting lot jobs and couldn't track those techs.
