I am deeply disappointed with Appliance ASAP.  Here is the timeline - Repair technician replaced the Gas Valve on 16th Feb. - Gas leak was detected when the oven was turned on and when we had PSE come over to investigate the gas leak, they mentioned that the repair was inappropriately done.  - Upon contacting you guys on 17th Feb, repair tech came over to find out that he had installed a incompatible gas valve part. I would have expected him to know upon installment that the part was incorrect. The tenants of the home were exposed to high level of natural gas including CO as determined by PSE technician - A replacement part was ordered which arrived on 1st March. Repair tech replaced it around noon of 1st March. When tenant used the gas oven, she detected a gas leak again. PSE was called and they identified that the gas flex line and compression fitting was lose and was not tightened appropriately.  This was highly incompetent level of work and exposed tenant of the house to dangerous levels of CO and gas.  I would not recommend them to anybody. read more

Simple service for our dryer. We had to reschedule once due to the 2019 Feb snow. They came out while the roads (and our neighborhood in particular) were difficult to get through. Turns out the dryer enclosure had accumulated a bunch of lint, and some had probably been sucked up into the burner element and tripped the thermal sensor. Serviceman cleaned out the insides, verified the vent flow to the outside, and checked everything else. A simple fix+check for a standard $100 visit fee. read more

I wish all customer service was like this. My problem was fixed quickly and hassle free. I am pleased! They had a professional sounding person answering the phone. When the service expert arrived he opened the freezer, tapped on the thermometer motor in the freezer and it began. Basically, he knew what he was doing and diagnosed the problem in 4 minutes. He ordered the part and installed it 2 days later in about 6 minutes. I have a lot of respect who have the knowledge to address the problem and to fix it. I called Appliance ASAP to fix my broken oven door hinge. I gave them the model number and told them the problem over the phone. When the technician arrived, it took him all of about 2 minutes to confirm the door hinge was broken. However, I then learned there was no available replacement hinge for my geriatric oven. The technician then suggested I look into ways of fixing the oven myself or finding someone online with a part, that he could then install for $40 for each 15 minutes of work. So, how much did ApplianceASAP charge me for the pleasure of 12 minutes of their company and their advice? Only $105! To be fair, the technician's suggestion that I try and fix myself was a good one. After 15 minutes of work, I was able to find and replace a broken gasket and the hinge now works! So, what did we learn here? I paid someone to come to my house to repair a product I told them about in advance, only to have them come, confirm the problem I already diagnosed, and then tell me they couldn't fix it. If you have broken appliance, I would suggest saving yourself some Benjamins and just have a friend or spouse confirm what you already know to be wrong with your appliance and then try to fix it yourself. I will say the technician was very professional and friendly. read more

Shout out to Appliance Repair ASAP in Bothell. Their service technician came out last week to service our washing machine. He determined we needed a new pump, ordered one and came back this morning to install. When he got in there he realized it wasn't a faulty pump but instead dog bed filling that had clogged it. He could have easily charged us for the pump and gone on his way without installing it (we would have never known) but instead took almost $175 off our bill and went on his way. These guys are awesome. I tried for weeks to no avail to get someone to come out to my house that was qualified to work on my JennAir fridge. In the meantime, water is leaking all over my kitchen floor with no way to shut it off. Weeks and days go by and then these guys show up. Jeremy was honest with what the problem was and how to fix it. They came when they said they were going to and even showed up a few days later when I saw a minor problem related to the repair. They came on a Saturday afternoon to take care of it with no problem. Price was more than fair and they even installed a water shutoff near the front of my fridge so that I wouldn't have this leaking disaster again. It's tough to find Speed Queen warranty repair outside of a limited range, but ASAP was happy to send out their agent to where I live, a part was ordered in a reasonable period of time, and the process was quick and painless as appliance repair goes. I had to check back a little to schedule the redelivery once the part was available, however I had no concern with getting in touch with a phone rep and follow-up on their end. I think the fact that they take $85+tax for diagnosis and then ask for more like $200-300 estimate for a door switch replacement in a microwave oven is too high of a price! I'd already diagnosed the issue with door switch and wanted the folks to repair it without charging me extra on diagnosis - but it seems the first check of $85 is mandatory and then additional charges per hourly basis (almost close to $120/hr) is not cheap in anyway .. I'd rather go with someone who says more affirmative answers to my question and tells me the exact cost of repair rather .. read more

This company is a total rip off on their service. They came and service our fridge and replace a $15 parts wtih labor for $296. Worse is the service didn't last me more than couple months. Went through a nightmare month of trying to find someone who would fix our Viking refrigerator without us having to sell our firstborn for what they wanted to charge. Found Appliance ASAP by calling a local retail appliance store and double checking on vikingrange.com that they were an authorized repair center. I would give better reviews but my issue is that for 2 simple thermostats, it took almost a month because they don't stock any Viking parts. Had I ordered the parts on my own earlier in the process I probably would have saved myself 2 weeks of suffering without a refrigerator. I was charged $300 for parts and labor which I suppose is the norm for this industry but overall experience was "meh." read more

Be prepared to pay lawyer hourly rates, but he did good work. To be fair I did not ask enough questions ahead of time on how much the repair work would cost but it never occurred to me that 2 hours of work with no parts at all would be $476. The repair was completed and everything worked well, courteous service, just a very surprising bill at the end. Be prepared to pay a lot (~$240 an hour for me) so I would only use this on an appliance that would be very pricey to replace. read more

From the time I called them, they did everything they could to get an appointment soon for me. We have a less than 2 year old Grandson who spends the night often and clean clothes matter. As a Disabled Vet, and having bad nights often, and especially last night, Jeremy was so great a patient with me. My alarm did not go off, yet he waited for me to get to the door more than 10 minutes. He offered to take his shoes off, (nice touch, not nessecary) but got right into trying to do the repair. I would say it took him less than 5 minutes to diagnose the problem, then figure out what caused it and fix it. Within 20 minutes of coming in the house, he figured out, fixed and got hoses on the washer and ran a test run on it. Most of time companies try and stall, make runs to the truck, try this or that. It was so, So Refreshing these days for an Honest Company Employee not trying to Milk someone, especially a little older. His personallity was wonderful as well. Very polite, but not phony. Today we had a repair man out, Dave B., to fix our dishwasher. It decided to unload the water in the tub all over the hardwood floors. Dave got on hands and knees and eventually on his stomach to see where the water was coming from. He eventually found the tub had a crack so hence the flood. We had tried our own troubleshooting and 2 other service companies before finally turning to ASAP to fix our KitchenAid refrigerator. We had the problem for 2 months and I wished we gave ASAP a call earlier. They were really professional, scheduled the appointment for the following week. The technician (V) was right on time in the time window provided to us. He was very knowledgeable about our fridge model, was very patient listening to the entire story of how we tried to fix it ourselves and then fixed the problem in about 10 minutes. My washing machine seized up on me mid-cycle, all fill, no spin, no drain. What a huge bummer. I called ASAP and they scheduled me for a visit from a technician a few days later. I was convinced that after waiting 3 days for a tech to come look at my washer that they'd say, "Give it up lady, this washer's a goner!" Imagine my surprise and delight when James showed up, reached into my washer, gave it a jiggle and got it running right away. Turned out a couple wires had come loose and just needed some tightening to get things spinning again. I was only charged for the housecall since the that comes with 15 minutes of service and it took him, literally, 3 minutes to fix the problem. As he was leaving he even said to give him a call if i have any other future problems and maybe he could troubleshoot over the phone before having to come out fora service call. I'm delighted. I'll definitely use ASAP when the rest of my aging appliances go on the fritz. read more

I had Josh and Kenny come out to help me install a wall oven, a fridge and a gas cooktop. They were very professional and a delight to work with. They found issues with the cabinets, I had to get the cabinet guys out to fix those issues, they ended up coming two extra times besides the first visit just to make sure everything is done right and to our satisfaction.
