Just a bad experience with this business, I had high hopes given the good reviews. But the lady on the phone was just plain dismissive and not understanding. All I wanted was a door boot seal replacement for my washing machine. And they still want to charge me full diagnostic fees ($129), even when there isn't any thing to diagnose + labor ($30 per 15 min) and just hung the phone saying we don't negotiate. So if the tech takes an hour, I am looking at more than $250 (with taxes), when I am supplying the part! read more

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE! When you call them, it actually goes to JC Appliance Repair. A technician named Jeremy Cox came to diagnose the problem with our range. The cost of the diagnostic is $129, not rolled into the repair! Without any effort or analysis, he assessed that there was a part needed to solve the issue - constant clicking in all 4 burners. He called somewhere to determine that the part was available and said it would take 14 business days to get the part. With Thanksgiving around the corner, I eagerly agreed. He created an invoice and asked that I pay for the part upfront. He did a great job of selling a story about how they book place holder appointments based on the ETA of the parts arrival. I paid him $325. It has been a week now, and I have yet to hear from them. I have called, it goes to voice mail so I've left a few voicemails, I have sent several emails and I have texted a couple of times. Zero response. This was definitely a scam that I do not recommend! What is terrible is that this business was recommended by a local appliance dealer! read more

Called at 4:20 PM and business was closed for the day. After leaving a message, there was no way to sign off nor did it acknowledge that they even received it so I am not real impressed. read more

***** FIVE STARS ***** Make ASAP your first telephone call when ANY of your major appliances are on the fritz or kaput!. If ASAP cant fix the problem no one can! We have been a customer of ASAP & it's parent company for 25+ years, they have never failed or let us down. Very easy scheduling. Their Technician was highy competent & experienced. The Tech was very respectful of our home. After a few minutes of troublshooting the Tech was able to accurately diagnose the problem. Ordered the parts needed to repair my 14 year old Whirlpool dishwasher. About a week later with the new parts the same tech installed them, then tested the Whirlpool dishwasher & found it operating correctly. When finished, the Tech cleaned up, collected the payment & left, a friendly seamless transaction. ASAP hit another HOME RUN with us. read more

First of all, I've been using ApplianceASAP for years -- like, maybe 10 years? I've referred them to countless people, and have used them for rental properties and my own home. On Tuesday, they were out to a rental property and tried to charge my card on file after the service appointment. The card had been replaced so the number they had no longer worked. This morning (Friday - of the same week) I get a text saying they were sending me to collections if they don't receive payment today. I've been out of town so I wasn't able to connect with them today. I called right away with payment, and after I'd made payment I told the person (Christina) that after that text I felt a little warry about doing business with them in the future. Well, she was sure to remove any doubts I had about finding another appliance repair shop. She launched into me about how they're trying to run a business and "with all due respect" it had been three days since they performed the service. I couldn't get a word in, and nearly immediately with voice raised she told me "we're not going to get anywhere if we keep talking over each other, so I'm going to send you the receipt and if you think you can get better service elsewhere you're welcome to try." and hung up the phone. Christina, or whatever your name was, you earned this review for ApplianceASAP! I would have let it go if you'd just said something like - "yeah, that text was a little harsh. I'll pass on the message to accounting. I know you're a good customer and thanks for calling to make the payment today." But, nope, you instead raised your voice and talked over me, then tried to gaslight me. Congrats, and happy Friday! read more

May I be the first to express how shocking and non-customer centric this business is. I have never dealt with a company that is so pathetic in customer services than ASAP. I have a faulty dishwasher which was seen to by their technician mid December, who left and stated parts were needed to be ordered. Two weeks later, I get a call to have the technician come to the house to replace the part needed. After explaining that any appointment needs to be done at 3pm I was not offered this option. A week later, I get a call asking to come and fit the part again I express the need to have this done at 3pm, again they were not willing to accommodate my request Finally third call later, we lock on a date and time for Friday between 4 & 6pm... their technician arrives 7:30pm to repair the machine, delaying our departure for the weekend which was supposed to be Friday and now moved to Saturday. We leave for the weekend and on our return we use the machine only to have this leaking still... Trying to reschedule this and again for after 3pm seems to be an issue and the only time is 4pm on Friday 25th - OMG. I have asked to speak to a manager three times and was never allowed this, I asked the receptionist to get the manager to return my call. Which never happened and just ignored. I have been told that there is no manager on at the store. Worst experience... read more

Jeremy is knowledgeable and professional. They are very busy and the wait, as with everyone good, can be long, but he's worth the wait if you want things dine right. read more

Great experience all around. Good people on the phone to make an appointment. Highly skilled and knowledgeable repair person. "V" serviced our washer. He did an efficient job if diagnosing the issues. Did an immediate repair, and ordered a needed part. I was contacted as soon as the part came in, and the rest of the repair was completed within the estimated timeframes. I loved their timeliness and follow through. Great repair experience! Highly recommended. read more

Top notch- Will be the first place I go for future repairs. "V" knew his stuff and was on top of it. Communicated well and worked to control costs and took extra steps to diagnose the issue fully before trying to apply fixes (and costs). Will note that this is the second company I chose and the first was unable to properly diagnose and solve the issue. Don't be tempted to go to other companies for cheaper visit fees- It's not worth it from my experience. read more

Our favorite repairman who previously fixed all our appliances as an independent contractor, recently associated with ASAP... the hoops to jump through just to schedule him were many. He ended up telling us to just buy a new appliance as it would be less than the repair cost. Still love my technician, but ASAP itself left much to be desired. I heard ASAP has since closed. read more

Since i can't get Appliance ASAP to return any of my calls, i am forced to come here to dump out my frustrations with their lack of communication and customer service. I paid $271+ (not including the $115+ diagnostic fee) to have my dishwasher repaired in October 16, 2020. Within 10 minutes of having my dishwasher "repaired", i loaded it up and turned it on. Same exact noise. Same exact problem. NOT repaired. I reached out immediately to the repairman to let him know it wasn't working. He gave me a few tips (that didn't work) and then essentially went silent. I have been leaving messages for 3 1/2 weeks now trying to get this issue resolved. I've asked to speak to the owners, left messages, and they do not even have the professionalism to return a call, let alone my money. Very, very frustrated with this business. Save yourself the trouble and keep looking for a reputable repairman. read more

Stellar experience with these guys. Made an appt online for the following weekend after my dumbass removed a screw on the heat shield of my dryer. The drum actually dropped a bit and I was unable to get the screw back in so I couldn't actually dry my clothes without metal grinding as the drum turned. I was trying to do some spring cleaning and clear out all the lint out and I didn't what the hell I was doing. Fortunately for me, James and ApplianceASAP do. James was able to figure out how to get the screw back into the heatshield without having to take off multiple panels which I had feared. It would have taken more than an hour if he couldn't do it. So I am thankful he knew what to do as he has seen this issue before many times. (Lots of dummy DIYers out there I guess) My one gripe was the cost. It's $95 for them to come out and diagnose the problem. Then an hourly charge. But, that's my punishment for messing around with something I shouldn't have. I had to suck it up and learn from my lesson. The positive to all this was James. He gave me his number and I now have a great and knowledgable contact for all my future appliance needs. James is a true pro and overall my experience with this company was top notch. I am glad I found them on Yelp and thankful for the previous honest reviews being spot on. read more

They sent me an email confirming service and then the day of the appointment, I call to find a time, and a rude woman says, oh we don't have technicians in your area so your appointment has been cancelled and kitchenaid was meant to tell you, not our fault, sorry! How hard would it be to send an email?! Terrible company and customer service read more

Highly recommend this Appliance ASAP! For its fast response, professionalism and great communication. After I called at least 4 companies, Appliance ASAP were able to come out the fastest, in 2 days, versus to wait for other companies for over a week for my Maytag washer repair. Professional personnel on a phone and also technician Shaun. He was friendly, took his shoes off, proper uniform, explained things, knowledgable. BONUS. While we were waiting to test make sure my washer works after repairs, Shaun gladly agreed to help me clean the dryer with the device I had. So now I know how to do that myself. Great job you guys! read more

Very happy with the service I received. The technician gave me something to try to fix the issue with my washing machine to the cost of $3. So far it seems to be working. If not, the next option is well within reason cost wise. They must be good/busy as it took 2 weeks for them to come out. I was told oftentimes people reschedule etc and was highly possible to get an appointment sooner. That didn't happen. Two weeks without a washing machine was a little challenging but with the service I received and cost I am alright with it. read more

I'm a customer for life! 90 degree, July day and my 2-years-young Maytag Fridge-freezer stops making ice, and everything starts to go soft in the freezer! I called Maytag, and they informed me, my warranty had just expired. So Maytag scheduled an appointment for me with the only available licensed Maytag repair in the area: ApplianceASAP, but they were booked 10 days out and the repair fee would be a MINIMUM OF $150! 10 days, no fridge/freezer in July! :( (thankfully, I at least had an old deep freeze, and an old dorm fridge, in the garage to hobble along) I was distraught but prepared for a miserable 10 days. The day after my Maytag phone-call, Larry (super professional and friendly) from ApplianceASAP called to confirm the appointment. He apologized that they were so backed-up due to Covid-19, but he did let me know they had a cancellation, so he could move my appointment up a few days --YAY!!! He quoted the minimum service fee as $110 (not the $150 800-Maytag quoted me) YAY! BEST of all, he recommended some quick troubleshooting with me on the phone, and made a suggestion for a DIY fix (btw, even the 800 Maytag service didn't offer that advice!!) . He told me, if it worked, I could call back and cancel my appointment. The DIY fix worked! Thank you Larry, and ApplianceASAP!!! Sizzling hot days in July, and now my fridge/freezer works YAYYY. FREE advice and FREE fix (that's integrity) and saved me $110!!! WOO HOO! If and when my Maytag appliances break down again, I'm not even going to bother calling Maytag, I'm just going to call ApplianceASAP directly. read more

Aberrant customer service from Christina. Scheduled a service appointment, they reached out to the landlord to confirm, no technician showed up, called after the appointment window and was told they called and left a message (they did not) that they couldn't get in contact with my landlord and needed to cancel. I commented that I wish I hadn't mentioned I was a tenant as it is difficult to connect with my landlord as he is out of the country, Christina chastised me, and then claimed she could not hear me and hung up. I called back 5 times and she did the same thing. I then blocked my number and called, and she could hear me just fine and indicated that because of my comment they would not be able to provide me service at all. read more

As a property manager, I have appliances breaking down on me left and right. To be able to have one vendor that I know is reliable, affordable, fast AND won't waste my time trying to repair something that should just be replaced is a massive weight off my shoulders. Their in-office dispatcher is quick to respond to me, will coordinate directly with my tenants for scheduling, and will even tell me if she feels an appliance may be too old to bother repairing. All of the technicians that I've interacted with have been professional. They call on-site to explain the situation and are always prompt at ordering parts and returning if need be. While I don't love dealing with appliance issues, I do love knowing that when those issues arise I know exactly who to call to get things resolved quickly. read more

We had a very positive experience with scheduling and our repair person, Josh, who came to look at our Maytag dryer. Josh walked us through all the steps he took to troubleshoot the issues and was very technical and detailed in his explanation which we appreciated. It turns out the motor and heating element were beyond repair and would need to be replaced. He gave us an estimate and upon request, helped us weigh both pros and cons of repair or buying new. He was very fair in his assessment and we trust his expert opinion and experience. We appreciated Josh's help and will ask for him by name if we need to call on ApplianceASAP again. read more

We received excellent repair service for our 8 year old Samsung front loading washer. The technician, "V", was, on time, friendly, and very knowledgeable and efficient. 5 star review based on his demonstrated expertise diagnosing the problem, and efficiency installing a new pump in the machine. V also gave us some great tips about our dishwasher and refrigerator ice maker. Appliance issues are not fun, but next time one comes around for us, we'll call ASAP. I highly recommend them. read more

Very disappointed. Called almost two weeks ago to make an appointment. They scheduled me 10 days out and required me to block out three hour window. They also told me it would be $120 for the service call. I had to leave work early to make sure I was available during the three-hour window. The technician never showed. I tried calling customer service 2 and 1/2 hours in. Got voicemail and left a message. Never got a call back; never got a call informing me the technician was running late. Basically I was stood up. I would not recommend this company to anybody else. read more

I had a couple appliances that needed minor repairs. They came out 2 days after I called. James came out (he has been here numerous times) super friendly and goes the extra mile to fix minor things that I didn't even necessarily even know needed to be fixed. In this case my stove didn't even need to be repaired a simmer button was pressed in. I appreciate the honesty and not trying to take advantage to make a quick buck. read more

Our dishwasher (6-7 years old) stopped draining, so we put in an online order after-hours for Appliance ASAP to come out a few days later. We immediately received a confirmation email that they'd be out on the day we requested. That morning, we hadn't gotten a call about when someone would come out, so I called and spoke with Christina, who was lovely and very apologetic that no one had called us to confirm. She confirmed that someone would be out between 9-noon and would call first. Sure enough, Josh called around 10:30 to say he'd be there in about 20 minutes (which he was). He was friendly, knowledgeable, and fixed our broken dishwasher pump in less than half an hour for a very reasonable fee. We would definitely use them again! read more

I have been working with ASAP appliance for years now. They are an important part of my household plan. I can count on Sid and his team to take care of every appliance need I have. Our Refrigerator was not working properly. It was easy to get someone out to diagnose the problem. They ordered the wrong part after waiting a week. And the technician said it would be 5 days for the correct part to come in. It has been 2 more weeks and several phone calls. And still no part or repair!! They have not called up for a follow up or status on the part! We paid for the whole repair hard of time in hopes to expedite the repair. Now we are at 3 weeks in the middle of summer without a working refrigerator!!! read more

From flexible scheduling to great communication from the scheduler and tech, to the friendly, honest, experienced, & knowledgeable tech (Travis) who arrived to diagnose an issue with our freezer, I was very pleased with the experience I had with ApplianceASAP. Highly recommend. read more

We have had technician "V" (Vullnet) from Appliance ASAP, come to our home three times in the past two months... The new refrigerator we bought from Albert Lee was having problems with fluctuating temperatures... Their Customer Service contacted Appliance ASAP who sent "V" to diagnose and, fix the problem we were having... Long story short, it would have been too costly to repair.... "V"and Appliance ASAP reported their findings to Albert Lee and thankfully, Albert Lee replaced it with another new refrigerator! BTW, Albert Lee has great customer service!!' Last week, our microwave/oven combo stopped working.... Since we had such a great experience with "V", we called Appliance ASAP! Once again, we found "V" to be efficient, dependable, knowledgeable, personable and most professional! We couldn't be more pleased with Appliance ASAP and especially Vullnet!!! Outstanding service!!! Thank you!!! read more

The five stars is for Jeremy, our technician. He came back the following day to fix our refrigerator with the part needed. This service is not asap, however, I think we waited 3 days for the first appointment. Which is a long time when your refer is not working. Jeremy saved us a lot more time! read more

Many have tried and all had failed! For five years our Viking dual fuel range has terrorized our home. It would spontaneously turn on the ignition to the burners. It had the main circuit board burn out. The oven lights would burn out frequently as well as short out the oven. We spent over $1500 trying to have all fixed. Finally, the Viking website recommended service providers listed: appliance ASAP.com If you need it done right call Brett Johnson. He spent 3 hours tracing all the wiring in the range and found the causes. He fixed all and it only cost $600! Even better, he was truly honest and nice. read more

The ice maker in our fridge stopped working. I was able to schedule a visit from ApplianceASAP easily over the phone. Jeremey was very knowledgeable and professional; he diagnosed the problem quickly and made the necessary repairs. ps. I won't be renewing my home warranty. read more

Not my favorite experience, but not the worst either. The tech was great. It took three trips I think to get my fridge fixed completely - and it was pretty expensive. The fridge is garbage - don't ever buy kitchenaid I guess. But repairs are so expensive now I wonder if it just encourages a more disposable society. Over seven years I must have paid for this unit twice - and it was a pretty expensive machine to begin with. read more

I had KA hood under warranty; the hood was brand new but did not provide any air suction when it is turned on. KA sent this company to fix it. Steve showed up. He dropped the filter 3 times & caused one dented. He could not diagnose the issue & said he would do some follow-ups. He also promised that he would replace my filters. Two days later he called, saying the filters are not covered under my warranty. I mentioned how about the key reason for his visit (no air suction), he just hang up the phone & I never heard back from him. Later I called KA; their customer service team immediately promised to sending me the filter replacement broke by Steve. They also sent another company, who fixed my issue in 5 minutes. Overall, he lacked knowledge & good client service skills. read more

We had tried troubleshooting our warm refrigerator but frosty freezer via the Internet for 2 days but still felt like something was wrong (the fridge wasn't the right temperature still) so we figured it was time to call in the professionals. Reading all the Bothell/Kirkland/Woodinville appliance repair reviews on Yelp left me confused. And most of the top-rated folks we called couldn't come until Monday. It was Wednesday and we didn't want to wait too many days with perishables in the fridge. My husband saw an Appliance ASAP van in our neighborhood so called them and they were able to come Thursday. Then another neighbor recommended I call Seattle Home Appliance (Bothell store). So I booked a Friday appt. with them and had my husband cancel the Thursday appt. with ASAP. After some confusion on our end, we realized that ASAP was previously Seattle Home Appliance Service and was now contracted to handle Seattle Home Appliance's service calls. After a few laughs over the phone, we got our Thursday appt. rebooked since it was the same folks after all. I was rather apprehensive about the service. We had not had good service call experiences in the past (avoid Sears!). I worried we might get shoddy service again or have to pay gobs of money for a fix... I got a call from Matty saying he was 10 minutes away from coming and then he showed up on time between the window I was quoted. He was super knowledgeable about our refrigerator, listened to our explanations/attempts to repair it ourselves, figured out what had happened (our freezer door had been left open for an extended time and trying to keep the refrigerator cool had overwhelmed the fridge), and then showed me the clues/evidence he saw of what was going on and assured me that we had actually done the fix ourselves. We just hadn't given the fridge enough time to cool back down. As a bonus, Matty wrote notes down back to my engineer-type husband (who had written down his own notes for the service guy to read/review) who was at work so he could know what happened. I am a little bummed to be out $85 for the service call but at the same time grateful for the peace of mind it bought. Matty also assured me that we'd get 30 days warranty on this particular service issue should it not be resolved. But 2 days later, our fridge is completely back to normal AND I feel empowered to look for the same clues and problem solve the next time. Surprisingly, the skeptic in me also feels much better about service calls going forward. The next time one of our appliances breaks down (hopefully never), at least, we'll know who to call. Thanks ASAP and Seattle Home Appliance. (This review is going under both stores Yelp accounts.) read more

UPDATE 12/10/16: I ended up scrapping the dryer because it still didn't work after 6 weeks of trying to repair it. A few weeks after I posted my original review, the owner reached out to me personally. He apologized and offered to refund me in full for the repair AND the original service call! I was pleasantly surprised at his effort to make up for my bad experience. I'm upgrading my review from 1 to 2 stars. Original review: ---------------------------- HORRIBLE! They don't schedule repairs on weekends, despite what their website says. I had to take a day of vacation so I could get my dryer fixed. The technician cancelled that day because he hurt his back. So I wasted a day of vacation. The next week he came back and installed the motor, but they ordered the wrong belt. Still can't use the dryer. 2 weeks later, they can come back and finish the job. Trying to schedule service is impossible. 6 weeks without a dryer is unacceptable. SHEER INCOMPETENCE!!! I will NEVER use this company again! read more

After battling with a front load washer for a few days we decided to let the professionals handle it. After calling a couple places ASAP was the only one able to come our in less than 5 days AND worked on LG appliances. Brett was our rep who came out and didn't make me feel like an idiot for trying to fix it myself. He advised me that it was not a 'typical' repair or something that he usually comes across. True or not he allowed me to keep my 'man card' at home. The rates are up there but you get the service that you pay for so the value is there. Thank you ASAP! read more

Like others, I had a great experience with the folks at ASAP. I handled all of the scheduling via email and was able to get a block of time scheduled. The technician came during that period and was very friendly and professional. He was a pleasure to talk to and was obviously very knowledgeable in relation to ovens in general but also specifically to Viking. Would recommend and use again. read more

Not ASAP at all. We are selling our house and needed our microwave fixed ASAP. Not only did we pay the amount it would take to replace the entire unit (it's an expensive microwave) when they finally got the part and could "fit us in" the microwave only worked long enough for the repair person to walk out the door. When I called to let them know that our microwave is still not working, there was no urgency on their part to schedule someone to fix it. When they finally "fit us in" weeks later and the service man then realized that no one ever ordered the replacement part for our microwave. Now we need to wait even longer to get another part in and try to reschedule with them this is taken months... it will now bleed into the new owner taking ownership of our house ...that is not ASAP. We should have bought a new microwave and not trusted Appliance Asap Repair. read more
