I recently moved to Houston and purchased a washer, dryer, and refrigerator for my new home just three days ago. To start on a positive note, the salesperson (DJ) was very kind and helpful, and the delivery team--Tyrone and another gentleman whose name I didn't catch--were professional and went above and beyond. Unfortunately, the appliances themselves have been problematic from the start. The refrigerator had issues at delivery, and the washer malfunctioned on day one. I am now only a few days into owning these items. After calling and not receiving a response, I went into the store on the second day. I was told that because the appliances come with a one-year manufacturer warranty, there is nothing the store can do to assist. I asked about their return policy, as the items were not functioning as expected. Their paperwork (and the sales person) stated that returns can be made for exchange or store credit. However, I was told they could not exchange or offer store credit for this item (the washer) "because it is in high demand," which directly contradicts the stated policy. The washer does not function properly. It fills with water for about 10 seconds and then stops, as if it cannot properly sense the load. If I open and close the lid, it will continue to fill in short bursts of six seconds each, but it will not run a full wash cycle. At best, I can get it to spin, meaning clothes get wet but are never actually washed or rinsed. I was told I must go through the manufacturer warranty process. While that may be standard for older appliances, it is unreasonable for a brand-new unit that failed on the first day of use. I am not comfortable keeping a washer that was defective from the start. The refrigerator is visually great, but the water line for the ice maker leaked all over the floor during installation. The delivery team initially believed an incorrect water filter was installed, removed it, and advised me to order the correct one. I used the QR code inside the fridge to order a replacement, but after installing the new filter, it still leaks. Upon closer inspection, the threading and alignment appear to be defective, preventing a proper seal. As a result, the water dispenser and ice maker are unusable. The store's response to a one-day-old purchase being "not our problem" is extremely disappointing and reflects poor customer service. At this point, I am simply asking for functional appliances--either through replacement or proper resolution of these issues. Please look at all reviews including yelp about this place and their main store in North Houston. If you buy from any of their locations you will be subject to dealing with main Houston store for service and management. Our experience with the salesmen Brandon was great! Once we got our appliances delivered we had trouble with new Maytag washer making weird sounds during any cycle. Paula in their service scheduling department does not call back for days, and we had to call twice to get in touch with her, she lacks so much phone etiquette and could not explain basic information about our service time, a whole business work day was lost for us. After the service call and a new belt was put on washer, the noises still persisted. We contacted the store and they put in a "service ticket" and someone (Paula) would call me to schedule service.... 8days later no phone call or voicemail.... I have now been forced by management to still deal with Paula, even though I asked not to. She was even worse than before to deal with and told us that she and her supervisor watched the video I sent of the washer and nothing is wrong with it! We can now pay $80 do have a tech come out to look at it. read more

Initially,, I thought Khi was a good salesperson until days later I realized he mislead me. I've tried calling to speak with the Finance Manager, no returned call. I will take accountability for trusting this young man and failing to read the contract to its entirety (which is hard on that some Ipad and font). There's an early buyout fee of $150 that wasn't disclosed by him. He told me that it's a 6 month same as cash price. I'm okay with paying what I owe, but why LIE to get a sale!! I knew how much I was willing to pay but just be honest! I would never come to this location again. read more

The customer service is awful. I asked the sales person if he had an appliance and he said no but I had previously been told they do so u asked him to check. He had an attitude and when I asked him if he was okay he swore at me and told me to leave the store. I've never have been treated that way. I'm a customer and all I did was ask him to check for an appliance which is the business they are in. I will gladly pay more money to be treated like a human being. I f this is the way in treated when I'm trying to spend money I can't imagine what would happen if I had any issues. I wouldn't shop here or recommend to anyone. read more

I went into this store SUN AUG 27 to buy a fridge for a tenant. Immediately when i went into the store, i asked about a fridge received a price and did not want to pay the price for that particular fridge. The sale associate says just "cut to the chase and give me a price"... Rude... then i continue to you look at options and he then preceding to tell me to "just up the security deposit..." It was at that moment that i left this establishment and bought a fridge from home depot. My husband bought a grey Samsung, bottom door dryer and a hot point white, top door washer for $1,000 flat 2 years ago, no taxes and free delivery. I went today because they're good appliances and got attended by a very arrogant sales person, trying to sell us the basic washer and dryer set for $1,100 plus taxes and charging $100 for delivery. I asked about the refrigerators and they're ALL damaged and used, either huge dents or paint all over them. I compared prices at home depot and they're about $100-$200 more expensive than Home Depot, charging taxes plus the $100 fee for delivery. Went back to Home Depot and delivery was free. Would not recommend- very rude sales people with outrages prices and fees, isn't this supposed to be an outlet?? read more

This is the typical snake oil salesmen. I spent over $1500 for two washers and a dryer. I was reassured and promised when purchasing, that the store would grant two home repair visits at NO CHARGE if there were problems. Guess what y'all ....we had problems. It's been q miracle to get someone on the phone. The voicemail promises a return call in 24 to 48 hours. I left many messages. When I received a return call I was given MORE PROMISES AND LIES. I was told for the first time, no warranty after 20 days, no 2 free visits as promised, and that a manager was not available. They have there money and I have my broken washer and broken promises. Shame on you Appliance Outlet. Shame that you would take advantage of anyone, but especially shameful in during a worldwide pandemic. The extra washer was for my mother. They took her old defective washer and left a brand spanking new DEFECTIVE WASHER!! I'm so very disappointed. I complained and the lady said it Probably came from the manufacturer that way. She said they charge the fee for their warranty work. Got upgraded all the way around here! I initially talked to Lewis about the stove and they got me hooked up with stove and queen bed with frame for my daughters room! Then I needed a washer and dryer and they hooked me up! Got the newest LG washer and dryer with the delicate washer added to it the XL version too! They are awesome I can't wait to try them out! The most horrible experience ever. The sales people are all rude and lazy. No one wants to help and when you do ask for help they seem to get upset. Managers are even worst. I purchased a what was supposed to be a new microwave in a box or at least that's how they sold it. Once we get home we realize it was scratch and dented and the cord was cut. Took it back and they refused to exchange it since we supposedly bought it as a "scratch and dent" which was a complete lie. I called the sales person " Brandon"who sold it and he was no help. Be warned, they're scammers selling broken appliances! They sold me a "brand new" Frigidaire french door refrigerator for $1,147 that was delivered nonfunctional and they won't refund my money or even replace it!! Delivery guys couldn't get it to work, it was beeping and lights flashing and they just left it and blamed my electric outlet! After i wasted more time and money on an electrician call there is nothing wrong with my outlet and the refrigerator still won't work. I found a video online showing the same beeping/blinking and saying its a control board issue but they still won't replace the refrigerator, they just want to file a repair report. Now, I've got a tenant moving in this weekend and a supposedly brand new $1,147 refrigerator that won't even power up. I never would've shopped here after reading all the bad reviews but Home Depot and Lowe's don't have any refrigerators or washer/dryers due to Covid. Was going to buy 2 W/D sets from them for my rentals but not giving them any more money to be stuck with broken, supposedly "brand new" appliances. read more

This company deserves NO STARS!!! decided to use the appliance store because I was buying an appliance for my rental home. Don't believe everything they tell you. I went in there to buy a fridge cash. The guy was persistent in me using a company called American Finance at 4 months no interest. The receipt and negotiation I did was for one amount. However, upon calling for my payoff amount, the finance company said I have to pay them the taxes for the fridge. All along I thought the negotiation of the fridge included taxes. This is a SALES TACTIC!!!!! When I called the actual store, they were useless and didn't bother helping. They said it was my fault because I should've read the contract more carefully. In the end, I was screwed over getting a dented fridge for the same price I could've purchased a brand new, not dented fridge from a Home Depot or Best Buy. Fraudulent Scam Artist I went into the store looking to buy a washer and dryer. The salesman was informed from the beginning it has to be electric. After finding a set I went through Snap Finance. The very next day I find out the dryer is a gas dryer over the phone, so I tell them to cancel everything. Appliance Outlet salesmen, management, and staff tells me they will not cancel the order and I am responsible for paying for something I never received. I call Snap Finance and explain to them that I haven't received anything and I would like to cancel they tell me they will charge me which they did and I have disputed it. These companies are fraudulent and I will continue to fight this and do all necessary legal procedures to handle this. read more

just bought a fridge, pointed the fridge out to the sales person Lamar (so he says his name is), and was told it was a 36" Whirlpool. Asked if he had a fridge that did not have a dent, he went to look at inventory, and said he has one and it will be there tomorrow afternoon. I proceeded with payment, never recieved an invoice, never signed an invoice, was not available during delivery (father was there to open the door for delivery). Good thing my dad was there, he sent me pictures of the WRONG fridge. I receieved a 21 cubic foot 32" Amana fridge, and am told that I basically have to keep. I will be taking this all the way up the chain, and eventually the court system. I notice i'm not the only one with complaints.
