The "warranty" they offer is a joke!!!! Their technician's are NOT CERTIFIED therefore DO NOT KNOW what they are doing or how to diagnose an appliance issue. They will actually damage the appliance themselves then lie and blame you for the damaged appliance. read more

I recently moved to Houston and purchased a washer, dryer, and refrigerator for my new home just three days ago. To start on a positive note, the salesperson (DJ) was very kind and helpful, and the delivery team--Tyrone and another gentleman whose name I didn't catch--were professional and went above and beyond. Unfortunately, the appliances themselves have been problematic from the start. The refrigerator had issues at delivery, and the washer malfunctioned on day one. I am now only a few days into owning these items. After calling and not receiving a response, I went into the store on the second day. I was told that because the appliances come with a one-year manufacturer warranty, there is nothing the store can do to assist. I asked about their return policy, as the items were not functioning as expected. Their paperwork (and the sales person) stated that returns can be made for exchange or store credit. However, I was told they could not exchange or offer store credit for this item (the washer) "because it is in high demand," which directly contradicts the stated policy. The washer does not function properly. It fills with water for about 10 seconds and then stops, as if it cannot properly sense the load. If I open and close the lid, it will continue to fill in short bursts of six seconds each, but it will not run a full wash cycle. At best, I can get it to spin, meaning clothes get wet but are never actually washed or rinsed. I was told I must go through the manufacturer warranty process. While that may be standard for older appliances, it is unreasonable for a brand-new unit that failed on the first day of use. I am not comfortable keeping a washer that was defective from the start. The refrigerator is visually great, but the water line for the ice maker leaked all over the floor during installation. The delivery team initially believed an incorrect water filter was installed, removed it, and advised me to order the correct one. I used the QR code inside the fridge to order a replacement, but after installing the new filter, it still leaks. Upon closer inspection, the threading and alignment appear to be defective, preventing a proper seal. As a result, the water dispenser and ice maker are unusable. The store's response to a one-day-old purchase being "not our problem" is extremely disappointing and reflects poor customer service. At this point, I am simply asking for functional appliances--either through replacement or proper resolution of these issues. I will update this review if the situation is resolved appropriately. read more

The delivery was bad, with scratched walls and poor installation. The refrigerator doors are supposed to close by themselves, but they did not adjust the doors. Left plastic on the appliance for me to take off, and the material is stuck under the door handles . Had to call the manufacturer to come out and make a service call. sold me an extended warranty, and I asked if the warranty was through the mfg and he told me yes, it was not. I think they call that bait and switch. I would not recommend this company. read more

I purchased a Maytag washer and dryer from here on Wednesday, June 3. It was delivered to my house on Friday, June 5, that evening. The dryer went out on Monday, June 7. I called this location to make them aware the same day it went out. They sent a technician out the following day, Tuesday, June 9. I get a phone call saying there is nothing they can do I have to contact the manufacturing company. I made a purchase with you not even a week and there's nothing you can do. You can accept responsibility now, pick the product back up, return my money and you deal with the manufacturing company. You sold me garbage you should pick up the garbage. Then the manager, Leslie, who will not share her last name. She goes by every one knows me Leslie (her words) says she's busy and will finish report by end of day that I can use to contact manufacturing company. I want something now. You took my money immediately not by the end of the day. I knew I should've avoided this place an OUTLET for a reason! Avoided this place! read more

Please look at all reviews including yelp about this place and their main store in North Houston. If you buy from any of their locations you will be subject to dealing with main Houston store for service and management. Our experience with the salesmen Brandon was great! Once we got our appliances delivered we had trouble with new Maytag washer making weird sounds during any cycle. Paula in their service scheduling department does not call back for days, and we had to call twice to get in touch with her, she lacks so much phone etiquette and could not explain basic information about our service time, a whole business work day was lost for us. After the service call and a new belt was put on washer, the noises still persisted. We contacted the store and they put in a "service ticket" and someone (Paula) would call me to schedule service.... 8days later no phone call or voicemail.... I have now been forced by management to still deal with Paula, even though I asked not to. She was even worse than before to deal with and told us that she and her supervisor watched the video I sent of the washer and nothing is wrong with it! We can now pay $80 do have a tech come out to look at it. read more

This place is awesome, everyone here is so welcoming and knowledgeable. Prices are pretty great too! It can be overwhelming buying new appliances when you've never done it before. But the staff here are super patient and they were able to answer my bajillion questions. It's super clean in here too :) (sorry I couldn't remember the names of the people who helped me) read more

Paola is very welcoming and knowledgeable when it comes to her job. She is patient and possesses easily the best customer service in the business. I'd recommend her and this location to anyone looking for appliances in Houston. read more

I went into this store SUN AUG 27 to buy a fridge for a tenant. Immediately when i went into the store, i asked about a fridge received a price and did not want to pay the price for that particular fridge. The sale associate says just "cut to the chase and give me a price"... Rude... then i continue to you look at options and he then preceding to tell me to "just up the security deposit..." It was at that moment that i left this establishment and bought a fridge from home depot. The sales associate was so rude and i refuse to spend money where i am mistreated and customer experience is not at the forefront of their business model. DO BETTER read more

The customer service is awful. I asked the sales person if he had an appliance and he said no but I had previously been told they do so u asked him to check. He had an attitude and when I asked him if he was okay he swore at me and told me to leave the store. I've never have been treated that way. I'm a customer and all I did was ask him to check for an appliance which is the business they are in. I will gladly pay more money to be treated like a human being. I f this is the way in treated when I'm trying to spend money I can't imagine what would happen if I had any issues. I wouldn't shop here or recommend to anyone. read more

This is the typical snake oil salesmen. I spent over $1500 for two washers and a dryer. I was reassured and promised when purchasing, that the store would grant two home repair visits at NO CHARGE if there were problems. Guess what y'all ....we had problems. It's been q miracle to get someone on the phone. The voicemail promises a return call in 24 to 48 hours. I left many messages. When I received a return call I was given MORE PROMISES AND LIES. I was told for the first time, no warranty after 20 days, no 2 free visits as promised, and that a manager was not available. They have there money and I have my broken washer and broken promises. Shame on you Appliance Outlet. Shame that you would take advantage of anyone, but especially shameful in during a worldwide pandemic. The extra washer was for my mother. They took her old defective washer and left a brand spanking new DEFECTIVE WASHER!! I'm so very disappointed. I was told I'd get a return call on Monday of this week....to schedule a repair visit, that I HAVE TO PAY FOR...it's Saturday. Welp...since you won't help or respond. I'll help my fellow consumers who work hard for their money., DO NOT VISIT OR PURCHASE FROM THIS PLACE. Honey they lie when the truth will do!! (Southern girl in me) "CAN YOU HEAR ME NOW?!" My husband bought a grey Samsung, bottom door dryer and a hot point white, top door washer for $1,000 flat 2 years ago, no taxes and free delivery. I went today because they're good appliances and got attended by a very arrogant sales person, trying to sell us the basic washer and dryer set for $1,100 plus taxes and charging $100 for delivery. I asked about the refrigerators and they're ALL damaged and used, either huge dents or paint all over them. I compared prices at home depot and they're about $100-$200 more expensive than Home Depot, charging taxes plus the $100 fee for delivery. Went back to Home Depot and delivery was free. Would not recommend- very rude sales people with outrages prices and fees, isn't this supposed to be an outlet?? read more

Vic sold me a new scratch and dent washer for $700, and it's defective and it won't wash a pair of socks without banging and dancing across the room. The store has a strict no refunds policy. The store has a strict no exchange policy. So he gives you a phone number for some dude that doesn't ever answer and whose mailbox is full and they call that the" warranty department" and you can never get through to them. Big mistake to buy from these guys. read more

Beware of this store. They are deceptive and dishonest. We bought what we thought were 6 new appliances and they sold us 5 new and a refrigerator that was scratched and dented and the drawers were cracked and they told me too bad so sad read more

I have had my lg craft refrigerator for 4 months and I had to pay 70 bucks for a technician to come out and replace fan and entire back panel. This is a $4000 refrigerator!!!!!! Did LG drop the ball or was this scratch and dent item a lemon. Whatever the problem may be I'm disgusted!!!! read more

Appliance Outlet - Appliances & Repair Near Me - Houston, Texas

Great prices that can't be beat. Awesome customer service at the Conroe, TX location!!

Bought a refrigerator last week that was delivered last Friday and doesn't sit properly. Called the store and was referred to their customer service person. Can't help me because there isn't a warranty given and now all sales are "final." So I am stuck with a fancy, expensive refrigerator with no back wheels leaning backwards. Stay away from these people! No service warranty is not worth the small savings. It is going to still cost us additional money to get it right. read more

Appliance Outlet - Terrible Place to purchase stuff! - Appliances & Repair Near Me - Houston, Texas

Bought a washer dryer combo. The washer did not work!!!! I contacted the guy in Conroe in person & by phone in late Nov or early December. Nothing! No results! I emailed also, no reply. I finally just called another location besides the store in Conroe. Long story short istead of standing behind their product... they charged me $69.00 to come hook up a wire. I complained and the lady said it Probably came from the manufacturer that way. She said they charge the fee for their warranty work. I understand that but we bought a Broken Washer and so I dispute the charge. I read bad reviews and should Not have ignored them!!! read more

*****SCAM ALERT***** purchased a fridge from them a couple months ago. The fridge that was delivered was NOT the fridge I purchased. Extensive damage to the front that the sales guy told me had occurred during loading and transfer. Fast forward multiple months later - emails - going by and calling and nothing. I paid nearly new pricing for a fridge that was free of major defects. Bait and switch. Buyer beware!!! read more

The most horrible experience ever. The sales people are all rude and lazy. No one wants to help and when you do ask for help they seem to get upset. Managers are even worst. I purchased a what was supposed to be a new microwave in a box or at least that's how they sold it. Once we get home we realize it was scratch and dented and the cord was cut. Took it back and they refused to exchange it since we supposedly bought it as a "scratch and dent" which was a complete lie. I called the sales person " Brandon"who sold it and he was no help. The warranty lady "Paola" insinuated that I had taken it home cut the cord and dented it myself. Save your time, money and headaches. read more

Be warned, they're scammers selling broken appliances! They sold me a "brand new" Frigidaire french door refrigerator for $1,147 that was delivered nonfunctional and they won't refund my money or even replace it!! Delivery guys couldn't get it to work, it was beeping and lights flashing and they just left it and blamed my electric outlet! After i wasted more time and money on an electrician call there is nothing wrong with my outlet and the refrigerator still won't work. I found a video online showing the same beeping/blinking and saying its a control board issue but they still won't replace the refrigerator, they just want to file a repair report. Now, I've got a tenant moving in this weekend and a supposedly brand new $1,147 refrigerator that won't even power up. I never would've shopped here after reading all the bad reviews but Home Depot and Lowe's don't have any refrigerators or washer/dryers due to Covid. Was going to buy 2 W/D sets from them for my rentals but not giving them any more money to be stuck with broken, supposedly "brand new" appliances. read more

This company deserves NO STARS!!! decided to use the appliance store because I was buying an appliance for my rental home. Don't believe everything they tell you. I went in there to buy a fridge cash. The guy was persistent in me using a company called American Finance at 4 months no interest. The receipt and negotiation I did was for one amount. However, upon calling for my payoff amount, the finance company said I have to pay them the taxes for the fridge. All along I thought the negotiation of the fridge included taxes. This is a SALES TACTIC!!!!! When I called the actual store, they were useless and didn't bother helping. They said it was my fault because I should've read the contract more carefully. In the end, I was screwed over getting a dented fridge for the same price I could've purchased a brand new, not dented fridge from a Home Depot or Best Buy. I will never buy from here again and I will definitely never recommend this company. read more

Fraudulent Scam Artist I went into the store looking to buy a washer and dryer. The salesman was informed from the beginning it has to be electric. After finding a set I went through Snap Finance. The very next day I find out the dryer is a gas dryer over the phone, so I tell them to cancel everything. Appliance Outlet salesmen, management, and staff tells me they will not cancel the order and I am responsible for paying for something I never received. I call Snap Finance and explain to them that I haven't received anything and I would like to cancel they tell me they will charge me which they did and I have disputed it. These companies are fraudulent and I will continue to fight this and do all necessary legal procedures to handle this. read more

just bought a fridge, pointed the fridge out to the sales person Lamar (so he says his name is), and was told it was a 36" Whirlpool. Asked if he had a fridge that did not have a dent, he went to look at inventory, and said he has one and it will be there tomorrow afternoon. I proceeded with payment, never recieved an invoice, never signed an invoice, was not available during delivery (father was there to open the door for delivery). Good thing my dad was there, he sent me pictures of the WRONG fridge. I receieved a 21 cubic foot 32" Amana fridge, and am told that I basically have to keep. I will be taking this all the way up the chain, and eventually the court system. I notice i'm not the only one with complaints. If yall would like to do a class action lawsuit, let me know by contacting me. I called Lamar in Conroe and he went to tell me this was the fridge on the invoice, but I told him this is not the fridge i pointed out in the store. And it's the wrong name brand. Customer service said they were going to fix this... yea right...This place is a scam. read more

Screwed up the delivery 3 times, delivered a different color washer and dryer, left them at my place, promised a solution, didn't have the same models so offered me a different brand and a wine fridge as compensation, delivered a pair of beat up and busted washer and dryer and NO WINE FRIDGE, lied about the whole thing then told me they can't refund my money and just keep lying about a solution.
