After doing some comparative shopping for a gas stove top, I was happy that RC Willey contracted with APPLIANCE INSTALLS for their installations. We soon received a call from their office and it was easy to schedule an appointment. The installers arrived within their promised time window. They have since forged my signature on a digital work order and told my property manager that I refused a repair. 1 - I am not the customer, the property manager is. I have no authority to approve or decline a repair. 2 - I did sign a paper workorder that had nothing but the washing machine install listed. We purchased GE Cafe appliances from RC Willey. We signed up for Appliance Installs LLC to do the install of our appliances. The remodel of our house was not going to take place for a few months as we first had to hire a general contractor. Once we had a GC, we signed a contract with his recommended plumber. Part of that contract was to install the dishwasher. We had forgotten we had already committed to Appliance Installs to do that work. We had AI come to install our range, microwave, and dishwasher shortly after our cabinets were in place. They did a great job on the range and the microwave, but the cabinet maker had not yet created access space to all of the plumbing needed for the dishwasher. AI was very polite and said they would gladly come back at no additional charge to install the dishwasher after the cabinet maker had made access space. The needed work was done in order to install the dishwasher. Our plumber just happened to be there so we had him install the dishwasher. He didn't do a very good job and we had a couple of issues. The plumber came back and tried to improve his installation, but it still wasn't very good. Appliance Installs called us a few days later and asked if we still wanted to have the dishwasher installed. We told them our situation. They said we had paid for them to do the install and they would like to come out and try to correct the poor install by our plumber. Eric Weithofer showed up on time to improve the plumber's work. Eric was sharp, it was obvious he knew what he was talking about. He corrected the crookedness of the dishwasher install that our plumber could not do. He adjusted the height of the washer to make it the same as the cabinet next to the washer. His adjustments greatly reduced the noise of the opening and closing of the washer door as it no longer rubbed against the cabinet. And, more importantly, he corrected the plumbing, so there was no possibility of backflow going into the washer. Another mistake by our plumber. Eric was great! He was friendly and explained everything he did. Everybody with this wonderful company that we had contact with on the phone or by email was also professional and polite. We had Alex install our new microwave we bought from RC Willy. He called at 8:40 said he would be at our house at 9am. He showed up at 9 and had our microwave installed within 30min. He had to take out the old microwave and put it the new one. He was very professional. Took care to cover everything so not to leave a mess. Then made sure we knew how everything worked. read more

Installation guaranteed???? 10 months ago I had Appliance Installs install my dishwasher (Bosch) purchased at RC Willey. They charged me $165 and lasted exactly 10 months at which point the dishwasher "fell out." I took pictures of the two 1/4" screws they used to "install" the dishwasher into my cabinet. The owner called me back and said he would NOT come back and fix the poor install. WOW. What customer service! INSTALLATION GUARANTEED????? That's a JOKE! Seriously I could have installed the dishwasher better than this company. DO NOT USE THEM. They lie. They do a quick install and take your $165 and DO NOT GUARANTEE their install. POOR POOR COMPANY The owner of the company wouldn't even come out to my house to view the install. He has made up his mind that the wood that the screws attached to was rotten. Not so. How can you tell by a phone conversation? Do not believe his reply below. He had no intention of fixing his poor installation. We had no "detailed conversation." Called Mark about a repair to a stove top that all 4 burners would not lite. He told me just to clean the metal spark part with sand paper just like we did to car spark plugs years ago. Window was 12-2 for install. At 2 I heard nothing and called them. Finally they called back saying a tech would be there in 45 minutes. Finally at 3 the installer showed up. When I told the office I was not happy giving up my whole day and they didn't have the respect to call, I think his name was Mark dismissively said "thanks for your understanding" and pretty much hung up. They obviously don't care. I wish companies gave a money guarantee on showing up on time. They give you a window and don't even have the respect to honor that window. read more
