Do not use this company. I would not trust Bubba to change a light bulb in my house. We hired this company to fix a stove top that had one burner not functioning correctly. He came out and thought he fixed it. Burner went out a few days after his first visit. Came back out again and said he had to order a different part. Month and months go by and they keep telling us they are waiting on the part. I am out $700 dollars on 2 visits and the problem is still not fixed. Now they will not return our calls. This company is owned and operated by incompetent scan artists. read more

We called this company out to diagnose two issues: a refrigerator that wasn't cooling properly and an oven that was overheating. The technician came out, confirmed both problems, ordered parts, and left. Shortly after that visit, our refrigerator flooded our house, causing extensive damage. We are now displaced from our house being forced to replace all of our flooring two months before we have our third child which has been incredibly stressful and costly. Given the situation, we requested a refund for the appliance parts that were ordered. Not only was our request met with resistance, but we were also charged a $60 restocking and shipping fee--despite the fact that one of the parts was never even shipped because it was on backorder. Between the lack of accountability, the added fees, and the significant damage we're now dealing with, this experience has been extremely frustrating and stressful. We expected professionalism and care when working with essential home appliances, and unfortunately, that was not what we received. I had an issue with 2 refrigerators, 1 had an ice maker that would only produce crushed ice, when cubes were selected, the other would not even power on. I called Appliance Doctor they set up an appointment, Glenn (Bubba) arrived assessed both refrigerators and gave me a quote for what needed to be replaced, parts came in, He only needed about 45 minutes total to fix both and they were up and running and working as they should, reasonable price, great service and product knowledge I would highly recommend. read more

I was not able to use this service. The proprietor asked to switch to text messages instead of Yelp. Inconvenient but understandable, so I accommodated. Next, they wanted to charge me $89.95 just for the service call, not to actually fix anything. First, why not an even $90? Secondly, they didn't respond about bringing the needed parts and doing the work. "My service call is $89.95 from that point i give you an exact quote on parts and labor" I GET that time is valuable and you don't want to visit and not get paid, but most repair services I've dealt with charge a service fee but apply it to the work if hired. I sent the model information but proprietor insisted that I might not have the full model number (spoiler alert: I did). Turns out, I needed a $9 part and was able to fix it myself in less than an hour. If they would have just offered to fix it for $100 I would have hired them. read more

I sent a repair request for a refrigerator problem through Yelp. Glen (Bubba) responded almost immediately and set up an appointment and he kept it. He uses an appointment service that gives you text reminders as well, so it was easy. He's a knowledgeable and courteous repairman and didn't mind answering my questions and teaching me a bit as he proceeded with the repair. He fixed the immediate issue and will most likely have to come back for a follow on problem but I do not mind paying a professional for their time and repair work. His cost was certainly reasonable and unlike the previous review, his cost was not that far off from the service fee. I will be using him for all my appliance repair needs from now on. read more

Appliance Dr uses factory parts, not parts from unreliable sources so you know you're getting the right parts to complete the repair. Fast, reliable, careful & tidy. Definitely recommended read more
