Fixed the old fridge ourselves. It's running fine. Requested a refund on the service call and he told us tough luck. Save your $$ and go elsewhere.

Keep in mind, we told him it dried fine on timed dry, just didn't work when we used the sensor drying option. Didn't matter, he said we needed to do that before he could help, and he billed us $75 and left. I called him back the next day and said we'd done his test and the clothes did not dry on the sensor drying option with the vent hose disconnected. He came back and complained to my wife that he didn't have time to sit there and watch a load dry (as if we'd ask him to do that). In short, we were charged $75 for a guy who refused to do literally anything. In the end, he didn't really check anything and defaulted to 'need to replace the motherboard'. No, it's a dampness sensor issue, brah, but whatever. Don't ever call these guys, they will afford you no help for your issue and charge you for it. Total joke. One of the possibilities was the use of humidifiers. I had just purchased and started using 2 new ones. I turned them off, waited 4-5 hours and turned on the burners. Blue flame all around. I know it cost Staats a service call but their helpful honesty solved my problem and saved me the money. Thanks Staats. You will get all my future business.
