Tan scheduled an appointment with my tenant to look at fixing the oven not heating up. He determined the problem and contacted me with parts and labor costs. The cost also included replacing a clip to hold a stove ignitor. I approved the total repair cost and he ordered the parts and scheduled a final visit to complete the repairs. My tenant was happy and I was relieved to have the stove and oven fixed with minimal hassle. read more

Best in San Diego, hands down! Tan is as professional as they come and diagnosed and repaired my Maytag Plus at a reasonable rate.

I discovered Appliance Care Experts through Angis. My refrigerator and freezer were not cold enough and I knew something was wrong. To make it more complicated, this is on a boat. Tan immediately replied to my request and we scheduled for the next day's afternoon. He called the morning of the next day and asked if he could come in the morning. Of course, I said. He came to the boat and diagnosed the problem as a bad thermostat which he happened to have in his van. He got it, put it in, and now a month later it continues to run perfectly. Thank you, Tan. read more

Tan is very nice person and he knows what he needs. The price for on site quote is reasonable. He repaired the oven door for me with the part I ordered which didn't match very well. The OEM part is discontinued. To my surprise, he came and tried it again with another OEM part I ordered without further charge. Defijitely recommend Tan! read more

Customer service was amazing from beginning to end. I was having issues with my dishwasher and washer so called plumbers on yelp, but they advised I call an Appliance Specialist. Found this via Yelp and Tan was able to schedule me within a reasonable amount of time and came at the time he advised. He diagnosed both appliances and gave straightforward and realistic recommendations at a reasonable price. He scheduled a time at a later date to fix my washer and replaced the pieces that were chewed out by rats. Replaced pieces have a limited warranty which is reassuring. read more

I came across ACE via a referral. My washer needed a new gasket so I contacted the business owner, Tan, and he replied within minutes. I explained to him my problem & right off the bat he knew exactly what parts he needed to complete the job. Tan even went out of his way to get the parts delivered earlier so that I didn't have to go too long without a washer. His workmanship was extremely impressive! It took him very little time to work on my Samsung washer which I've heard can take up a lot of time to work with the Samsung brand. Overall, great customer service, fast communication, affordable prices & professional! I highly recommend ACE!! read more

My dryer wasn't working. Tan showed up next day, fixed my dryer in less than 30 minutes, and showed me the problem. He even recommended how to keep it from happening in the future and made me aware that my dryer will need more servicing in 2-3 years but nothing that required immediate work. His pricing was higher than expected but still less than I would have paid with another vendor. He even dealt with my grumpy attitude after a long day at work. I would recommend this business and plan to use him in the future. read more

Tan was great! Diagnosed the issue within 10 minutes and fixed it within 30. Cost was under $200. Also really appreciated his honesty in saint my dryer did not need work, just my washer, since I wasn't sure which of the two it was. I'm extremely happy with the work! read more

Tan, of Appliance Care Services, did a swift repair on my clothes dryer when the control panel had gone wonkey. BUT he went above and beyond that! While he was here a pipe spontaneously burst under my sink. Tan heard the flood coming over my tile floor toward the carpet and helped me by shutting down the water faucet under the sink and helping stop the water from flooding the carpet! Have never been so thankful for the timing of needing a repairman. Thank you, Tan! read more

My water and ice dispenser stopped working. Tan has the lowest estimate ...and believe it or not that was all he charged because all I needed to do was defrost the fridge. He could've easily faked a repair and charged me more as I wasn't even home. He wouldn't even accept a tip. Honest professional...they don't make them like this anymore. read more

Finally I found a truly good, honest appliance repair service! We have an old Kenmore laundry center that even Sears won't repair. We did not want to replace. The new ones are pretty much junk. Tan had ours up and running for a very reasonable price. We are very happy campers read more
