I was fortunate enough to meet Richard Landen while I was there. Richard was very knowledgeable, courteous, and helpful. I told Richard I needed to discuss a few of the model options with my wife, and I'd call him with a decision within a week. I phoned Richard a few days later, and told him which model Subzero we wanted to order. He couldn't have made the whole purchase any easier. Richard emailed me the receipt, and told me the new Subzero would be available for pickup in a few days. Richard was kind enough to inform me that if I selected a certified installer Subzero adds an extra year to the warranty! So I figured I had better do just that, and I went with Top Tier Appliance Installations which is owned by John Yeager. If there was ever an appropriately named business, it's John's business! John and his crew really were top tier! From keeping me apprised of their arrival time to protecting my floors removing the old SubZero, to being diligent as they carefully lugged these 800 pound machines (both the old Subzero and the new Subzero) up and down my stairs without damaging my home! The installation job they did on my new Subzero was spectacular! I would highly recommend John and his team without reservation! I'm a very particular guy, and John and his team are definitely welcome back in my home anytime. Going forward, anytime I need new appliances, I will be calling Richard at Tee Vax to buy them, and John at Top Tier Appliance Installations to install them!

Our LG washer stopped working and started throwing a tE error and after some internet research…read morefound out it meant there was a problem with the thermastor. So we ordered the part online and when it arrived I tipped the washer backwards and held it while my wife shimmied under it to swap the part. Well that fix lasted less than one wash cycle before the machine started in with this tE error again. So my wife called Affordable Appliance Repair and the very friendly staff sent Miguel to our house. When Miguel arrived of course the tE error didn't happen while he was there. So he told us to take a video of it next time. Didn't take long before we had that video and Miguel was back and working on solving our problem again. We weren't even charged for the second visit. He wasn't sure about the thetmastor we used being the correct part, so he did some very diligent research and called the manufacturer. He found the problem, apparently it was the door gasket being cracked leaked water onto the thermastor causing it to malfunction. While he gave us a very reasonable quote for parts and labor, being the holiday season we just couldn't pay it at this time. However we managed a temporary fix using some waterproof Gorilla tape which hopefully will hold until we can get it properly repaired. The office staff were very informative and communicative and Miguel did a great job diagnosing the issue, I don't think we would have ever figured it out ourselves.

Well, if you know what you need and where to find it this isn't that bad of a store. The problem is…read moreif you need help, or if you need a cart or something like that, it can be a real pain. Spent 15 minutes, looking for a cart and no one could help me find one. I almost gave up. I was then directed to go out in the parking lot. I found where all the flat carts are - way out in the parking lot. Because they are hard to move, they put it on the customer to bring them in from the front. So if you're in the appliances aisle or decide to buy something that's in a big box, you need to go directly to the outer parking lot and fetch yourself a flat cart. Not joking.

If I could rate them zero stars, I would. Long story short: JW Floors in Santa Rosa was…read moresubcontracted by The Home Depot in Rohnert Park to install all of my flooring--laminate and tile. JW then subcontracted the job out to others who were completely unqualified for the work. It took MONTHS for the floors to be finished, and even when they were "done," I had to spend more time and money hiring someone else to fix their mistakes, because I didn't trust JW to touch anything else in my new home. They eventually had to come back for heavy-duty repairs because of major errors during the install. As a result, I ended up with damaged walls and floors--the very things I had just paid for. I see zero value in The Home Depot, JW Floors, or any of their contractors. The Home Depot was also a nightmare throughout the process, which has guaranteed I'll never give them my business again. The photos attached are from JW Floors AFTER they had "fixed" the mistakes. I didn't want them doing any painting or spackling because I had no faith in their ability and didn't want more damage. These photos show the quality of work they consider acceptable. When I asked the person sent to "help" the sub-subcontractors if he was proud of the final result, he actually said yes. If this is what they consider prideful work, they need to reassess. My advice: hire local. Find someone you can actually talk to and reach when there's a problem. This entire experience showed me how little anyone involved cared. They didn't even bother pretending to care. Terrible. 0/5.
