So far I have not had any negative experiences with AppleOne, Within a week of meeting them, they lined me up with two interviews, once which I accepted another week in. Now in the negotiation process, they are very receptive to my feedback, and will always bat with what is best for you as an employee. Lynnette Alexander deserves so much more credit as my main recruiter as well. She is not only easily accessible, but responds immediately withing a 24 hour time period. She is a valued partner in my success, and I appreciate finding a recruiter who believes in building that relationship rather than churning out job seeker after job seeker like most recruiters do. I love working with them currently, and look very much forward in doing so in the future. read more

Denise Coulson at AppleOne is AMAZING!! She's the only recruiter I've ever worked with, and she set the bar sky high. From day one, she's been patient, encouraging, and genuinely invested in my job search. She never made me feel like just another client; she listened, supported, and guided me every step of the way. That kind of consistency and genuine care is rare, and it shows in the results she delivers. Thanks to her, I landed a role that truly feels like the right fit. Denise brings incredible value not just in placing people, but in the way she builds trust and confidence with her clients-- something you can't teach. If you want a recruiter who goes above and beyond and makes you feel seen, Denise is THE ONE you want on your side. read more

Denise was so helpful and I recommend her to all my friends looking for a job! So happy with my job now.

Tanya was a big help in getting me employed with a great company. When I applied for my current position, Tanya not only got back to me that same day, she explained what the process would be step-by-step and e ven curated a lovely cover letter for me. I was able to get all my onboarding paperwork done and start within under 1.5 weeks! Thank you so much to Tanya and everyone else at AppleOne for helping me get situated! read more

ZERO STARS!!! I have worked with AppleOne off and on for 10 years - Ventura and Santa Barbara branches. Until 2020, I had AMAZING Staff Manager, assignments and over all great experience. Cannot say the same anymore. I will NEVER WORK WITH APPLEONE AGAIN! Starting with their disregard for their "employee's on assignment" and COVID-19 and continuing this year. I have never been treated so horribly. I do not have health insurance thru AppleOne because they gave me the wrong enrollment dates. Even though this was their error, they would not allow me to enroll when the mistake was discovered. The payroll department has issued my weekly paycheck incorrectly for the last 6 months. Due to their error, I know owe the IRS a TON OF MONEY. The Staffing Manager I am currently assigned to, treats me... honestly this is inappropriate, but fits best- a prostitute and she is my pimp. She only cares about the money she is making off of me. It's truly disgusting. Recap = I have no health insurance and I'm so stressed about my financial situation now that I owe the IRS $$$$ and AppleOne doesn't care because they are making their money. read more

I had a terrible experience. They had placed me at a really good company (Community West Bank). Unfortunately they forgot to run a background check. So to save face with the client, they had me lie and tell them I had gotten a new job elsewhere. Well promising me that they would find me a new position. When all said and done they refused to work with me after I did everything they asked. I feel this is a bad way to treat their candidates and a bad way to do business with a good client. Thank you Santa Barbara Branch!! read more

Allison W. from AppleOne was an absolute pleasure to work with! She made the process so easy and she found me a new position with great pay and benefits within a week. She went above and beyond and was very communicative, even when I had questions over the weekend. Cannot recommend Allison or Appleone enough. read more

Great experience! Started with AppleOne in Nov. 2013. Katie did a great job of getting to know me as a professional and found opportunities that fit my style. She was great at reaching out to me frequently; letting me know of possible upcoming assignments and giving me all the details so I could decide if it would be an opportunity I'd feel comfortable taking, or if I should pass and seek alternative positions. The job market is tough, and AppleOne was the only way I was getting any interviews for permanent employment. Thanks to AppleOne, I am now hired full time with a great company. Thank you so much to Katie, Sheri, and all the rest at AppleOne! read more

Truly one of the best Apple ones I've worked with. Staff is friendly and welcoming and willing to listen to your concerns. I was set up with a great organization that moved me from a temp to a permanent employee and I was able to study in the evenings to do my school work. I completed two masters degrees with the help of apple one and my current employer. Thank you again Apple One! read more

Really grateful for AppleOne, each time I've used them they've been great. They've helped me out during a few transition times and helped me find my current job of my dreams. I've worked with Ali who was kind, helpful, patient and most importantly LISTENED to what I wanted out of a job. She wasn't trying to just drop me in somewhere, but instead truly listened to my preferences and was patient when I went through multiple interviews, but declined because I thought it may not be a great fit. Ultimately she helped me secure my current job and walked me through the entire process. She even checked in with me on my first day and a couple weeks after to ensure I was settling in ok. Thank you Ali for what you do and thank you AppleOne for my new career!! I couldn't be happier. read more

A big shout out to Ali A. For all the extra cares shes taken to ensure I'm on board with my workplacement and for how fast she replies to all my questions. Her professional assistant and her friendly enthusiasm are amazing and I feel supported through every step I take. Thank you for providing me with this opportunity! read more

I had an absolutely incredible experience with AppleOne. I have been having a particularly difficult job search (2 months, 50+ resumes/cover letters sent) and was starting to feel hopeless. I went into AppleOne and met with Ali, who instantly did a phenomenal job of giving me some hope, complimenting me on my resume, experience, and skills, and making me feel comfortable throughout the process. After leaving, Ali reached out to me within the next couple days with an opportunity and got me an interview. However, before that interview even happened she reached out to me about another position at a company I specifically asked for. The company hired me for a temp job on the spot and now I have a chance to interview for the full time position and I am heavily favored. Thanks a million times over to Ali and to AppleOne for giving me an amazing opportunity during this difficult time! read more

My experience with AppleOne has been great. I had been looking for an opportunity for a while and after I contacted AppleOne, Marco helped me connect with an amazing opportunity where my profile was a great fit and I eventually got converted to a full-time employee. Marco was very responsive to any requests I had and addressed any issues I faced as soon as he could. He also helped me get a decent pay for the position I was in and I received all my paychecks on time. Would definitely recommend AppleOne to any job seeker. read more

I'm a college student and this was my first experience with a temp agency which was AppleOne. Marco was the one who helped me through the process, he was very responsive to emails and answered all the questions I had. He spoke to the company I was applying to and gave me all the information he could about the job. The experience was fantastic and made me feel confident applying for a job. read more

My mother & I have both been employed through this agency in the past. They do have some competition in town (Robert half/office temps) & others too probably. All the folks who work here are really nice (in our experience). I don't know how they are doing considering the current economy but we'll be signing up with them again this winter. read more

I had my profile in AppleOne online for over 2 years and never find anything that catch my attention. A friend encourage me to visit one of their branch and talk to them so I went to Santa Barbara and spoke to Katie Castillo. OMG I loved the experience, she was super friendly, we talked about my prior jobs, my experiences, my goals etc. She opened my eyes in so many ways and gave me lots of ideas. She review my resume and found me an amazing job opportunity in less than 2 weeks. I am so grateful to Katie and all the team at AppleOne Santa Barbara they are an amazing team. I can't believe it took me so long to visit them because that´s exactly what I was looking for. Geisel T. read more

AppleOne has been great. I recently relocated and thus needed a job. The onboarding process with AppleOne is very smooth and efficient. They really seem to want to get to know each of their clients to best match them with potential jobs. My recruiter, Natalie, is very responsive and supportive. All around, great experience. read more

I have to say thank you Sheri, Katie, Jessi and the rest of the lovely staff at Santa Barbara AppleOne. The staff genuinely cares about me and my career goals. What an amazing experience! read more

Sheri is amazing! She knows exactly what position is perfect. I've worked with Sheri since 2012, and I'm so happy with AppleOne in Santa Barbara. I recommend them to anyone wanting a great experience. The staff is friendly and extremely knowledgeable. read more

Apple One is a great place as soon as you walk in. Everyone is very nice and makes it feel comfortable. I worked with Katie Castillo and was incredibly impressed. She went above and beyond to not only make sure that we were always in contact but that I was constantly updated with the latest opportunities that were tailored for me and my career goals. I cannot express enough what a fantastic job she did attentively listening and translating our initial discussions into real-world positions that I was personally interested in. There's a great job out there for you and she'll find it! read more

I cannot judge the entire Service, but they have an employee, who is more than incompetent... Here is my experience with Tanya! Filled AppleOne's application last year, don't remember the exact day. From then on have not received any offers any calls. Recently there were positions that found through indeed.com and applied, which redirected me to appleone's page. So I made a phone call to inquire more info about the positions. Tanya who supposed to be working with me, since she had interviewed me when I filled the app for the appleone, was not there (at the meeting). I was offered to send her an email with my questions. 4 days later I still didn't get any calls or emails. Finally after calling to appleone and living a message again, got a phone call from her. She had no clue what positions I was interested in, haven't even checked her email. And to my question, have you got a chance to check your email, since I have all the details in it (she called me when I was in a store, caught me off gard), she responded rudely; I receive 1000 emails per day, I cannot possibly remember all. After making me wait for 4 days to get back to my questions, she is just randomly picking the phone and out of blue calls me... Very disappointing. I told her take me off from your list, from appleone. Advice: I would suggest any other employment agency BUT AppleOne! read more

I was in desperate need of work and came across an ad from AppleOne. After meeting the staff and going through a couple of procedures they found me a fantastic job. It is good paying, close to home and I enjoy the people I work with. The staff at AppleOne are great and feel like my new family! Thanks go out to Kati and Marly for accepting me and getting me my great job!! Robert read more

I signed up with AppleOne less than a month ago, and I've already been placed at a job! Not only did they find me a position so quickly, but it is with the company I have been trying to get in with for over a year. Ashley is my Staffing Consultant, and she has been nothing but amazing. She is so sweet, and really listened when she was getting to know me to try and find the right fit for me (and the potential employer). Ashley is extremely organized, and communicative. We spoke often and she always checked to see if I was interested in a position before submitting me to anything, which made me feel like she really did care and wasn't trying to find me just any job. I would absolutely recommend trying AppleOne out, especially if you get lucky enough to be paired up with Ashley! read more

Don't waste your time. I went to Apple One thinking they could help me find ANYTHING. That was not the case. After doing all the paper work and wasting a couple hours of my time, nothing ever came of it. I called week after week with the same response, we have nothing for you. Even with a respectable resume and a 4 year degree. There job is to get you a job or at least an interview. Neither were acquired. read more

Signing up with apple one was a complete waste of time. I've been signed up with them for 2 months. The only call I've received is for a cold calling temp job that lasted 2 days. I don't know how people rating this company 5 stars. Maybe it's just their employees leaving reviews. read more

Went through 3 temp agencies when I was struggling to find a job after graduation. Without any doubt, AppleOne was the best in attentiveness in job opportunities along with email updates on the daily. Marly M. was great help and worked with me to find a job that I would not only pay decently, but was something I wanted to do. Would recommend! read more

Katie found me a long-term gig doing work I enjoy for a great company full of awesome people--I never would've gotten my foot in the door without her. While I was waiting for confirmation on the long-term job, Katie was super-encouraging and found me a perfect short-time assignment to keep me going. -- Update: 2/17/2016 -- The long-term gig Katie found me became permanent back in November. I have had bad experiences with temp agencies in the past. However a friend who works at UCSB told me the best way to get a position there as in a job I wanted was to go through AppleOne in Santa Barbara . Natalie is awesome! She was very friendly and understanding. She helped me through a bad layoff situation and when I had found another position on my own that ended up not working out she welcomed me back and worked quickly to find a great position at UCSB that I start next week. So thankful for Natalie and her hard work. Everyone in the office is very friendly as well in the times I was not able to talk to Natalie both Ali and Sherry were able to assist me. Highly recommend AppleOne. read more

Had, and continue to have wonderful experience with this company. Always extremely friendly and professional, and always helpful with any and all of my questions. They found me a position, submitted me for that position, and had me working a few days later. Can't say enough good things about the "Applettes"!!! read more

The people at AppleOne are very genuine, honest, and hard working. Katie helped me in every aspect of the job hunt. She politely made ingenious suggestions for my resume. She answered all of my weird questions like do you think my hair is unprofessional or what should I wear. When I would email with a question I was amazed at how fast of a response I would get, some literally 3 minutes later ( I wanted to screen shot my phone as proof and put it on here but am having technical difficulties). She had a full repertoire of job prospects for me to choose from, and in the end I have found the perfect position. I am so happy and thankful for the help provided by AppleOne. Not only was Katie great, but the manager of AppleOne is also a gem. They understand how stressful a job search can be and have all kinds of tools to take the pressure off. Thank you Katie and AppleOne!! I love my new job : ). read more

Ashley W. was great! She was extremely knowledgeable and very helpful throughout the entire process. She was very helpful during all of the assessments and contacted me with multiple job opportunities. She really listened to what type of job I was looking for and helped me find the right one. There was a time where there weren't any jobs that were of interest to me and I appreciated her honesty and patience. I would like to point out in regards to some of the people giving out negative reviews that the AppleOne associates can only do so much. It's not necessarily the best economy and that's not their fault. Ashley always responded to emails and phone calls in a timely and professional manner. I would definitely recommend Ashley! read more

As a long time Contract Worker for the past 7 years; I have worked with several Employment Service Agencies. Robert Half/Accountemps, Select, Star Staffing and Volt...I have worked with them all. I believe AppleOne's services goes above and beyond the norm. AppleOne's Staff is pleasant and professional. Katie, Jessi and Natalie are great people to work with and they provide excellent response time in processing expense reimbursements, contact information updates and feedback from your assignment. You will even get an email during your assignment to see how it is going. AppleOne has the Contract Worker at heart and not their profit. My only caveat would be the continuing education program that they provide to Contract Workers. It would be great if there was a better continuing education program so professionals can keep up to date in their field regarding new software(s), human resource laws, accounting practices and policies, or accounting software (ERP/ERM). If so, this would be a competitive advantage to what Robert Half provides. Regardless, AppleOne is the top agency on my list and I know I will always keep them in mind when I am looking for my next Contract Position. read more

I am beyond thrilled with my experience with AppleOne. If I could give 10 stars I would. I was so fortunate to be assigned to Ashley as my Staffing Associate. She is the most kind, genuine and hard working person I have ever met. Through AppleOne I can guarantee that you will be paired up with someone that has your best interests and career goals at heart. Because of all the hard work Ashley did I was able to get a job with a great company that I would have never imagined getting. Everyone at AppleOne is so sweet and professional. Ashley did an exceptional job of pairing me with companies that meet what I am looking for in a career-focused job, and that is because she is also an outstanding listener. The people at AppleOne aren't only there to help you find a great job, but also to guide you and mentor you about any part of the job application process.
