Steve behind the front desk is very professional and knowledgeable. He is very patient and is of great help; everything you ask him to do will get done, whether it be by him himself or another employee. I interviewed with Caitlin on a Monday, and on Wednesday received a call offering me a position. The next day, I received another call offering me another position for Thursday and Friday, and another separate call for a position Saturday through Monday. I didn't expect to even hear back, but after a one day wait, they've kept me busy working every day since! (With the exception of one day I requested off.) They are incredibly flexible; meaning they've worked around my doctor's appointments, transit time constraints, etc. Caitlin and Maggi are the only two employees here that I have personally had the pleasure of working with, but other temps I've met through OfficeTeam have told me great things about the other employees as well. They really spend the time to review your resume and skills so that they are able to send you to a business that will be a good fit for you. I have never waited longer than 4 hours to hear back from either Caitlin nor Maggi, whether I contacted them via email, phone call, text message, or left a message with Steve for them, even on the weekends! I was going to visit AppleOne and Volt in addition to OfficeTeam, but after seeing how professional, helpful, kind, and adept the employees at OfficeTeam are at their jobs, I have just stuck with them. I need no more! As far as the negative reviews for this agency go- I completely disagree. If you work hard at the first temp job they offer you and prove yourself to them, they will go the extra mile to continue finding you work opportunities. Do not go in expecting to land a job that you are unqualified for, and take what you can get at first- no temp agency is going to send you to any of their good associates unless you prove to them that you are worth their time and effort. They have a reputation to upkeep with their associates, and you must understand that before expecting to be thrown into your dream job. We all have to make ends meet, and OfficeTeam is the group that will best suit your needs. If you are looking for a job, whether it be temp or temp to perm, visit OfficeTeam and you will NOT be disappointed. I can't recommend this agency highly enough! I highly recommend Robert Half for anyone who is seeking employment. I was pleasantly surprised with the amount of personalized attention I got from the representatives that I worked with. I sent in my resume and letters of recom​m​​​endatio​n, completed some online tests​​​ and had a skype interview so that they could gauge my capabilities. After my initial assignment ended, I was asked to temp at another department in the organization and received higher pay in this position. Since I was already onboarded through Robert Half, there was an easy transition for me to begin working and no interruption in pay. In this second position I worked in Payroll, which allowed me to gain new experience to add to my resume and also be represented by another division of Robert Half, Accountemps. Robert Half's Santa Barbara office was a pleasure to work with. I always received prompt replies to phone messages and emails. I was really amazed that a huge corporate office gave me so much more high-quality attention and correspondence than even the personnel offices I had worked with in my own town. As I have renewed my job search to relocate to the Bay Area, I have continued to have great communication and help from Robert Half, and they have even reached out to me of their own accord to give me more advice. Over the past couple of weeks both Katherine and Rachael have given me additional guidance as I seek work in the Bay area and referred me to representatives in the Bay area offices. I am a recent law school graduate and California Bar exam taker. In the wake of the test, I found it nearly impossible to re-enter the Santa Barbara legal field. As a law school graduate who has yet to pass the bar I found myself in a sort of limbo state, with most firms looking for an established associate or a non-attorney legal secretary for the long term. It was at this point that I turned to Robert Half's Office Team in Santa Barbara. Not to sound cynical, but I always reserved a certain level of skepticism for any so called "middle man". I always saw myself as someone who didn't really need to resort to this sort of service. In retrospect, however, I realize that any reservations I had were unfounded. It took only a day from submitting by resume to hear back from the reps and only a few more days after that to have an actual sit down interview with the reps regarding the job openings and what the firms were looking for. After scouring craigslist dead ends that took weeks to respond and being bombarded with "legal hiring" robot emails, it was really rewarding to actually sit and speak with another person about my professional goals in Santa Barbara. My representatives Alex and Caitlin presented several very promising legal positions in the area and helped me tailor my resume and expectations for these positions. Thanks to these efforts I have a contract position with a major law firm on State Street in Santa Barbara that I am hoping could lead to a permanent position. Even if the contract position remains just that, I am happy to know that I have Office Team in my corner to pursue the next chapter in my professional journey if need be. I was quite frankly becoming hopeless about finding legal work in Santa Barbara prior to my experience with Office Team and cannot express enough gratitude for their initial interest in me and their continued assistance during my employment. I have never worked with a temp agency before and was nervous that I would be placed in a company where I would be bored and underappreciated. I was 100% wrong!
