Not sure what all the negative ratings about the cashier are all about. My brother and I drove…read morehere from Turlock because we read online about their vast beer selection. They do have a lot of IPAs, but their stout/porter selection is limited. Lots of hard liquor also available. The cashier was very accommodating helping us get to beers that we couldn't access ourselves in the walk in cooler. He was super friendly and knowledgeable about different beers. Great experience, worth the drive for the micro beer selection (especially IPAs) alone.

I picked one up on the way to merced. Unwrapped it took a puff, nothing. Ok. Well on the way back I'll swap it out. Shouldn't be a big deal. It will be about 15-20 minutes. Well I bring it to the clerk. Tell him I just bought it. He said," no refunds no exchanges." But I just bought it. He shows me a little sticky memo note on the glass. So I tossed it to him and walked out. Tossed, not thrown!! Didn't raise my voice. Ok. I will never be back. Good day sir. So think about it before you do business here. Shady folks.

I've supported this business for years, but unfortunately my repeated experiences with one of the…read moreolder employees have reached the point where I won't be returning. On multiple occasions, I've noticed that when this employee rings me up, certain items are not scanned and a price is manually entered instead. I've also repeatedly been charged more for products when he rings me up than when the younger employees do. After noticing the pattern, it has become difficult for me to believe these are simply isolated mistakes. Customers should be able to trust that they're being charged the correct and consistent price for what they purchase. I was also uncomfortable when this same employee asked my girlfriend where she works. She is considerably younger than him and did not know him personally. Regardless of his intentions, I felt the question was inappropriate and it made us uncomfortable. I want to be clear that the younger employees here have always been chill, friendly, and pleasant to deal with. This review is not a reflection of them. I've been a loyal customer for years, which makes this especially disappointing. But after these experiences, this business has permanently lost my business and that of my loved ones.
