Such a charming farm! Well-decorated for Fall. Adorable petting zoo, a pumpkin patch, sunflower field and of course, delicious apples! Lots of parking. Friendly staff!

Stopped at Applecrest Farm Orchards on a rainy day, their apple cider added to our adventure. The holiday offerings made me wish I lived on the East Coast. Highly recommend stopping by.

Did an outing with the family last weekend and had a GREAT time! It was a bit pricy at $45 for our bag, but the apples were juicy and delicious, and besides we got more apples than we really know what to do with anyway. Lots of photo opportunities there with tractors and equipment and of course the trees in the orchard themselves. Donuts were GREAT. CIDER was great. All in all 5 stars. Gonna go again soon I think!

We came on a Sunday afternoon. This place was PACKED, with live music playing. The corn maze ($8/person) took us about 15 minutes complete. We then took the tractor ride out to the orchard to pick apples. The apples were delicious! The 1/2 BU bag is $40 and we filled it up quickly with our favorites. The line for the donuts was too long but we were able to get ice cream after a 20-minute wait. The ice cream was great and overall we had a great experience!

We visited on a weekend. The fresh made apple cider donuts were delicious. We got apples, pumpkins, and baked goodies at their store. We also got apple cider and it was delicious, but expensive. I think everything there is expensive but people will still go for the fall experience. They also have ice cream and a lot of purple were getting that. They have some outdoor games and they had live music.

A hand holds a sugar-coated donut with a hole in the center, inside a vehicle with a dashboard and navigation screen visible.

In love with this place! We stopped by for apple cider donuts as we were told this is the iconic food from New Hampshire. They definitely did not disappoint. We got a half dozen with the cake, sugared, and powdered sugar and all were amazing. They tasted very fresh and the whole shop was filled with cute items and organic foods. Definitely recommend stopping by if you're in the area because the donuts alone are worth a trip!

Apple picking is always more expensive than just buying apples at the supermarket but what is the fun in that!

A family runs Barker's Farm and their kids and grandkids work behind the counter. They offer a tightly curated selection of vegetables and had some of the best-tasting basil though in small bunches (it wasn't enough to make pesto but delicious in a Caprese salad). Pies, raw milk, tomatoes, fresh fennel sausage, this old farm is a slice of heaven to me. Both cash and credit cards accepted.

They have everything you need for staples from the garden along with things that are just nice to have. Their food selection is terrific. I especially like their "salsa in a basket", which is a strawberry quart basket filled with onion, tomato, jalapeno, cilantro and tomatillo. Fingerling potatoes are available here! There is a cooler in the back with locally sourced bacon, milk, and eggs along with Swampscott soda. Depending on the time of year, you can get cider donuts, pies, brownies, and bread. In the "nice to have" department, Barker's has a couple of offerings. There are bouquets of cut flowers which you can purchase for half the price of what you could get at a florist or supermarket. Or, better yet, you can go out to their flower garden and pick your own bouquet! Sometimes they have dried chili strings or dried flower arrangements which you can hang as home decor. As you ring up your purchase, don't forget to grab a bar of handmade soap. (I'm partial to the Voodoo Spice.) If you just feel the need to get in there and grow your own, Barker's also has a green house. You can pick up seedlings for most garden vegetables there. They offer a good selection of annuals and perennials, as well. Barker's is not open year round. Let's face it, it's New England and winter is a time to live off the preserves that you made during the summer and fall. When late spring rolls around, make sure you put Barker's as your first stop for food shopping and pick up good local food to keep you going.
