This is what would be considered our "local" Applebees in our new neighborhood and this was our 2nd visit. Each time the service was amazing and we had different servers which tells you that they do a good job with hiring and training. The restaurant itself is right off the NI Turnpike and in the same lot as a couple of hotels so they get good traffic. Each time we visited the food was freshly prepared and came out piping hot. We had their Triple Trio for an appetizer this time which allows you to pick 3 different appetizers and 3 dipping sauces for $14.99 which is a steal in my opinion. I was honestly full from sharing that but realized it too late after I already ordered an entree too which was the Grilled Cheese Cheeseburger that came along with a small side of the Tomato Basil Soup to dip the burger in and fries. It was yummy but I took 90% of the meal to go since I was so full. My BF had the Honey Mustard Chicken Sandwich which he devoured so it's safe to say that it was good as well. No complaints at this local Applebees so we will keep coming back. read more

If it wasn't for the amazing service of Michael and Clawd and Kaitlyn, I would never stop putting this establishment again. This is the second time that our food was disgusting but they do have a half-price appetizer deal that is amazing so I guess we will come back for that. If you've gone to one of this chain, you've pretty much gone to them all, and this location could use some help. They seemed a little bit understaffed. For a Thursday night, the place was really busy, especially with delivery drivers in and out. My dad ordered the AYCE option and had to ask for a second serving of the 6 shrimp after the 2 or 3 riblets and cold fries. All the other items (mostly appetizers) were okay. Curbside order. Waited and waited and eventually had to go in and pick up. My steak was supposed to be medium rare and is hard as a rock. Can barely even cut it with a knife. Pasta also had no flavor whatsoever and had HAIR in it. read more

Applebee's is well... Applebee's. We don't expect much from Applebee's because we know what type of business it is. However, when we just wanted some cheap late night drinks and appetizers well one place comes to mind. Applebee's is great when it comes to this as they have happy hour and late night specials which is half off select apps such as spinach and artichoke dip, wings, or mozzarella sticks. They also have drink specials during this time which my partner ordered a $5 Long Island Ice Tea.. now this tasted pretty good but it being a LIT you could barely taste the alcohol which is a bit weird since that's about all its suppose to have. On the other hand I ordered a CoronaRita (Margarita with a Coronita inside) which was $6 with a flavor it was 50 cents more which I added strawberry this was absolutely delicious and was not too sweet or too sour which was great. My partner ordered one later too because of how good it was. The spinach and artichoke dip has always been one of my favorites because it is not greasy at all and has really good flavor. And our waitress was extremely friendly and quick with bringing our stuff out. And the place was clean with everyone being friendly. Overall, I would always come for happy hour or late night. Terrible experience! My nephew asked to eat at Applebees after his 8th grade graduation. We arrived and the place looked had plenty of available seats. My daughter put us down on the wait list and was told it would be about 35 minutes because we're a party of 6. We decide to wait in the car instead of the lobby. A rush of other parties start arriving. I realized it was a busy night since there were two local 8th grade graduations that evening. After 35 minutes, we go back inside to check our place in line. We walked inside and were greeted by two employees with blank faces just staring at us. I look at both of them, waiting for some sort of verbal acknowledgment. When I realize I'm not getting any, I say hello. I ask if they can confirm how much longer it will be and give my daughter's name. The man in the pink shirt says it will be another 35 to 40 mins. I tell him we were told the wait would be "35 minutes" 35 minutes ago. He says, "I didn't tell you that!". His colleague in the black shirt tried to shift the blame, "It was probably the other guy that told you that." There was no way I was going to wait an additional 35 mins. I say we're leaving because I'm no longer interested in eating there. I ask the man in the pink for his name. He tells me it is Keith. As we turn to the exit, another employee, a young woman, says to the man in the pink, "Don't worry about it!". At this point, we're all pretty disgusted with the lack of customer service. It turns out that Keith is the manager. I used to eat at this very Applebees when I was younger, but after this experience, I will never go back. Let's start with we put our name on the list and was told 30-35 minutes. So we go inside to find out how much longer after the 30- minutes were up and the GM Keith Barber was very nasty towards my sister, when she asked about how much longer the wait would be. She advised we were already told 30 so we proceeded to walk out and his little minion makes a comment about oh don't worry about them. I'm sorry we were nothing but polite and asked a question. My son had just graduated 8th grade so we tried to stay local. We understand there was other graduations going on, however the attitude was unwarranted and I did advise over family and friends. Came here to study a bit and have some dinner, already have been here before with friends and in other situations and tried all sorts of menu combinantions today it was exceptionally good and i will break it down to you. I had a ceasar salad that was really good After that i had the bourbon street chicken and shrimp, omg the chicken was juicy and tender as well as the shrip. Tried their strawberry lime margarita and hated it, all the margaritas tasted like pure sour mix. So i changed up and i had the bahama mama isntead, that was an amazing drink and i am glad i switched. The waitress was great, noticed that indidnt like the margarita and took it off my bill, which i really aprecited. For desert i had the salted caramel shake, at first i expected to be a tiny cake, looking at tje pricebit made sense , but it actually was a milk shake, and even tho i was not expecting that it still was an amazing little shake, with isntead of wipped crean they topped with cool whipped and made the desert a lot better than i expected. We were staying across the street at the Hilton Garden inn and went at 10 pm to eat. Weird the manager said it was an hour wait at the door as he only had two servers. We went to bar and 3 of us sat down. Bartender turned on Atlanta/ Dodgers World Series game for us. We ordered chips/ salsa/guacamole, soft pretzels with beer cheese dip, yummy! I spoke to the assistant manager & she basically told me the hostess did not have to take accountability for her actions because she's not the manager. Walked in last night at 10:15 pm for their late night happy hour. Asked the 2 hostesses if we had to sit at the bar for late night happy hour and was rudely told by the manager who was just standing there, leaving up against the wall that the wait was 45 mins. There were at least 20 tables that were open, so I looked puzzled and said but you have a lot of open tables. He said "yeah, I only have 3 servers" again with a rude attitude. Not sure why you have 2 hostesses then, have one of them wait tables, or better yet, wait on tables yourself and not be nasty to customers. Won't be back. I've been coming to this Applebee's for 6 years. I started going more after work to grab a drink and some appetizers. I have to say the service at the bar is phenomenal. The appetizers always come out hot and my glass is never empty. Very attentive bartenders and great wanton tacos!!! The only item I dislike on their menu is their French Onion soup. It always comes out lukewarm no matter how many times I send it back. The cheese on the top is never melted. That's the only reason I marking a star off because I lovvvve French onion soup, just wish they could get it right! read more

Ehhhh. I don't know. I don't find the food or atmosphere at this place appealing at all. The kitchen is very slow when they're busy and service is kind but mediocre. It's often loud and packed, just not my idea of a nice night out. The vegetarian options stink but the salads (minus the meat) were ok. As a positive to all this, I do enjoy the little screen on the tables that you can play games on. For $1.99 you can play all kinds of app like games until they close out your bill. My girlfriend & I used to love going to Applebees but since the start of Covid this place has steadily spiraled into a less happy place for us both to be. Most of the time there are so little staff running around that somebody greeting you at the door is next to a thing of the past. If you do happen to get seated w/o the extremely long wait you can be sure you'll be waiting for your food just as long as you would've been as the cooks are probably extremely understaffed too. Now if you choose to sit at the bar good luck b/c most times almost every spot at the bar is dirty & hasnt been properly cleaned since the last person sitting there. The bartender here likes to work slow so she's always busy & never has time to take your order, make your drinks, or clean the plates in front of you. The last time I was even charged double for both drinks I bought b/c she claimed she had poured a double when I was never even asked if I'd like that done for me. She even tried to charge me the non-half app price for something clearly on that menu during the accepted times. This place has become a joke. Come here at your own risk, & Applebees please hire new & better working. It's nowonder people don't want to work well for you when you pay them 3$/hr. read more
