Complete Disappointment... Product Inconsistencies Because of a positive dining experience at Applebee's on March 7, 2026, I decided to give them another try to continue earning my business a customer. In fact, I enjoyed the Burbon Street Chicken & Andouille Sausage Penne so much I craved it again. Tonight, I ordered it again, the Bourbon Street Chicken & Andouille Sausage Penne for $11.99 from the Big Easy Menu to go. The dish is made with chicken, slices of andouille sausage, bell peppers, and onions, served over penne pasta and covered with a creamy alfredo sauce and complimented by golden-brown buttery breadstick. Tonight, the Bourbon Street Chicken & Andouille Sausage Penne was a complete disappointment, and it was NOT what I was expecting after enjoying this pasta dish on a previous visit to Applebee's less than two weeks ago. The pasta was very dry and lacked enough alfredo sauce to cover the penne pasta. Even with the extra alfredo sauce on the side (a 2 oz souffle cup), it was barely enough to completely cover the pasta and the other ingredients. The dish had little to no julienne sliced onions and green peppers which would have provided the crunch I was looking for and would have enhanced the flavor and taste of the dish. There were only about 4 small thin half size pieces of sausage and both the chicken, and the andouille sausage were over cooked / grilled, and burnt resulting in an acrid, bitter, and unpleasant taste making it unenjoyable and was uneatable. It was a poorly executed pasta dish. Poor product quality from poorly executed preparation along with product inconsistencies are the reason why I stopped dining at Applebee's. After my first visit to this location, I had high hopes and I was looking forward to many more visits. But, after this visit, I may have to rethink my dining decisions at Applebee's. Bartender was working her butt off! She was very friendly and tried very hard. We could tell this place was likely understaffed. The food was pretty good. Loved the trio. The bbq wings were good and so were the mozzarella sticks. Applebees is just a chill kinda restaurant in general. It is a cute lil location. read more

The food here was absolutely terrible. My wife's meal was floating in grease and my hamburger was tasteless. The water was good and the French onion soup was OK. We were wondering why there was nobody there and now we know why. Recipe for heartburn and nausea. I don't know him to give bad reviews, but this place certainly deserves it. read more

Horrible experience. I enjoy the options for the all you can eat but when it takes 30 to 45 mins for each plate to come out it is a waste of time and money. The food quality was horrible and looks nothing like what is on the commercial. I really hope that management see's this. I did not appreciate how when the guests behind me spoke to what looks like the assistant manager (wearing all black) about the slow service of their server. He mentioned about how she was going to get written up and generally spoke about how bad of an employee she was. She was older and you all were busy. It happens. Wife and I decided to get an order Togo. Haven't been to Applebees since we moved down to Florida. Ordering was easy over the phone and pick up was quick too. Drove over and walked in was greeted with smiles and welcomes. Had my order ready for me to take off and go. Got to the car check over and everything was accounted for. Got the 2 for 20 as we love the boneless wings. They were completely covered in BBQ sauce! I got the fiesta chick as I love the flavor of the chicken and lime. Was cooked perfect and rice was good too. Maybe next time we will sit down and eat as this was one of our favorite places back home. read more

Listen, I don't know if it was the vibe when we walked in, the fact that we were tired, hungry and not a lot was open, or that when we walked in Karaoke was happening (and I love Karaoke), but I really had a good time on a random Thursday night after going to Scream-a-geddon. The hostess and the server were so friendly and offered some great suggestions with regard to food. Half off apps after 10pm was a plus! We stuck to that menu and ordered a few appetizers and all of it tasted pretty good, though some were a little overcooked. Since I was driving I didn't order any alcohol but my friend did order a seasonal drink and she said it hit the spot. I don't know that I'll be back to this area of Florida in the near future but if you're around on Thursday after 10pm, give it a shot! read more

Great experience at Applebees today. We visit this location a few times a year when we're in town visiting family and friends. It's always a great experience with good ambience (all the games on tv) and helpful staff. The group enjoyed the shrimp bowl, house salad (huge and full of finely chopped veg), and a super fun holiday cocktail (with a Santa gummy bear on top). Food always comes out fast and everything was tasty! We learned the bar has half priced apps everyday during lunch (maybe 12-4, but call to check)! Seems like a great deal and there were plenty of open seats at the bar on a Saturday. Recommend this spot. read more

Employees aren't professional or friendly. We get seated and I ask what the 2 for 1 specials are and the waiter responded "well draft beers and wine and I don't know what else". I just ignored that response and ordered a water and my husband a Pepsi. I got my water but his Pepsi never came out until after his entree ! The waiter doesn't check on you they are too busy joking around with all the other workers. Bartender looks overwhelmed all the time since she has no help and she's very loud about it. read more

I have had mixed feelings about Applebee's for a long time, and I have purposely avoided going to one for about the last 15 years. Until last week when I visited this one with a large party for a birthday dinner. Being seated was a fiasco and we almost left...Initially they tried to separate our party of 14 and seat us at different tables. We were also told that reservations were not accepted, while at the same time told there were reservations for several large parties (none of the rest of whom were they), including ours, lol. It was eventually sorted out and we were seated after about 30 minutes. While we waited, three of us sat at the bar and attempted to order drinks. I was able to get one in, but we gave up when trying to place a second order. The restaurant really wasn't that busy, it was earlier before the dinner rush. There was one couple at the bar, and one or two tables that had ordered drinks, but the bartender appeared overwhelmed, and a bit slow. Once we were finally seated, our service was much better. I gave up on ordering any more drinks, but for my meal I had the chicken wonton tacos (because if tacos are on the menu, I'm probably gonna get them), and the side chicken tortilla soup. I really liked the tacos, they had a crispy wonton type shell...and I liked the soup but it was a really small portion, the tiny cup was only half full. But they were both really good. Went to this establishment for dinner. There were few customers and they were all either in the bar or near the windows. The hostess immediately attempted to take us yo the back of the restaurant next to the toilet. I said no thanks, I prefer to be up front near the windows. She replied that there are no available seats in the front that we have to sit in the back. When asked why, she simply shrugged her shoulders. While I stood there starting to get a little upset, more customers came in and were seated at the front...by the windows. I said, why can those people be seated by the windows and we cannot? Attempted to place a to go order 7 times over the phone between 12:55pm - 1:15pm. Each time they said please hold and then disconnected the call 6 times. On one attempt I spoke to a male briefly he said please hold and then disconnected the call. No gift cards will be purchased from Applebee's this year as I do not want to put friends and family through this B.S. I wish there was a way to give a lower rating than 1 star. read more

Wow so I haven't been to an Applebees in a very long time. I remember the days where this place was the goto for a quick decent priced meal. We decided to go there last minute and it was actually really good. I can say I didn't know what to order. One of those things where you just get a burger because it's safe and easy. To make it fun, I ordered the Quesadilla burger and let me tell you I was not disappointed. The flavors from the pico de gallo to the jack cheese and the Mexican ranch sauce with bacon. Holy Moly. I had tried the all you can eat $15.99 special. shrimp was battered with like sawdust and barely warm - YUCK boneless chicken was exactly the same and no buffalo sauce? - YUCK Riblets were almost tolerable but not very meaty. Not sure what has happened, but this place is nothing like it used to be. Our waitress was stoned. We ordered Yuengling on draft and she brought out Angry Orchard. Then tried to claim it was Yuengling Flight. Our appetizers come out, no napkins and no silverware. We have not gone to Applebees in so many years. We thought it would be fun since my husband worked at one many many years ago. Just went in for an app and drinks. We got buffalo boneless wings and they were amazing. We liked them so much ordered another. The second Bach was horrible. My husband noticed a difference in color immediately before the server put it on the table. She said no it's the same thing you ordered before. We tried a bite and it was cold and the sauce was just thrown on their. When we called the waitress over she accused us of eating half. We told her we each had a bite. She did take it off our bill. The bar is a gathering point for the servers and bar tenders to complain about fellow emoloyees...how irritating when I came in for a beer to relax! I loudly asked them to knock it off because none of us paying customers wanted to hear it as it stresses us all out...which might reflect on their tips. Boy. My sister and I are on WW, so we knew that we could get diet-friendly entrees here. We sat in the bar area where we could watch sports/news, but the noise level was minimal. In terms of food, our appetizers were hardly warm when they came to our table. The cheese in the mozzarella sticks was like a solidified tube and the spinach artichoke dip was very slimy and flavorless. I ordered the oriental chicken salad with the vinaigrette on the side but they must have thought it would be funny to add the vinaigrette beneath my salad because it was extremely saucy after I put in a small amount of my vinaigrette. There was a piece of black short hair in two of our meals. The service could have been better. We got up to leave because our drinks took almost ten minutes but our waitress came over as we stood up and told us she was "waiting three tables" and that's why it took her so long. Three tables. Our waitress at Carrabba's was waiting six tables and did an exceptional job. This girl at Apple Bees was definitely just lazy and complained how the "guy in the kitchen already added extra crunchy noodles" to my salad when I asked for more crunchy noodles. First time back to AB in a long time, a little nostalgic at first but was pleased with the menu options. Had the mushroom Swiss burger, it was surprisingly juicy and about the right size too. Wife had the blackened salmon. She has had a few of these at top restaurants and she really liked how it was done. I love Applebee's!! However, this location falls well short of the quality, service, and atmosphere that I am used to. This location seems to lack motivated employees and they are not that friendly. We have been here several times with similar experiences each time. Whoever owns this location might want to look into making some major changes to live up to the Applebee's franchise reputation. read more

Stopped here while traveling. Our server was very accommodating to make sure we were served quickly to get back on the road. She was friendly and accommodating. Second time here and I will never be back! I was doing a take out order tonight and the hostess told me to go to the back. I went to the back and no one came out for at least 10min so I asked the bartender and she said that someone would be out. No one came out so she goes to the back and look for someone. When a young red head girl comes out who I saw was doing the to go order and messing up peoples order before me I asked her excuse me can you tell me how much longer and she said hold on.
