'Bourbon chicken and sh*t

If I could rename this location I would name it appleF's. The name is misleading not even a B rating for this place. First off I was so excited to have a take out cocktail after a hard days work. So we decided to do online ordering for pick up, my fiancé drives us there because of my long hard day at work (like I said). Well the high school educated 'waitress' (a robot could bring food out to a car) waits for us to pay and then tip her. THEN AFTER THAT, she decides to ask for ID, which I give her as we are both of legal drinking age. Turns out that my fiancé THE DRIVER needs to have her ID, but not me the one who payed for the order and wanted the damn drink. Well my fiancé forgot her ID as Applebee's website never asked for the driver to have a 21+ ID, all I got was a prompt that asked 'are you 21 or older?'. WOW GREAT JOB APPLEBEES ON CLARIFYING YOUR RULES AND REGULATIONS. Did the managers 5 year old kid write these up with crayons on a kids menu you give out? PLEASE TELL ME WHY Applebee's would want the driver to be the one in charge of an alcoholic beverage? Sounds like a lawsuit waiting to happen if you ask me. On top of this they forget my 81 year old Grandmom's coffee, and her broccoli as a side dish. My poor Grandmom with neurological issues has more common sense than this 'restaurant'. And when I brought home the prime rib sandwich she has been dying for her response was 'wow this place is lousy'. That's 2 for grandmom - 0 for turnersville Applebee's. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME GO GET A $1 FAST FOOD BURGER PLEASE!!!!!! * we wasted $70 on absolute trash and none of us are satisfied or full. And this food was as cold as snowmeiser from the year without a Santa Claus movie...

We had a $25 gift card ok? With that out of the way.... So, it's Applebees. It's a chain, it's middle America, it is a cliche, and it is what it is. We knew that coming in. But wow, it was really bad. The atmosphere when you walk in is just kinda crappy. Drop ceiling, carpeted floors, and of course all the crap on the walls. I mean seriously, there were pictures of Friends on the wall (the regrettable 90s tv show). There was a whole section of Nascar. Yknow, Applebees. Whatever. What else is there to say? The service was awesome, actually. Ray was really cool and seemed excited to have people who actually talked to him and whatnot. (Having grown up around here, I know how most folks are. Not the most pleasent, talkitive of folks...) The food was the food. Ok yknow what? I am going to just come out and say how crappy it was. The cut of steak I received was simply unacceptable. It was just a gigantic string of fat through which I could not chew. Which is a shame- it was cooked perfectly to my medium rare choice. It was served- as promised- sizzling very loudly on a bed of caramelized onions and mushrooms. Except there were no mushrooms. And caramelized would be a generous word for how these onions were cooked. The wife got the veggie burger. Now, the fact that there IS a veggie burger to order at Applebees is sort of commendable, right? Still, it was a boring piece of foodstuff, with no comparison to even the veggie burger we make a home, let alone the excellent ones at, say, Mac's Tavern. I just thought it would be a little... more.

I'm not sure why this place has low stars. You know what you're getting when you go to these places. I ordered the 2 for $20. Got a ton of food that will feed me for 3 days. I got the bacon cheeseburger and the steak bowl. Appetizer was the boneless wings (wish the bone in were an option). It came with queso and chips through Uber eats. The burger was pink which I asked for.. perfectly done. Everything tasted as expected from these mall type restaurants. Great deal for all the food I got and it tasted good. It was ready on time and packaged fantastically with reusable plastic. Thanks for doing a great job especially during this pandemic.

Shot from dining area to bar area. Tvs on espn but quiet for lunch.

Eatin good in the hood is right. Its clean the wait staff is friendly n competent. I try something different every time I go in. I do like the fish n chips. I get n extra piece of fish for 3 bucks. Brings it to 16 bucks. Every bit as good as the tourist traps down the shore. Typical chain restaurant.

I got the chicken fajita roll up. It was one of the best fajitas I ever had the chicken was cooked to perfection. But my only problem I had with the place was that it tooled a little longer than most restaurants which annoyed me but other than that I had a wonderful time

The bank rolls, dry rub wings, and whiskey wings were absolutely amazing--perfectly cooked and packed with flavor. Service was friendly and fast, which made the experience even better. My husband ordered the beef taco special (2 for $5--such a steal!) and liked them, but couldn't stop reaching for my appetizers. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in the area!

Even made my own a few times, thinking I had it all figured out. But then I walked into The Bank Bar and had my mind completely rearranged. The place itself? Perfect. It's got that old-school, no-nonsense vibe with just enough charm to let you know they actually care. You walk in, and it's like the place has been waiting for you--dark wood, a little history on the walls, and that unmistakable smell of something incredible happening in the kitchen. The kind of place where you know, deep down in your soul, that good things are about to happen. And then came the sandwich. This roast pork wasn't just good. It wasn't just great. It was the best roast pork sandwich I have ever had in my life. No exaggeration. First bite--boom--instant revelation. The pork was juicy, packed with deep, rich flavor, and shredded just right, like it had been slow-cooked by someone who truly understands patience. The roll? Oh man, that perfect balance of crusty and soft, holding everything together without stealing the show. Then you get hit with the garlicky, herb-loaded bite of the greens--sautéed just enough to still have a little bite, but soft enough to melt into everything else. And the cheese? Sharp provolone, the kind that makes your taste buds wake up and pay attention. I sat there, sandwich in hand, just nodding to myself like some kind of roast pork prophet. Every bite was a reminder that this is how it's supposed to be done. It wasn't a meal. It was a life experience. If you haven't been to The Bank Bar yet, fix that immediately. Order the roast pork. Thank me later.

The all-you-can-eat crab legs came out with 3 legs on the first round and 2 legs for the refills. The calamari was tasty, and the steak was cooked well with great flavor. My wife had the Mahi Mahi over Jasmine rice...a nice portion of moist fish cooked perfectly! As for me I went simple. 4 cheese Mac n cheese, delicious and in a cast iron pot that kept the Mac and cheese ooey gooey throughout the meal! I figured I'd try the GRILLED wings....good move! I went for the honey hot version.... Cooked just right and bursting with flavor! Our kids had the Mac n Cheese also 1 original and 2 went with the Buffalo chicken cutlets on top...they all inhaled those plates without a complaint ! You gotta get to the JERSEY GOAT! We will be returning soon for more menu items and to try some more of their various adult beverages! I'm eyeing up the Big A** Chicken Parm for the next visit!

We grabbed seats at the bar, got our drinks quickly, and dug into wings with two sauces on the side. The garlic parm was packed with little bits of cheese and seasoning, was the favorite, and with the sweet Thai chili bringing a nice kick. A couple wings were a bit small, but they were super crispy. The California wrap was chopped so everything was evenly mixed, and swapping in chipotle aioli really bumped up the flavor.
