This is a staple usually it's good no complaints The service is pretty much straightforward and this time, last night we decided to stop and grab dinner. The kitchen was a little slow, I believe only one employee was working in the kitchen, but it was all good no rush but everything came out hot and we ate it all. Service was on point. My perfect margarita was perfect only needed one which made enough for two. Everything was good of course it's not your spick and span top notch restaurant but it gets the job done. Service is horrible. We came in for dinner. Relatively empty. No one came to take our order for 10 minutes. Instead the hostess and waitresses were talking and dancing in the corner. The bartender was dancing with her fan for three customers. Nope. Done with Applebees. read more

I am very dissatisfied and upset with our service from here tonight. We are customers here quite often and even order delivery from here and hardly have ever had problems with the food or service but tonight they forgot an entire plate and royally messed up my husband's burger order as he can't have any condiments or tomato on his. We called twice and got hung up on only for the third time to get answered by a rude gentleman that just got our name and number and told us a manager would call us in 5 minutes and we're still trying to get our order right this is ridiculous. The generous one star is for the timely delivery. Both meals so nasty.... Freezer burnt Chicken-rubber with a side of stale mashed potato paste, delivered cold. Chicken in southwest bowl the same Rubber chicken diced up with guacamole that had swirls of black oldness in it. Had to trash both out of fear of stomach cramps and spending night on toilet. So we all know no one goes to Applebee's for great food, just a place to hang out grab some decent food and drinks. Well they didn't even live up to THAT! We walked in to a half empty restaurant and still had a 20 minute wait....why, who knows. We got seated at a table that needs to be either scrubbed or thrown out. None of our food came out hot, silverware was filthy, I asked for plastic silverware instead. The lettuce was turning brown and I am positive the cook saw that when they placed it on my burger. The place was nearly deserted took 13 minutes for the waiter to come over to even ask about our drinks. The booth was filthy, looks like it has been cleaned in months around the cushions . when the waiter finally came with our drinks we found small floating things in the glasses of water not sure what it was but they were black. Could have been mold of some type from the ice Machine, had to ask for straws. Started to order, the waiter was defiantly new and had issues with the Menu, what was on the menu and even how to take the order. we talk to the manager and decided that was in our best interest to just leave ask for a bill which they said there would not be one because we have not been served anything but water 39 minutes later which was filthy and we left and went to Suffolk BBQ. I wish I could give negative stars! I've ate here twice the first time I got the bourbon street steak rare and it was like chewing on shoe leather! The second time I got the double fried bone in wings that weren't even cook all the way through! The service was absolutely horrible both times! Horrible, it smells right as you walk in the door, I ordered the brisket tacos with fries the best part was the fries. My son ordered the chicken fingers and they came beyond golden brown, they looked like they were fried twice once in the morning and another after the guy before me returned them and were re gifted to my son..... lol this place is horrible. It's also dirty the tables were unkempt the seats not pushed in. The workers are sloppy looking..... I mean wtf. I know what you're asking (then why did he stay) because we were hungry as hell and ever other place was closed. I can see why they have such a low rating. Never again!!!!! Got here around 2:00pm Friday afternoon, I went to the restroom. The appearance of the restroom kinda made me want to leave. The urinal was Brown and it should be white. The sink area had goop build up on the walls it was actually kind of nasty. There were maybe 8 tables and two people at the bar. Sat at the table sever came after a few minutes took drink order, she came back took our food order. The appetizer came within a reasonable time. The main course seemed like it took forever, (riblet platter and Southwest chicken) it did taste good. The server was not very interactive asking if the meal was okay you coming by to check on us. I use to frequent this apple bees often years ago but tonight was my first time visting in a while! The hostess was very nice and eager to accomodate a party of 13. But our first waiter tried to wait a party of 13 and be a bartender and the same time....EPIC FAIL!! Needless to say we ended up with a new waiter and I do remember his name..William! William was excellent! He was patient with fixing our orders and checks. He never seemed frustrated. I gave them 3 stars because the manager Ms. Cora came over to the table to apologize and ensured that all issues were resolved. Okay, first let me state that I'm not a fan of Applebee's food in general. This Applebee's did not help me change my mind. I am always trying to find something I like and am willing to order other than chicken fingers and the fiesta (?) wrap. I am always failing at this task. This time, I ordered the tilapia dish. It sounded good. It arrived. I began eating. First bite, pleasantly surprised. Second bite, texture seemed off. Third bite, was raw - thankfully I looked before eating. AARGH! Having said that, my sister, brother in law & niece's food was evidently fine and the service was quick & friendly. The only complaint is that I continue to have bad food experiences at every Applebee's. I should probably learn my lesson & stick to the two things that have always been cooked correctly. read more

Went on the hunt for a steak, slim pickings in this neck of the woods, I remembered Applebees had steak, I'll try it. It took forever on a Wednesday evening. Place was reasonably busy, but not packed. Server was very nice. Food, ordered the sirloin rare, it was very over cooked. It was the oddest shape, like a fat cow finger, the menu says it's 9oz, maybe precooked weight. I had to go find a waitress as mine went mia to take it back. They then brought another one, regular size, but so much inedible tendons it was about 4 bites worth of meat. Vegetables were cold. I was so disappointed. I also wish I could give this place 0 stars. We were seated and waited on right away. That's the only positive I can say. The food took 30 minutes to get to us and was not prepared correctly. The ribs were tough, broccoli very overcooked, sauce missing from the shrimp, the onion rings were greasy. The temperature of the food ranged from luke warm to frigid. There were not enough servers so half the place was closed and people were waiting. There are plenty of places to eat in this area, pass this one by. read more
