This restaurant would rather accommodate a dog than a customer who's spouse is allergic to a dog. My wife and I where there to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary ordered drinks and dinner. While waiting for our meal a couple and there grandsons where seated next to us. They had a small dog which was obviously there pride and joy as it was carried in on his shoulder. I rang the table device for the watress Kathy. Upon explaining the close proximity and afore mentioned allergy she said she could do nothing not even ask them to relocate, she did call her manager a very nice YOUNG BOY. Who reiterated what Kathy had said. Of course a public accommodation for disabled is protected under federal and Florida law. But that does not come at risk of endangering other patrons. Severe allergies can induce anaphylactic shock and lead to death in a matter of minutes.thank God emergency room was less than a half mile away Furthermore service animals are to be on leash unless the leash would interfere with the service they perform for the disabled owners. Of course A public Restaurant has the ability to inquire about the dog skills as it relates to the service they provide. There is no provision for therapy dogs just because it makes you feel good. This restaurant should have taken a more concerned examination of the situation and relocated little pride and joy to a table outside read more

I had the pleasure of having Magen and Melissa help my new team for over four hours today and they were nothing short of exceptional. Courteous they were professional they were constantly looking for ways that they could serve a very big group and always did so with a smile on their face. It was truly a pleasure to have them help us today read more

This place is great for travelers, excellent service and food, iced teas are sweeter and the quesadilla burger was outstanding. I give compliments to chefs and staff, Thank you for your service. I would definitely come back someday. read more

The food was great. The server was great. What's the weight on the patio for service left a bit to be desired. The screaming kids dining tables down from us on the patio made the meal less than romantic. If I were a manager at this restaurant, I would have pushed the table and asked adults to keep the screaming children from screaming and yelling. read more

This was the worst Applebees I've ever been to, which is unfortunate because it's right up the road from my house. I went there with a friend of mine and was seated immediately. We decided on appetizers so we ordered from the iPad on the table and waited for almost 45 minutes. Out came our entrees with no appetizers in sight. I asked the waitress where they were (a very young adult of course) and she gave me attitude! She literally said "Well you did it!". I grabbed my purse and was getting up to leave because I was so offended but my poor friend was 9 months pregnant and hungry. So while eating the third bite on my plate I pull a hair from my food. The manager came over and saw another one that I didn't even notice as well. He comped both our meals but still charged us for our teas. I promise I'll never go back! read more

Crappy frozen food. Clueless waitress. I thought that when she had to write down "Beringer Cabernet" to remember it and poured water from a pitcher while the glass was still on the table that she was new, but nope, 8 years experience. The queso blanco was spicy and good. I'll be in no hurry to return. read more

Worst place!!! Our waiter Jack was awesome, but his partner was ..... Never order drinks from them ull get juice with no alcohol!! And when u try and speak to the MGR "Tammy" about it she gets nasty and tells you ur wrong and that ever drink is measured and thats just how it is!!! Then not 20 min later the people behind you come in order drinks and low n behold they say the same thing you say!!! THIS PLACE SUCKS!!! Wouldnt recommend for anyobe to go esp if ur gonna pay 10.00 a drink and get juice!!! read more

Its a chain, there can't be too many things going on for a lengthy review. Normally a place we hit late night. Food has always been decent, beer has always been overpriced. No complaints on service, never had an issue. read more

Three stars just because we always have a great server. It's Applebee's, you know what to expect. Cheap food. Cheap drinks. Friendly staff. read more

We ordered our favorite appetizers for the 'Carside To-Go' pick up because it was raining and we didn't feel like going into the restaurant... When we got into the designated parking space, the waitress called my cell and asked if I could come inside to pick up my order as it was raining. Seriously!!??? Good thing I had an umbrella. But I can't complain about the appetizers... love the boneless buffalo wings and the pretzels!! The service??? Not so much. read more

I would rather drive to the Applebee's in Springhill off US 19 instead of come to this one that is literally 0.5 miles from my house. The staff is rude the waitresses are rude and the bartender hardly paid any attention to me and my friend. I put in a to go order that took 45 minutes to come out and it was just soup in boneless chicken wings. Hardly busy for a Friday night. Bartender treated older couple better than they did me and my friend. (We are in our 20s) get it together! read more

Horrible place. Nonchalant host. Freezing A/C. Server too busy to move us to a different table instead of next to screaming kids and refrigerator temps. Food took 25 minutes at 9 PM..place was mostly empty except for the bar. I despise Applebees but it was the only place open. This location plays mall live songs that will make you want to heave their crappy food if you are over 25 is my guess. My chicken tenders were overcooked and the soup was most def microwave hot. They need to be more attentive to their patrons. Too many other good restaurants on the area. I will not return read more

We like the price. Food selection was good. The only complaint we had is getting served. We waited 15 minutes to get drinks. After that everything went smooth. read more

Good Food and Service Ordered the Tomato Caprese Chicken for dinner. Did not know what to expect. Held the potatoes to make less carbs and subbed Garlicky Green Beans. This was a really good meal. Others had the Riblet Platter which was also hot and fresh. Our server, Nate, was friendly and attentive. read more

Not much going on in the Spring Hill area. My Grandmother seems to like this place. That's why Applebees gets a 3 star A-OK review. Went in for lunch. Our server was nice and the food was decent. read more

Ok. I'm seriously done with Applebee's. Ordered takeout this time, thinking it may be different; ordered the Creamy Parmesan Chicken and when it got to the house, nothing was "creamy" about it; no sauce at all, just a piece of cheese on the chicken. The side of spinach was literally two fork fulls, as well as the rice. Not worth the $10+ that it costs. Had to make a sandwich out of the chicken just to have a meal. This place is crap. read more

Every time I come to this place it's very slow, and yet I find myself waiting 20+ minutes for any employee to emerge from the back and pay attention to their job- which is serving the customers. Even when I do eat her food is alright but I'm always waiting on the wait staff. They're suppose to wait on me! I'm always waiting for refills, waiting for my check, waiting for someone to pretend like they care about their paycheck. read more

I checked (on-line) Applebee's menu and placed an order for Curb Side Pick-up. I ordered the 2 for $24.....which use to be 2 for $20, Burbon Chicken for both entrees with salad for the appetizer. I also order 1 side of garlic green beans (as the Burbon Chicken doesn't have a vegetable with it....just the salad or appetizer of your choice). All deep fried items. A very disappointing meal to say the least. First, the 2 for $24 as the on-line menu showed is now evidentially $32. Quite an increase...which I understand the rise in food products...but the portions were anything but worth it! The chicken was a fairly good size with 6 pop-corn shrimp on top and the mashed potatoes were the size of the palm of a woman's hand and about 3/4" high. The garlic green beans were in a small dixie cup like you'd get at DQ for a small sundae didn't fill the container (maybe 1/2 cup at best) plus they had no flavor, you wouldn't have known there was any garlic on them. Needless to say after paying $36.20 and tipping 20% for these two meals to take home....what a surprise upon opening the bag to see my purchase!!! I can honestly say, I WON'T do that again! The meal of Burbon Chicken was .... OK, nothing special about it, but not for $32.00. The service was good, once the order was placed....it only took 20 min...but getting my change back after paying from my car window wasn't expedient at all. Sad that the people that deliver to cars don't have the capability of cashing customers out themselves. Like I said....I won't return...and Applebee's should update their on-line menu. read more

We've been to this place quite a few times over the past couple of months and it's always been just an okay experience. Monday is great because you can get a burger and fries for just $6, but sweet potato fries will cost you extra, and the server won't always tell you that. They also don't participate in the Applebee's perks program, which is disappointing. So, if you signed up for the emails and got a free appetizer coupon, you can't use it here. read more

Let me start by saying the server was great . The food on the other hand was the worst. Fall off the bone ribs, there would have to have had meat on them to do that. What I could get off was so hard and chewy. The green beans, were so bland tasted no garlic. The loaded mac and cheese that I paid extra for, not like the picture. They were made with rigatoni pasta and had barely one cheese on them. The children's Mac N Cheese was so dry. My husband did enjoy the apple dessert. read more

Great food, great service. Stopped in for a quick dinner with my children. Mickey (sp?) our server was awesome. Very personable. Applebees was on our, don't go back list for a while, but they're much better than they were for a while there. read more

Don't mind going to Applebee's. Our go-to dinner is the Bourbon Street Chicken and Shrimp. Fiesta Lime Chicken is good as well. We always get seated promptly, waited on promptly and food arrives promptly. The only problem I have at this location is that it's freezing inside. When living in Tampa, we frequented the one on Dale Mabry in the Northdale area. Three times we waited for 10-15 minutes before we saw a server, 3 times we walked out and swore we'd never visit another Applebee's again. When we moved to Spring Hill, decided to give the Spring Hill one a try. I'm glad we don't receive the poor service like we did at the Northdale location. read more

One of the worst Applebees restaurants. I've ordered take out and on at least 4 different occasions, the orders were either wrong or missing items. After arriving at home, the portions are so skimpy. Small nugget for a steak, 2 little red potatoes and a piece of broccoli. Have spoken to managers about this on several occasions and nothing has changed. read more

Was there for half price apps order a bottle of water and wings. Brought my bottle of water to the table it was WALMART brand. Why would I pay 2$ for a bottle of Walmart water.. anyways my food comes out waitress forgets my ranch and she hasn't really been to attentive at all for a table of 5. I ask for my check it's brought to my table I'm overcharged by about 7 dollars I ask for a refund. she says to me do you want a refund or $5 off next time you come in? I said my money service was terrible I won't be back read more

The service your needs improving. It took a long time to get the food and it was average at best the restaurants needs to be cleaned up a bit and updated. The bathrooms need cleaning and the service needs to be improved upon. It took a long time to get the food and not all the orders are correct. Very average place at best with prices that are more than average. read more

It's an Applebee's so it's ok. The service was great, the food was ok, but the portions are pretty small.

Server was great, but the food at Applebee's is gross . Just good for a drink and maybe a late night 1/2 price app .

the management would rather push there own agenda then have customers in there that would sit and eat and drink as a large group three or four nights a week. We visited this location for better then 4 years It was like a large family get together with all the regular customers . but every one is now moving on read more

Most awesomist food, bad servers.. not new yet not knowledgeable.. its preaty bad when u walk in and have a list of names of waiters who you DONT want. I love the cooks tho. Server Meghan was terrible. Lack of customer service and not friendly at all. Some people should not be servers!

Short wait for food, but long wait for drink refills. Staff seemed rushed although restaurant was not too busy. Table was covered in promotional ads for things like Karaoke Thursday and Girl's Night - one would have been enough, we don't need 5. The walls were covered in pictures and paintings with no unifying theme, as though they're just trying to hide the walls. Food was good - had a bourbon black & bleu burger, beef was good and cooked perfectly, chipotle mayo sauce was very tasty, however couldn't taste any bleu cheese and bacon was only on half the burger; citrus lime steak was a bit rarer than ordered, and was smothered in a sauce that was far too spicy. Overall, however, the food was very good, considering food is typically awful in Spring Hill. read more

By far the worst Applebee's inhave ever been to. It's sad because it is the only place near my house to order from. This weekend we order curb side to go and the order was not complete. The manager was very nice but this is not the first time this has happen. Hell it's not the 2nd or 3rd time. Every time you call in about a issue you get the same answer, we tried to catch you. Really? You have my phone number couldn't call? Just very bad service inside and to go. I will travel the 5 miles further to another restaurant. read more

Went here on 7-11-16 for my 22 year old sons birthday. Our server was Jenine C. The food was good and service was good but my son and I ordered a raspberry cosmo alcoholic beverage to celebrate. There was so much alcohol in the drink neither of us could drink them. While we were there we observed Jenine make other drinks for customers. She over poured on every single drink. One drink in particular we watched her make I would say she filled the glass 3/4 of the way with alcohol. She could of easily made 3 drinks out of just that one. If the manager doesn't do something soon this place will go out of business due to the loss of money from all the over pouring of alcohol. Train your employees please. read more

Seated promptly. Server Nate was super efficient. Checked on us multiple times and had items on the table before we could even ask. Food was decent but not great. Fish and chips was super greasy. Needs to drain. Coleslaw was dry and bland. Burgers were good. Club sandwich was decent but meat to bread proportion is low. Overall the experience was ok withe the hilite being the exellent service. read more

The absolute worst restaurant I've ever been to by far. Every single time I go here I get a rude server and the slowest service possible. Tonight we decided to try it again and unfortunately it was terrible. We got sat with a server who didn't seem to know any part of the menu, didn't seem to know how to act friendly in any manner, and didn't seem like she had ever served before. Our food came out missing sides that we asked for and a side order never showed up. Somehow it still ended up on our bill and we were told twice that they were "working on it" in the back. Really? Working on a kids macaroni and cheese? For 20 minutes? Asked for a box at the end and never got it, and our bill was never brought back with the macaroni and cheese taken off. We left cash on the table because no one ever came back. AWFUL. As a server myself, I'm disgusted with the way this Applebee's allows their employees to treat customers and the way they allow their food service to be given. read more
