Marquise was an excellent waiter. The service was above and beyond, especially considering how late we walked in. I really appreciate the friendly service and accommodation. Food was excellent, hot and fresh. The music was wonderful. Thank you Marquise! read more

Walked in the restaurant and was stared at like we didn't belong there. Asked to sit at the bar and the server acted like it was problem. Was greeted by another server (who was not friendly) almost 10 minutes later. I ordered a drink and she seemed to have an attitude towards me and then proceeded to say she was out of one of the ingredients. My husband ordered a drink and another server fixed it and it tasted just like a flat coke. No alcohol in it whatsoever. But was definitely going to charge us for it. The drink was remade and that one was more alcohol than what should have been in it. Paid our one drink bill and left. read more

I had a gift card, so I ordered through their app (which was a big mistake, considering how lousy their app is; frustratingly slow, and not too user friendly). Initially it said no ASAP; it couldn't have my order ready, so I set it to be picked up twenty minutes later. I got there; didn't see many cars in the parking lot. Granted it was a Sunday evening around 6:30pm. Went in through the wrong door and had to walk to the pick- up order area. The restaurant was hardly crowded. AT ALL. Had to wait five to ten minutes for anyone to address my pickup order; they were busy watching television, worried about their hours, etc. And it was 10 minutes past the pickup time. Finally someone asked if I was being helped; gave them my name. They finally brought my order out and it was warm. But they didn't have my Oreo shake ready. Had to wait five minutes for the BARTENDER to make it, and when she did, she didn't even thank me for waiting or apologize about the wait; she just angrily placed it on the counter and left. It looked awfully small to charge me $5.00 for it. Got home a few minutes later and unwrapped the bag to see what supposedly was worth $25. Soggy lettuce wrapped around an overcooked cheeseburger, a limp and pathetic quantity of fries to go with the cheeseburger ( I ordered an extra side of fries; that was pathetic, too. Looked like they were barely cooked). An Oreo shake that looked like it was barely any Oreos in it and they have to nerve to charge people $5.00 for this? I read the reviews for this location as well as the other locations in Ohio and they all seem to have the same issues. I thought I would luck out and have a decent experience; boy, was I wrong. I used the gift card and that's it. I will never visit another Applebee's again, no matter where it is in the USA. Another left over from the 80's that needs to disappear. read more

I really tried giving Applebee's a shot after years. But I have no idea how it is still in business. Awful customer service. Dirty as heck inside. Rude customers. My soup was all cheese, no liquid. My boneless wings had a dry spicy rub on them instead of sauce. The mozzarella sticks were still frozen. The spinach artichoke dip was straight spinach & the most fake looking green you ever did see. You bet your bottom dollar I will not be back here. I also do not recommend it either. My boyfriend & I were feeling some type of way a few minutes after even eating it. read more

Food was great! Large menu with lots of options. Great kids menu with many choices. Portion sizes were large. Prices were great! Services was all little slow but it seemed like they were low staffed. However, the services itself was great. Staff was friendly. Lots of seating options and good for large or small groups. read more

I had a pick up order. The place was fairly empty on a Wednesday evening. The girl running the pick up counter had no urgency. They forgot to give me my sauce in the side on my boneless. All of these type of things were 100% expected when I chose to order there, so no big deal. We also ordered burgers and fries. The burgers were so salty we couldn't get more than 3 or 4 bites in. I was legit hungry and could not put a dent in this salt patty. I would suggest use the same burger recipe but remove the salt. Real odd. read more

Wow, this location needs a facelift. The 1 star is not a knock against the staff as they were friendly and helpful. Food was about average for what I expected. The building needs a remodel. It smells terrible when you walk in and remains to linger until you go nose blind. This may be the original carpet and interior from when the restaurant opened. I kept trying to not think of the conditions in the kitchen. Close it or make an investment, this is not a good representation of the brand. read more

Rating starting off low due to being told the wait would be only 10 to 15 minutes. That turned into 35 minutes without any type of update. There are way more people leaving than being seated and its not crowded at all. When I asked the person cleaning the booths for something to drink since we been waiting for a half hour he was very shocked and said he didn't know where the hostess was and he would sit us instead. The hostess finally came over and sat us. Our waiter was taking our orders and consistently cut me off while trying to talk thru the menu items with my party. Now I'm hoping the food better be good after all this. We ordered bone in wings which had a ton of sauce of them, mozzarella sticks as part of our 2 for $27 chicken and shrimp. The chicken was a bit charred but overall it was ok. read more

Biggest issue with my lunch was the overall muskiness of the interior: not to be crude, but the entranceway smelled like a high school locker room, and the dining area was giving straight wet golden retriever. Servers were doing their best given the obvious kitchen staff shortages, but y'know... the food wasn't there (and we got our checks 10 minutes after tables that arrived after us). Menu oversold my chopped 'n bagged iceberg lettuce as field greens; the chicken was two stars short of a Wendys grilled filet; and the one (1) breadstick tasted like an egg roll. Kind of weird? Admittedly, your ceiling might be a heady two stars if you stick to appetizers and sandwiches/burgers, but don't quote me on that. And nothing against Applebees at large here--I just sort of fondly recall them being enjoyably bad for the price 5 years ago. Also: don't be foolish (me) and order salads at Applebees. Better yet, stop elsewhere for lunch! read more

While I understand the short staffing of the restaurant industry right now I still don't understand the lack of service at this restaurant. When we enter the restaurant initially they were cleaning as if they were getting ready to close after asking several times we were finally seated, The hostess seemed very irritable and like she did not want to be at work which I didn't take personally. We were waiting on one more person so we told her server to which she walked away without any acknowledgment. Finally she came back and got her drink order and she bring our drinks out and then did not come back. Finally when she decided to return she got our orders without waiting for my friend to arrive after bringing an appetizer she never came back to refill our drinks and didn't come back until our entree came out. I never once got a refill on my water and by the time my friend came she never came back to the table to get his order until realizing he was there when she was attempting to drop the checks. Will probably never be back. read more

I'm having trouble, giving this location a good review. Historically, we've always received great service here, but not this time. Our server had a great start, being very accommodating. Unfortunately, that slid as there were large gaps between her follow-ups. My 20 oz steak took longer to prepare, which I expected, due to its size and my "medium well" request. What upset me was the temperature of the remainder of the plate- less than warm. (When the meat takes longer, wait before you put the food in...) I told her that the steak was delicious, but my other items were on the 'cool' side of warm. She offered to take the plate up to be warmed, which I accepted. When she returned, she dropped it off without offering any kind of apology. I also had to make multiple requests for water and we had to make two requests for a carry out container. When it was time to leave, she took our payment but didn't offer any apologies for the bad experience, nor did she say, "Thank You" or even goodbye. Mind you, we were pleasant the entire time and gave no indication of frustration or dissatisfaction. The sad part is that it was my Birthday meal/coupon and she never once even wished me a "Happy Birthday". Not that I needed it. I can say that the steak was fabulous, but that was undone by a shockingly bad service experience. I could have complained to the manager, but I leave that to future customers. I tend to only summon the manager when I want to extend my praises. read more

The service is horrible, even when setting at the bar you have to wait 15 to 20 minutes to order and re-order your drinks. They have young people that even when asked will not help other wait staff. I've heard these employees say to the other wait staff that "it's not my job" and literally set on one of the benches by the door or will set at a table in the bar area. All to often you have to wait for the bartender to come back from having a cigarette the service was so bad the last time I went that I vowed to never step foot in there again and I haven't. read more

Went in for the appetizers with my boyfriend. When you look on the website it says appetizers every day from 3-6pm our server failed to inform us that had changed to 10pm until close. Food was fine but hard to mess up fried food. Our server Simon W and was more concerned about singing, joking around with fellow coworkers, hollering all the way from the kitchen, being on his phone, and hanging at the corner of the bar with other employees drinking on the clock. If we were gonna end up paying $50 on appetizers and having sub par service that cant even bother to give you a refill or correct information on what brought you in we would have went else where. I don't recommend going here and would highly suggest to go somewhere else if you'd like to have an enjoyable dinning experience. read more

What a terrible experience. Our server took at least 10 minutes to come to our table, we ordered drinks he brought one and not the other. After several minutes he walked past our table and I called to him and he was belligerent saying he was busy. I asked him about my drink and he replied it was the bartenders responsibility. He brought the drink with our food order and the food was really as bad as our server. Never will I go to Applebee's again ever. read more

Haven't been in years but anytime I'm around it's always full so we decided to give it a try. Sat at the bar area and we didn't have a waitress for a few minutes. Where do I start...The amount of trash on the floor near the tables was a sight to be seen. Several employees just kept walking over it and none took ownership of their work environment. There was no care or concern for how trashy the place looked. The women's bathroom was a mess and smelled so bad. The wait to get our food was just over one hour. The bar had two bottles of beer (total) and only one beer on tap! Why? No explanation. Luckily the food was good and Ocean, our server was sweet. I was charged $18.56 for this. Extra for added sour cream, queso sauce and guacamole. All I got was the guacamole.
