A gentleman came in about 20 minutes free us and received his food a whole 20 minutes before us. We sat by a window, and the blinds were stuck in a position that caused the sun to blind us at our table. There was silverware, food, and trash under our table. I was invited to go to come here with family. We got seated quickly which was odd to me on a Friday night. Any other Applebee's would be packed around the corner on a Friday. Also everywhere else in town would have been too. I have heard bad reviews about this location before so I was a little skeptical. Have been a few times. Food isn't good. Salad was full of brown core parts. There was barely any lettuce. The loaded waffle fries were horrible. Fries with a dollop of queso and two pieces of bacon. I'd suggest not wasting your time or money here. Try one of the many other restaurants in town that actually serve edible food. My experience was preposterous. Although we were younger than the normal boring crowd that visits this horrendous place of business we still deserve to be served. The floor was disgusting and we waited 30 minutes for our DRINKS. By the time we ordered it was an hour after we arrived. Our server happened to be polite while the rest of them were give dirty looks the whole night. While we were staying polite and hopeful the staff continued to talk bad about us. The rest of the customers drank there drinks in peace, we sat being tormented by the staff. I would not be surprised if they spat in my drink. It got so bad to the point of us trying to stair down the staff. We waited patiently and finally had our drinks. Applebees Quincy is not what it used to be. The food & the service have gone down hill, badly. The management is a joke, at least the manager named Ralph. He is dishonest & is definitely not management material. My order was to go. The food was bad...I mean, bad. It went in the trash. This "Ralph" told me he lived near us & was getting off work in a few minutes. He said he'd bring us a fresh order. Terrific!! I waited & waited...he didn't show. I tried calling the restaurant to see what happened. No help at all. Called the next day. Ralph claimed to have delivered our food!! I told him I sat near the door for more than an hour. He obviously delivered it somewhere else or just lied about it. He ended up hanging up on me. Ok, So...I have notified Corporate. We shall see. This was the dirtiest restaurant I have been in for a very long time. The food all came from a bag and the lettuce was wilted in the salad. The glasses were so scratched that you couldn't tell is they were dirty. Believe me, dirty was my vote. Service has been terrible so much that I don't even want to go anymore. Waitresses have been really awful, and can't keep up with only a couple tables(Still tip good because their pay is awful.) One time they overcharged us by like $40 though, and I wasn't even sure how they made that mistake. Food is always made incorrect or burnt. Sometimes it'll be a hit but mostly a miss. I ate here with family on my birthday. We did the 2 for $20 special and I got the 7 inch steak with garlic mashed potatoes and corn plus a house salad. The steak was just right. The mashed potatoes were sooo good I wanted a 2nd serving of them. The corn was more of a Mexican corn salad to my surprise but it was ok. The service was quick and good. We were seated right away. The reason it doesn't get 5 stars is the flies. There were about 7-10 flies that dive-bombed our table the whole time we were there! It was very annoying. I brought my son Logan in here to celebrate his baseball game. After about 5 minutes of sitting we were asked about drinks. That was normal. But then it took about 20 minutes until we could get our darn order taken. After the 20 minutes, our waiter Gage came huffin and puffin over to ask for our orders. I still hadn't gotten an appetizer so I just asked for some bread and we would order the main meal next. It took about a 15 minute wait, but we finally got our bread and butter. I was wrong to think that this was the start of a pleasant experience. Our waiter proceeded to take off his garments and grab the butter for our bread, and just rub it all over that tummy of his. I snapped at him and I admit I may have used some innaproppriate words in my anger. But what I had just saw was astonishing and unacceptable. I'm rating two stars, and not because of the service. The few times I have been to Applebee's I have gotten great service, and always tipped accordingly. The problem is I think microwaves are used way too often in this establishment. I have ordered the pasta once before, and it was probably the best tasting dish I have gotten from there. However, the steak, not so much. While it was a hot pink center, which is the way I like it, it had no flavor and was almost rubbery. Again this most likely has nothing to do with the staff. When working in a chain restaurant they have to follow recipes and procedures passed down by the company. The company as a whole needs to step up their flavor. I am a firm believer in always trying something for yourself, rather than follow the crowd, everyone is different. This is just my personal opinion. read more

The miller lites ordered by my companions were skunky, asked for lemon wedges to try and hide it, and got them, eventually. The cheese dip was cold. Often the same dish comes out way different than the last time. There is usually something on the menu that I like though, and I like the half price apps after 9pm. Haven't eaten here in a long while due to bad experience. Decided to give it another go this past weekend. We had an awesome waitress who was sincerely nice. Unfortunately, our food wasn't good. I had a BLT which I thought would be difficult to go wrong with, but I was wrong. My son had a typical cheeseburger and was sick the rest of the night. Absolutely disgusting. Server was awful. Brought us our salads. Didn't bring us a fork until I got up and asked another server. When the fork was brought it had food all over it. I had to get up again and find someone to get a replacement. I told the bartender who didn't seem to care whatsoever but still brought us a cleaner fork. Then our food comes. Chicken Fettucini Alfredo. Dirty gunk on the edges of the plate. Crusted moldy food. I requested a manager at that point. I think it was the owner who talked to us. Bald headed guy. He offered us different food but otherwise it was obvious how little he cared. We still ended up paying full price for the trash given to us. Money taken off our order or even a free meal was never offered. Absolutely disgusting. I haven't gone in there for a year because some of the wallpaper in there has mold all over the back of them. I saw it one day because the wallpaper had unstuck from the wall and had flipped down. Black gunk all over the back of the wallpaper. This establishment needs to be torn apart.
