Restaurant is very slow with helping delivery drivers. I have to wait 15+ minutes for them to even acknowledge my existence- why have a room for delivery drivers to stay in if you're never going to check if someone is there? read more

The service was great at this location. We were greeted and told it would be about 45-60 minute wait for a table but without any prompting or asking and after working with their manager they quickly sat us down at an empty table. The waitress was great and offered advice about lemonade flavors when we inquired. The blue raspberry lemonade was great! Very clean restaurant, plenty of parking, good staff, and good food. read more

The absolute worst food I have ever eaten. The boneless chicken wings were awful, dry, and tasteless. The blonde brownie was dried up like it sitting out We were just appalled by the kind of food that we were served by DoorDash. read more

so me and my girlfriend went here for our anniversery, we ordered our food to go and at first it was great service. we ordered our food then waited in our car like they asked, only for us to get the food and get back home and realize they gave me the wrong food completely. so we drove back to the restaurant where we talk to a manager who seemed too old to even comprehend what i was saying. we explained our issue and she went back to get the right food, so we wait another 30-40 min while she gets our food but she came out with the wrong food again. so when i told her she acted like this is what i wanted the whole time. after ordering my food at 8 and waiting all the way till 10, she finally came out with the right order but there was barely any chicken or pasta and there are literally 2 pieces of peppers in it. Like you gotta me messin wit me at this point read more

Went at early lunch and was seated immediately.Server took our drink order and we were served in minutes.Food was delicious and fast, zero problems here.If I had to be picky, the server Kelvin T should speak louder because some of us can't hear good but as far as the service...it was flawless.Restaurant was really dark, like you think a bar would be but would be nice to let some sunshine in. Overall A/5 stars read more

5 tables sat and only two servers so the hostess tells us it's going to be a 30 min wait. Manager comes over from sitting at the bar to tell us that he doesn't have any help. If only there was something he could do. If you're too good to help your team members, they don't have a server problem they have a management problem. It's no wonder they can't keep a staff. Don't forget they're so used to having the entire bar area closed, because of no bartender, they have signs on every column and table. I will say the waiter that we have has always been a good one. Poor guy. read more

Everyone was very very hungry, even though it was a Bittersweet moment for us. We decided to go to Applebee's to eat and fellowship. I decided to order the all you can eat boneless wings fried shrimp and baby back ribs. The price was very reasonable for $12.99. Parking was easy accessible and we were immediately seated. read more

We came here for dinner in the middle of a very long drive. We ordered regular cheese bites, two sirloins with mashed potatoes and fries, and drinks. Our cheese bites were visibly the flaming hot ones, but our server insisted they were normal so we didn't even eat them. My girlfriend ordered her steak medium rare but obviously it was well done. Server was overall friendly and my food was pretty good, so just a mediocre experience in general. read more

So I am 19 and I haven't been to Applebee's since I was prob 10. I use to love to come here with my grandparents and after tonight coming with my girlfriend the food hasn't changed and it is still as good as I remember it. I had the grilled chicken with mushrooms and loaded mashed potatoes. I will definitely recommend the waitress Mia! She was nice and very polite and did her job perfectly. Definitely 5 stars from me!!! read more

This is your basic Applebee's location. I've found across most areas, the menu is usually the same, so my review here is not based on food. It is based on our waiter/bartender, Moses. Dude was super cool, sat with us and had a conversation about where we were traveling and where we had come from. It was a late night tgetting into Montgomery, Alabama and being in an area we knew nothing about was a bit intimidating. We hadn't planned on staying in the area, but we had been on the road for awhile and had a sudden change in plans, so this is where we ended up. We stopped at the first place we saw to have a very later dinner. Moses made the night enjoyable and showed that southern hospitality you always hear of. I probably want be driving thru Montgomery again anytime soon, but if you are, stop in and say hello to this guy. You'll be happy you did. read more

Applebee's is great! As for this location not so much! For one it smelled like still water/moldy. My server was great, the food that came out was terrible and when I spoke to the manager he tried to downplay everything. "We use all the same ingredients everywhere...so idk" He's right but yours taste disgusting !! His nonchalant attitude about the situation made it worse. I can't say that this is every night but my experience, two thumbs down!!!! read more

Applebee's Grill + Bar - Four Cheese Mac & Cheese with Honey Pepper Chicken Tenders - Sports Bars Near Me - Montgomery, Alabama

This establishment (Atlanta Hwy) has gotten into a bad habit of closing its bar seating w/o notice and thinks nothing of their bartenders not showing up for work as all they have do is reach for a sign time after time. The Management here continually dumps on the bar customers as we have no idea until walking into the door if it is really is a bar and grill that day or just for that shift. Really bush league Management here. Unfortunately, the City, State, nor the BBB will be able to do anything about the practice so I would go to another Applebee's (Taylor Rd, Carter Hill Rd) or just plain somewhere else if you plan on sitting at the bar. read more

I got seated right away, but 25 minutes went by without a server. When he finally came, I ordered a water and my meal, another 15 minutes before he brought the water, and then another server brought my meal out 15 minutes after the water. So about an hour went by before I even ate. Not worth it for an Applebee's. read more

I have been using the Applebee's online ordering option with the drive up pickup. I am partial to the Oriental salads. For the last 2 visits I have had to go inside to get my order. So upon walking in the host tells me and my wife that we have to wait 25-30 mins for a table, and that are other people waiting before us.. she takes my name and phone number to send a text when the table is ready but ends up texting me as soon as we get back to the car......... what happened to 25-30 mins..? So we get the server by the name "Kai s." She greets the table late after she has walked past us several times .. finally she greets. No excitement or enthusiasm.. asks for what we would like to drink after she complains to the host fir sitting her twice.. we order drinks, and I order Kendall Jackson Chardonnay and my wife orders crown and coke. She tells me to give her a minute to write my wine as if she is unsure of her wines which I understand , but tells me they probably don't have it. I use to work for Taylor rd Applebee's in the past I am very familiar with the system and what they have and almost told her how to ring it in.. finally get our drinks . She brings water to the table with no straws and walks off, couldn't find her for a while. Food delivered .. my wife order steak with shrimp, she brings the steak out and no shrimp but brings the shrimp 5 mins later and it was cold and my wife had to wait to eat her steak.. my quesadillas cheese was not melted completely and I had to send it back . Not only that I had to ask them to move a container that had food from previous tables and old napkins that was next to our table and she acted as if I was stupid for asking for it to be moved.. who was wants to see stuff like that while eating! She never came to check if the food was good or if we needed anything . I had to keep looking for her ! Never again will I eat there! read more

We stopped in here for dinner. It had been several years since eating st Applebee's and we're looking forward to trying it again. We had the spicy buffalo wings for an appetizer. They were very good, but not as spicy / hot as we expected. I ordered the Thai Chicken Salad and was very satisfied with it. My husband ordered the grilled pike chop topped with shrimp, grilled fresh vegetables, & steamed broccoli. It was very good. Our server was very good, asked about refilling our sparkling water without been no prompted by us. He was courteous & efficient without hovering. We will return again. read more

I have been to this place numerous time. The 2 for 20 deal is awesome. The staffs are friendlier, not too fond of their drinks.

The appetizers are good I don't usually come here to eat full course meals just something light. I went one night when it was karaoke night and I could've sworn I was at club rose. I was confused but full. So just go for the food . lol read more

Went here last night it's been a while since I've been here. Had the brunch burger and was very dissatisfied. The egg on the cheese burger was all dried out including the yolk which should be the best part. I would say though my daughters 4 macncheese with honey pepper chicken was good. So maybe it was a off night for the burger not sure but if you order the burger you might request that the egg be wet read more

The service was excellent, however the food was dreadful. There were only grille marks on the top, I asked for my steak medium well, but it was cooked all the way. It was tough, and chewy, seemed to be microwaved, and had no juice. The fries were good, and the boneless wings were fine. Over all the food is bad. Don't come here unless you are planning on buying doggie treats. read more

The food was as typical for Applebee's, not great or horrible. The service was pleasant enough. A couple things I would change: If the service staff is going to eat and/or socialize, I wouldn't let them do it amongst the customers. I would have the wait staff be more knowledgeable about the menu, meaning that, I asked what a 'Brewtus' was and got a mumbled response regarding the drink menu. Also, I never got asked 'How is everything' or anything close to that, by anyone. read more

Absolutely terrible. Three people at our table, one of us ordered the bourbon chicken. It was burnt and the onions and mushrooms were also burnt. Not sautéed, burnt. He tried to eat it but said he felt like he was literally forcing himself to eat a rubber chicken. So after a bit or two, he stopped and asked the server to discount his meal because it wasn't edible. Discount. Not take the whole meal off, but simply discount it in an attempt to not upset the server and to let the manager make the decision to do the right thing. However, the manager never came and spoke to us or tried to make the meal or ticket right. Instead, took three dollars off a 50$ meal, (basically took a sweat tea off). Any other restaurant wouldn't have let food come out of the kitchen like that, and any manager that wanted to retain guests or even took pride in their job would've been embarrassed and at least apologized to try and make it right. We did however get to hear her sing R&B throughout the restaurant.... On the way out, we noticed a table where the same bourbon chicken meal was also burnt and un-eaten by the person who just left the table, so I know this is something that wasn't exclusive to us or a one time event. Either way we will not return. read more

The music was blasting when we walked in it felt like a club. When the host sat us directly under a speaker I asked if we could be sat somewhere farther from the speaker. The host said no we will just turn the music down. The host did not turn the music down. The only reason I couldn't give it one star was because our waiter tried his best. When I asked him to turn the music down he did. Right as he was back at out table to take our order the music was blasting yet again however they changed the genre to Adel and Taylor Swift (maybe thinking we'd like it better?) but that's not what I asked I wanted quieter music doesn't matter what type is played. Every time our waiter tried to get the music turned down someone turned it right back up again. It was a very uncomfortable experience. Not worth the trouble. read more

Walked in and waited 30 minutes, but there were at least 8 empty tables. Half the tables were dirty the entire wait. Once seated it took forever to get silverware and orders taken. 10 minutes after orders were taken, was informed that they were out of soup. Once food and drinks arrived, drinks were watered down and no one liked their dish. Serve checked on us only once after food was delivered. Total embarrassing experience. Total time 2 hours. Health department score was in the 80s. You cannot see the score unless you are leaving the restaurant. Do not recommended this location for any reason. read more
